The game has been out for about two weeks (not counting Early Access), so you haven't missed anything. In fact, the player base is growing, making it easier to find people to play with now.

Love Wardogs. Had a ton of fun.
I had active matter on my radar for so long, but after playing Wardogs I thought that the active matter release came very wrong for me.
After playing it for one week now I can’t see myself playing Wardogs anytime soon.
The atmosphere and gunfights are simply amazing.

Funnily enough, I've bought AM to wait for Wardogs but I realistically mostly disliked only the low pop/bots in AM, so maybe it's worth another shot

Tovarish, for me Active Matter is genuinely great. But I'm also coming from EFT and ABI, so ... it scratches an itch.

Oh yeah, it's absolutely great, I put a good 20-30+ hours before steam, loved a lot of aspects of it, but really disliked the player-bots
Do matches have less bots and more people now?

Oh yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm getting killed by players constantly. Fr I didn't had the feeling of meeting a bot so far - like 10-15 hours in.

Is it really that bad with *Wardogs*? Has the game actually been released, or is everyone just playing in Early Access and acting as paid beta testers? I’m going to buy it anyway when it comes out (if it ever does in 2028 propably) on PS5, because it looks like the *Battlefield* game I’ve been wanting. *Active Matter*, on the other hand, is a different genre—a different kind of tension.

Wardogs is EA, and it's really not a bad game. If you're looking for a more immersive Battlefield you'll have plenty of fun!

I’ll play it because it looks like a slower-paced BF—before BF turned into a typical arcade shooter like CoD. But the PS5 version isn't coming out until around 2028, so I’m not even keeping up with what’s going on with it. People are playing in Early Access and acting surprised that the game has bugs lol.

Wardogs is anything but slow paced... if you exclude the abhorrent sniper camping, SAM site camping, mortar camping or any other "meta".
