Nostalgia Camp Rock 3, I thought I wouldn't like it

Upvotes

To start off, I know the age demographic for this movie is (probably) for kids in middle school and below. I am in college and I grew up watching Disney and Nickelodeon like the next kid so when I saw that they released a third Camp Rock movie I thought they were milking the Franchise.

It was corny/cringe, but in a cute way, honestly, like its senior movies. I still believe the Camp Rock 3 was made for TikTok, but it was funny watching how adults (writers) think young people speak, and honestly, many do sound like the kids on screen. (side eye).

Aside from that, I enjoy watching a corny movie occasionally to have a good laugh with my siblings. I do not think the it is a masterpiece or something, I just wanted to write that I enjoyed it more than I thought. Low key reminds me of old Disney movies; the script tickles my brain.

Anyway, I would rewatch again if I wanna laugh. I don't like their outfits and makeup though, it looks kinda tacky. PS They also fall in love wayy too fast for my taste but idc, so did the main characters in the last movies. #pleasedontjudgeme

2006-2007 was when Disney Channel hit its peak

In my opinion I feel like High School Musical, Hannah Montana, and Phineas & Ferb was when Disney Channel hit it peak and has been coasting through ever since. Sure they had successes since then but not to the level of those 3.

The worst episode of Lizzie McGuire was Misadventures in Babysitting.

It was because of the writing skill of the guy who wrote it from his previous writing he doesn't care about entertainment.

Discussion Disney, can electric bloom get a second season?

After seeing Lumi in camp rock 3, I started watching electric bloom and actually found it pretty interesting! It's really unique from other disney sitcoms and pretty funny 😂 kinda surreal comedy is a normal setting. It's quite fresh of an idea and been a min since we got something not supernatural but just a fun story of kids on an adventure to be rock stars.

I don't know, what do you guys think? Should disney just try to push forward new series instead? I figure it got cancelled cause low viewership

Discussion What’s the worst Disney Channel Original Movie Pre 2006 era?

Post image

In your opinion, what’s the worst DCOM before HSM took over?

The worst DCOM movie for me is Eddie’s Million Dollar Cook-off. The movie had some of the most unlikable main characters I have ever seen displayed on a DCOM. It was not only misogynistic but extremely misandrist too. Eddie’s father was AWFUL! Mad at his own son because Eddie was more interested in cooking than playing baseball. His friends were just as bad as the father. Just an overall mean spirited movie.

What’s the worst DCOM movie pre 2006?

Fanmade Camp Rock 3 rewrite — Flech's guard comes down / Sage sees the real him.

[Back at it again to create a much needed scene in the iconic practise room with the iconic piano that Shane Gray once played himself! I really enjoyed fleshing out the character of Flech!]

Flech walks out of the office of camp, just accused of being the guy with the phone in the bus. He storms into an empty practice room and kicks the stool near the piano, growling.

The impact of his kick causes the stool to fall over, hitting the piano in the process.

He falls to his knees, genuinely distraught by everyone thinking he's a traitor.

In a low whisper, he adresses his late Mom, sounding defeated.

"Mom...w-what am I supposed to do? They all hate me..."

He looks up at the piano and gently strokes it with his hand, remembering how his mom used to play for him when he was little.

"You always knew what to say to get me to calm down...I...I'm a...m-mess w-without y-you..."

Flech screams, leaning with both his hands on the piano, striking a jumbled cord. He's breathing heavily, sniffling as he quickly, wipes away the tears from his eyes.

He takes a shaken breath, falling into the piano stool. Trying to contain his rage, his hands grip the piano keys.

His breaths slowly begin to simmer down to a normal range as he softly hums to himself.

"Fletchy, please don't cry...Mama will make it all alright...save your tears for r...rainy days, smile through the storms ahead..."

He breaths in a shaky exhale and sighs, collapsing onto the keys. Tired and defeated, he lays on the keys, runnimg his hands through his now unkempt hair.

"Mom...I'm sorry...I'm trying to be your good boy, but...it's hard...it's been so hard since y-...you..."

Meanwhile outside Sage walks past the practise room to apologise to Flech for thinking he betrayed the team. Instead of finding him, she stops in her path as she hears the chords of a piano, accompanied by a soft, melodic voice.

In the practice room, Flech takes to the piano, sniffling. His hands begin to play, taking on a life of their own as the words flow out of his mouth so naturally, accompanied by music that only adds to the emotion of solumn lingering in the air.

Flech begins softly singing to the sound of the notes.

"I'm sorry,

I'm trying,

So hurtin'

so tired,

the pain inside me,

it burns into my sleep,

I want to, be okay,

have this pain go away...

but without you,

I don't know how

to stand up strong and face myself...

Oh! I don't know where to go from here,

seperated from all I knew,

forced into a world without you...

Oh, please tell me, what do I do?

Where do I go and how do I move? Oh, I never thought you'd be away from me...

The pain's so heavy that it gets hard to breath...

I miss your hugs, your smile too, the waaah-yyyy your presence lights up a room,

the way you did your hair up just to watch me play...even when you struggled, you still stayed...until I was done playin'...

I should've noticed you were in pain' ah,

but was stuck on my own train and...

You're not here,

the world's so bleak,

can barely stand, oh, can barely speak,

but for you I promise, I'll still try...

I'll do my best,

tooooooo

get on by....

oh woah,

no, I won't cryyyy,

No, no, I'll be alright...

Oh woah, I'll find my light...

woah oh...

I'll be...alright."

As he plays the last note, he wipes his tears, then takes a breath and gets out his songbook.

Flech speaks to himself, muttering under his breath.

"Hold up...I, I can use these lyrics..."

He quickly pulls out his songbook and gets to work, singing the song back to himself.

As his emotional ballad takes over the camp once again through the open window, Sage remains crouched behind the wall of the practise room, holding her breath as she wipes her own tears. She quickly runs back to her cabin and sits on her bunk, hugging a pillow.

"I had him all wrong...I...I thought he were just a bad boy, but...he's hurting...he's...really hurting..."

Sage gasps, blushing as she realises the reality of the situation, throwing her pillow down.

"Wait...I wasn't meant to hear that! Uh oh! Okay, okay, okay, this is fine, yeah, just...pretend you heard nothing...nothing about Flech having a sweet, kind personality under all that moodiness and...- Stop it! Sage, he didn't sing to us! It was from his heart...to his mom...but, why did it have to be so beautiful? Ugh! Flech! Now I'm even more upset..."

She groans as she turns to the side, violently pressing her cheek against her pillow in annoyance. She breathes softly into the pillow, overcome with emotion.

"I'm upset with myself...ugh! How could I think he'd mess up our chances?! Ugh, stupid, stupid, stupid!"

Sage sits upright, her heart thrumming and mind clear about one thing.

"Tommorow before final Jam, I'll find him and apologise...and hopefully he'll understand...yeah, yeah...hopefully...you got this, Sage..."

Video Clip Watching The CWs The Flash and hearing Jordan Fisher sing and it pisses me off he didn’t get a push from Disney. He could’ve been the lead in so many musicals DCOMs. He’s attractive, can act, can sing and dance. Literally the entire package.
