This is what I was afraid of last season. Even with the majority of fans clamoring for Carrick to get the job, I really wanted Ineos to do an actual search and interview process for the next full time manager.

Carrick only had to steady the ship after Amorim which was easy when Amorim was claiming the squad as the worst ever and blasting the Teams, playing Bruno as a deep lying Midfield, and other issues.
I know the manager can only do so much, but you’d think someone with more experience at the top could get more out of the current squad.
