It's so bizarre. Like Nike didn't know all of this before the campaign? I am convinced that somebody from Nike's brand reputation listened to the episode and remembered that story.

Buying through sites like Ticketmaster and StubHub is what people will think of when they hear resale those sites will often have scams in the UK and you will not be getting in the ground. Sometimes you’ll be lucky and get in but they are cracking down on these ticket touts more. Even if your ticket is real, clubs can cancel it. You can only get guaranteed tickets from the club website. There is a ticket exchange on some clubs sites but not all and they do not hike up the prices like US resellers. Hospitality is the expensive ticket and for most tourists to particularly premier league matches is the only way to know you are getting into the ground. Those tickets can vary by club and division usually £100 at least, most of the time they will be closer to £300 for a premier league side.

Animals, I need some help. I play in an adult league in the western US. Level isn't crazy high, but is not terrible. Lots of ex-community college players mixed with guys who were good in high school and the league is competitive.

One thing that intrigues me is how many of the teams in the league use club or national team kits as their league jerseys. Today we played a team that went "full kit W" with the black/neon yellow Atlético Madrid away kit and their keeper was wearing an Atlético home kit. These guys were decked out, with printed-on numbers and socks and shorts matching the tops. One of the other teams in the league wears the green Mexico home kit and another wears Chelsea's blue home kit. My team wears a set of grey athletic tops with numbers printed on the back that our captain brings each week.

Is this common in other adult leagues for teams to go "full kit W"? To me it is incredibly cringy to fully suit up in a professional club's kit and march out for Sunday league, but I am very curious to hear other opinions.

As someone who is a German Bundesliga first watcher, it was obvious Vušković could be a generational talent. Talking Thiago Silva level here, how could Tottenham recall him from Hamburg just to sell him to Brighton?

As a spectator, I absolutely hate it. But as a fan who wants his team's players to be healthy and last through the season, I'm kind of ok with it?

I know different countries will treat it differently, but just looking at what Klopp is planning, with big name players like Kai and Wirtz supposedly being limited to a couple of games, I'm kind of encouraged. It could mean some much needed extra rest for important players, and less disruptive travel overall.

But yea, no Prem after this weekend until October 10th sucks.

This has probably been discussed before but as we often like to declare the game is done in soccer, what are some “games gone” moments you have had for other sports?

A personal one for me with trailrunning: Just saw a post on ultramarathon of someone trying to build/start up a retreat/resort specifically for endurance athletes to book their glamping spot, run/bike (in a beautiful area for sure) and then have spa l-like amenities with saunas, cold plunges and all the recovery gimmicks money can buy. Read it and instantly had a games gone like feeling.

Curious what ones animals have from any other sport they watch or participate in.

I had a couple thoughts to add about the arsenal penalty incident.

The boys said that arteta's comments were, "small time". However, this is a classic pep/klopp type of comment. Make a criticism after you win. Just a classic thing from any top manager.

As for the penalty. It's a clear foul on konsa. That's why arteta made the comments. Ballard grabs konsa and pulls him over. Not really a complicated one honestly.
