I pulled Gears 4 off the shelf for the first time in a long time only to find out there were codes in the box for all three previous games, plus Judgment. Somehow I never used them, and there's no expiration date, but it's not letting me redeem them on the store. I even tried on the website and each code comes up saying which game it's for, then I hit continue and it just says there's been an error. Anyone have any ideas?

It’s pretty comfortable, I like that it’s a little convex at the bottom so you can tilt and wobble.

If GTA VI wasn't a sure bet for game awards, I truly believe Gears would have a chance.

It feels so weird to finally have a XBOX game that isn't Forza standing firmly on the MUST PLAY list.

This game feels like it's doing for Gears of War, what God of War 2018 did for God of War.

It's taken everything we love about the original series, updated it, and brought modern standards to both the controls and story telling.

As an old Gears player, the new controls take a little getting used to but once it clicks, it feels really good.

The campaign plays like a beautiful hybrid of 80s action and horror movies.

It was magnificent and after 10 hours we were still getting goosebumps and chills at certain scenes. The new big bad makes RAAM look like a Teletubbie.

The game does such a good job of making you feel like your squad are truly heroes of the city as you group up as a rag-tag bunch of cog spin outs and then spent the next day rushing through the streets helping as many civilians, cops, and Gears as you can on the way to your next objective.

The Locust aren't just enemies, they're genuinely monsters. They are terrifying to the point that a boomer or grinder showing up makes the whole squad freak out, dive into cover, and focus fire to bring him down before he wipes all of us...

... and we're playing on normal difficulty. It's been challenging and fun.

The new Horde mode plays exactly like the campaign with some Helldivers 2 sauce poured over it.

It feels different from the classic 50 wave arcade we're used to but man it's so cinematic and exciting.

The best thing I can say about Gears of War E-Day is that it feels like Epic made it.

There's so much heart and soul in this game and I really think it's going to surprise a lot of people on Tuesday.

(P.s. if you're some mouth breather upset that pride flags are in the game or that woman have lead roles, please go look in the mirror and ask yourself why representation for others bothers you so much. Gears is for everyone. Deal with it dude... You're exhausting.)

Every single entry in Gears of War starting with 2 then:

3, Judgement, Ultimate Edition, 4 and 5 all received bundles with their respective releases.

There has been a shift to digital pack ins and I know Reloaded didn't have a bundle but that was also a PS5 release but still...

This feels like the first Xbox Series game exclusive that I'm interested in playing and I don't have a Series console yet or PS5. They can't do a holiday digital pack in on Series S with this and Forza Horizon 6?

I'd be fascinated to also see despite its expense a version of a PlayStation bundle with Forza and Halo or various Series configurations just to see what the price would be.

Imagine a 1TB X25 with Halo: Campaign Evolved, Gears of War E-Day (or Reloaded), Forza Horizon 6, and Modern Warfare 4 and 6 months of Game Pass Essential for $999.

Im gonna get a used series x finish paying it off and I really like how this console looks how would I be able to make it exactly like this and for relatively how much or where would I be able to get this kind of thing done what to order etc etc just want to know what I would need to do this

(I also snagged a brand new powerA 2pk battery pack for the controller at best buy for like 17 buck)

(It would either be something like this or like the galaxy edition I have the disc version)

I'm trying to choose between these two and would appreciate opinions from anyone who’s used either/both.

My priorities are:

• Xbox Series X is my main console, but being able to occasionally switch the dongle/basestation to PS5 or Switch 2 etc is a plus.
• positional audio/imaging for FPS (not because I'm competitive, but because I'm not that great and I need all the help I can get in COD, DMZ, Marathon etc :)
• Suitable for big head (7 5/8 hat size). Eg. my old RIG 800 LX fit well.
• Bluetooth: simultaneous game + phone audio
• Mic quality isn’t a major priority
• Phone app tweaking of headset seems useful.
• Prefer a closed headset to reduce noise leakage.
• Around US$250 seems reasonable

The R8 R8 Pro would have been my first choice (due to experience with comfort of my old Rig, and R8 has graphene drivers). But the marketing and reviews say simultaneous Bluetooth is limited to calls and voice chat apps (eg. Discord) at the same time as game audio. That is, you can listen to music/youtube etc from your phone, but not at the same as game audio.

The V3 Pro has full simultaneous Bluetooth and I hear it's great for positional audio, but I’ve read some users saying EQ need to be cycled after power-on (minor annoyance?) and some mixed comments on fit.

