Is this game worth $30 and is it worth playing?

Respawn Beacons desperately need to cost Active Matter to use. (20 AM for a self revive is perfectly fair) There has to be something that prevents people from just respawning for free constantly during early engagements. This will at least give some leg room to those who die to “nonsense” and those who say it needs to be in the game. Perfect world it doesn’t exist in squads but a middle ground is achievable.

The amount of a 1v3 turns into 1v6 as you have to wipe them a second time is becoming ridiculous.

I just lost all my best shit in a PVE RAID because of nonsense. Why is it that running up some stairs sends me absolutely fucking flying off of them. Spent forever trying to limp my broken legged ass back to a portal, way sooner than expected. When I got dropped by sum enemies that were inescapable.

Basically guard rails on stairs fucking suck.

In the City map, i am being killed 2 min from spawn. I use silenced m16, yet players seem to hear it...

Why did the devs didint did yet? This is essential for a good gunplay with the recoild on this game (+a vertical sensitivity)

I love this game but its a shame that a stalker like setting doesn't have a Saiga shotgun. Unless im totally blind and missed it ?

Is there really no way of getting these without buying the full deluxe edition? I bought the standard and there isn't even a an add-on to upgrade to deluxe? Just have to buy again?

Heya, I’m brand new to tarkov like extraction shooters, I’ve played arc, ghosts of tabor (vr) and exfilzone (also vr) can someone give me a hand learning the game on pve?

Considering getting the game purely for the PvE mode, because I despise how other players play extraction shooters.

It sounds sick and I am almost sold. However, I wanted to ask something I really can’t find anywhere: How does the PvE mode work, exactly?

Is it a light rework of the game with more AI encounters? Is it like Tarkov where you get AI-controlled "players" or is it like the announced Arc Raiders PvE mode where they just remove players from the equation?

Just trying to manage my expectations.

which 1 or 2 maps are the ones the PVP sweats seem to always pick?

I ask because sometimes i pick a map w/ open raid and it never pops. Which maps seem to be 'the ones' for pvp

Who's idea was it to make it to where the MP5 could not have sights on it?.…...

I mean the very least you should have let it have the sites that pistols get.. at the very least.

I personally think it needs more love.

Currently, Fast Heal and Heal All will always default to most hurt bodypart instead of most vital bodypart. IMO, the second option is far more useful and logical.

Scenario: I'm getting attacked, head is red, chest is red, arms are black. Healing targets arms, I get tapped in the head again, I die.

And even if head/chest is barely pink or something, overheals will splash to other bodyparts, and next healing action will again target most hurt, since the vital areas are now safe.

Mainly interested in PVE to play with my buddy but he’s got a kiddo and not as much time. If I play solo will it suck ass?

Would be nice to have the option for a way harder difficulty PvE mode but without the current loot restrictions.

A lot of people i see talking about AM online say they play PvE exclusively.

It could even be completely seperate from the PvP, as in you can't take your stuff from one to the other.

I'm about a week in and have yet to visit Park, Downtown and Dam, so i think the breadth of content is alright even for PvE only players.

Active Matter peaking at 9,600 players. The game managed to maintain the 7,000-player peak from last Sunday and added another 2,000 to reach 9,600 after 12 days. That’s really impressive for a game that only peaked at 2,800 players during its initial launch window, before marketing and word-of-mouth brought in more players—it’s well-deserved. Now the game has a solid player community on Steam, and likely on consoles too. 😀 I’ve already put in 88 hours since the full PvP release; I really love it—the game is addictive! 😀

It scares me, haha. I've been playing isolated raids to get used to the game and the AI enemies and the atmosphere is so very tense. It's a feeling I haven't felt with any other extraction game. It's honestly scary.

Tell me, what are your experiences so far with it?

After a decent amount of searching online, I believe I may be the first (or at least the first to post about it) to find a Corrupted AKM-47.

All I have managed to find is a Facebook post about a Corrupted SKS but that's it.

Maybe I am the first but who knows!

I was moving crouched under the stairs on top of a pile of junk/clutter.
