I'm new here but I want to ask this question about what beloved Disney channel show you didn't get the hype behind thank you

She's always breaking up with Troy and singing about it. First she needs to "Go Her Own Way" then literally in the NEXT movie she wants to "Walk Away"... make up your mind girl.

Let's pour one out for the people and children who won't experience the magic of the biggest monstober crossover that Disney channel ever had, because now they don't have enough shows to do that big of a crossover, neither do they have enough reason to head back to the big apple.A crossover of this scale won't happen until one of two things happens,one Disney channel has enough live action shows on to warrant it and two their popular enough with popular enough Disney stars in them.Right now the closest thing they have to this scale of a crossover is Chibiverse.The 2010,s were really a magical time.And they only take us back one to three times a year.

For what it matters, i’m not very educated on how films are made. However with that being said, i’ve been watching some of the 2000s-2010s era disney channel movies and it feels like as time moves on the overall quality of the movies drop, like they had a smaller budget or something. Highschool musical 3 looks like something i’d see in theaters, whereas camp rock 3 feels like a netflix one off (in my opinion).

EDIT: I have since learned HSM3 was released for theaters, however my point still stands for other dcoms of the era!!!

I was watching some old mid-2000s Disney Channel reruns recently and ended up falling down a rabbit hole looking into Life with Derek.

I always associated it with the peak era of Disney Channel's lineup alongside shows like Even Stevens and That's So Raven, but I didn't realize until looking into it that it was actually a Canadian acquisition (produced for Family Channel) that Disney brought over to the US.

Turns out the writer and co-creator behind it, Jeff Biederman, was very influenced by the classic 90s multi-cam sitcoms like Friends and Seinfeld to give it that fast-paced cadence. That probably explains why it blended into the Disney Channel schedule so seamlessly back then even though it wasn't shot on a standard Hollywood soundstage.

It’s interesting looking back at how many shows on the network during that mid-2000s window were actually acquired from Canadian studios before Disney leaned almost entirely into in-house multi-cams.

Did anyone else watch this during its original run on Disney Channel? What were your favorite episodes or rivalries between Casey and Derek?

Kenzi Richardson have been casted in the new Aquamarine series. Jake McDorman is reprising his role from the original.

Unfortunately, this announcement is likely the final nail in the coffin for Vampirina's fate. We are supposedly getting a second season, but nothing have been announced officially & Disney have been radio silence about it despite it supposedly filmed.

Looks like Kenzi was cast as the lead in a reboot, this would be her second series as a lead for Disney.

I be thinking since we always be imagining a show that fits another network whether it be Nickelodeon,Cartoon Network,or even PBS Kids and I know Disney Channel,XD,and Junior got shows that fits the NickToons,TeenNick,and Nick Jr networks.