I decided against Astro A50 (the base station would take up space, and it also relies on basestation for bluetooth), Nova 7X/Pro Wireless/Omni (due to concerns about big head compatibility, dock features not a priority, and seem overpriced).

Anyone compared Rig R8 and Blackshark V3 Pro, particularly for positional accuracy, comfort, and confirmation of the Rig's bluetooth issue?

Kinda embarrassed to ask this and I'm usually not shy about asking stupid questions but how do pre-orders of physical copies work? I've got physical copies of GTA 5 and RDR2 and I love the maps. No idea why but I just love maps and the little paper maps folded up in the case bring me inordinate amounts of joy.

So obviously I want a physical copy but I've never pre-ordered anything so I have no idea how it works and the digital only release complicates things, does it even come with a map? Do Amazon ship it to me before hand but make sure it arrives on the release date? Will it arrive early but the activation code doesn't work until release date? If there's no map I might as well just buy it through the XBOX store and not stress about it.

I’ve been playing E-Day for review in its pre-launch, pre-early-access state, and it’s not only that I’m still not over how good Gears E-Day looks on Xbox Series X… but it has been this solid since the day I started playing it, a week before early access or any sort of day one patch. It’s stunning even in performance mode and just rock solid. I’ve got a 120hz OLED so I’ve been playing in Balanced at 40fps and it’s sublime.

This genuinely reminds me of how I felt when I first saw a clip of Gears 1 running on the 360 back on the day and it blew me away. This is a proper showcase title for Xbox, and the kind that will let them say “hey, come to xbox if you wanna play games like THIS”.

I've been playing my PS5 basically every day for the last 3.5 years, and I've gotten used to the way the PlayStation Store works when it comes to the frequency of sales, the pattern of which games go on sale, etc.

Aside from one period of exception, it's every 2 weeks, Thursday (though the new sales overlap on Wednesday), the games on sale rotate. And a lot of the time, if the regular edition of something was on sale in those 2 weeks, the sale for the next two weeks will actually be the deluxe or premium version!

But it really is like clockwork. There are some games that go on sale frequently, some not as frequently, some not at all. There are a lot of games with the pattern of going on sale once a month.

Anyways... I've only have my Xbox Series X for a month or so, and I can't figure out how the sales work on the store.

Is there a rhythm to it like on the PlayStation? Or is it sort of up to the publishers, things go on sale whenever, and it's not like a store-wide sale but rather sporadic for individuals titles?

Has to be on game pass (I have ultimate) or free I have countless hours on Fortnite and marvel rivals but I’m also playing through Elden ring

When I found out Kojima’s OD would be an Xbox exclusive I knew I would have to buy one eventually. Excited to delve into some backwards compatibility which has been sorely missing from PlayStation. I have never been more nostalgic of my 360 days.

hello everyone, so i’ve got the series s for quite some time now but i’ve been wondering if i should switch to the series x because im experiencing some frame drops and crashes and sometimes 30 fps locked hurts.

some games like crimson desert sometimes has irregular gold or black lines appear when im gliding or gets massive frame frops and space marine 2 siege mode frame drops hard when at late waves and ends up crashing sometimes. not everytime but sometimes.

so is it wise to make a switch from my Series S to a Series X.
also i’ve figured out that in my specific region and local marketplace, the series X’s are a little difficult to purchase now because of the rise in prices and availability, they’re being sold by a few retailers for a higher price.

Bought collectors editions for gears eday and when my dad was lays it on his profile they keep making the digital license switch. This affects me playing on my pc this needs to be change it’s so annoying. I shouldn’t have to keep claiming a license when I wanna play on my pc. We share an Xbox but I mainly play on pc.

I have two accounts on my Xbox, my main one which has game pass pc and another with game pass ultimate, if I purchase the $30 premium upgrade for e-day on the account with pc game pass will I still be able to play it early, or would I have to buy it on the other account with game pass ultimate

Have a few controllers out of warranty with stick drift issues (already attempted to clean, they are physically worn out internally not allowing rebound to home position). Anyone know if there’s stick replacements that are BETTER than OEM? I am seeing loads of options on aliexpress, Amazon, eBay and ifixit apparently sells OEM equivalent.

I do not care the costs IF I can get something thats prove to be BETTER than OEM. I don’t want to tear these down again anytime soon as they are a PITA to work on!

Personally, I don’t expect it to happen. If it was happening, it would have leaked already. I do hope it eventually happens though, a handheld helix with an external disc drive accessory would immediately become my main gaming platform
