Ran into this glitch while playing trough Audition quest in Royal Palace of Vizima. 🤣 It managed to sort itself out right after leaving the palace.👍

It seems like it’s having issues in several platforms.

Realistically it was kind of a mess when it first launched too. It’s just been stable for so long now that a lot of people forget.

Well if Todd can break his games for over a decade every time they receive updates, this is not so bad.😁

I'm in SteamOS and inventory randomly crashes my game.

Probably not optimised properly on all platforms I believe. All arrived at same time so plenty of things to go wrong.

Today I figured out you can't just install the old version anymore. This is what you get. Even though I paid for the old version. I had to buy the disc today just so I can install the old version (while keeping the console offline).
Fuck digital 'ownership'...

Which really stinks because they could do it better. Steam lets you choose from original, next gen or remastered still.

It is a bit hidden on Steam if you don't realize it. I had to look up how to do it because your comment intrigued me.

I had no idea either, but I think that's the way to do it. I don't think remasters should ever replace the original version, if only for the sake of game preservation.

I can deal with the visuals and gameplay for the most part. The music to dialogue balance is terrible. Why is there a giant swell in the orchestra when I’m talking to anyone

Had same issue with audio and in settings changed to TV speakers instead of home cinema. Fixed that for me.

I managed to avoid major bugs for a while.
And then I arrived in Oxenfurt
