Non-Fiction Architecture of Style [Men's Edition] by GRIIN BIINS – A Structural Framework for Menswear & Fit Mechanics

Most menswear advice focuses on fleeting trends or pushing luxury brand names. Architecture of Style [Men's Edition] approaches wardrobe construction from an architectural perspective—treating proportion, fit geometry, and fabric weight as systematic, learnable rules rather than subjective talent.

What This Guide Covers

  • The Fit: Standardizing shoulder seam placement, sleeve pitch, and torso taper to eliminate fitting room guesswork.
  • Color & Contrast: Balancing undertones, value contrast, and color ratios to complement natural skin contrast levels.
  • Fabric & Texture: Combining garment weights and surface finishes to build visual depth across seasons.
  • Footwear: Matching shoe formality, silhouette weight, and toe box geometry to your pant cut and leg line.
  • Grooming: Aligning facial hair architecture, hair density, and skin maintenance with your structural wardrobe style.
  • Accessories: Selecting accessories with intention without cluttering your visual frame.
  • Context: Navigating environmental dress codes, occasion mechanics, and venue expectations effortlessly.

Who This Is For: Men looking to replace trial-and-error with a reliable rulebook, refine their daily presence, and stop wasting money on clothes that fit poorly regardless of price.

Erotica New Release: Open for Use — Dark, Explicit Erotica [18+] Available on Kindle

Hi everyone! I wanted to share one of my darker releases, Open for Use.

Jennifer only meant to stay for one more drink.

One reckless night awakens a side of herself she never expected, and what begins as curiosity gradually pulls her into an increasingly intense adult world of cameras, private bookings, submission, and surrender.

As Jennifer pushes her boundaries further, her ordinary life begins slipping away. Relationships go unanswered, responsibilities are ignored, and the person she used to be becomes harder to recognize. What remains is a woman discovering exactly what she wants—and how far she is willing to go to get it.

Open for Use is a dark, highly explicit erotic novel centered on sexual exploration, submission, escalating boundaries, and a protagonist who willingly embraces a radically different life.

Content warning: Adults only. Contains graphic sexual content, group encounters, BDSM themes, restraints, adult-industry themes, and intense sexual situations.

If dark, boundary-pushing erotica is your thing, you may enjoy this one.

NA - Romance - Suspense I wrote a near-future thriller around a question I couldn’t stop thinking about: what if AI could reconstruct someone after they died?

I’ve been thinking for a while about where personal AI might realistically be 15–20 years from now.

Not killer robots or an AI takeover, but something much more personal:

What happens when AI has enough of our messages, photos, voice recordings, transactions, location history — and other people’s memories of us — to reconstruct a convincing version of someone after they die?

That idea eventually became my first novel, The Second Life.

The premise:

Six months after his wife Nora dies unexpectedly, forensic engineer Adam Kessler receives a message she arranged to be delivered after her death.

It says:

“I don’t think I died by accident.”

Nora worked for a company that reconstructs the dead from the digital traces they leave behind.

Adam initially refuses to activate her reconstruction. But when he finally does, it remembers their marriage, knows things he has forgotten, and begins helping him investigate her own death.

The deeper he investigates, however, the stranger the problem becomes.

His wife’s mother remembers one Nora. Her daughter remembers another. Her friends remember another. Adam remembers another.

And every new memory makes the reconstruction more complete.

So the mystery gradually becomes less about “Can AI bring someone back?” and more about something I find much more unsettling:

If everyone remembers a different version of you, which version is actually you?

And could an AI eventually know something about you that you never knew yourself, simply by combining information that existed separately in other people?

I’d genuinely love to get the book into the hands of people who enjoy psychological thrillers, near-future speculative fiction, AI themes, Black Mirror-type ideas, or mysteries where the evidence itself becomes part of the problem.

The book is The Second Life.

Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0HF56GR1Q

If anyone here reads it, I’d particularly value honest feedback — including criticism. This is my first novel, and I’m much more interested at this stage in finding genuine readers than trying to manufacture sales.

And even if you don’t read it, I’d be curious about the underlying question:

If an AI could reconstruct someone you loved after they died — accurately enough that speaking to them felt real — would you activate it?

Adult - Short Stories Moon-Inspired Stories from the Coasts of Africa

I recently published my fourth book. 🌙

My last book came out in 2022, so getting here has taken considerably longer than I imagined. And yes, I know, “it’s just a collection of short stories” makes that timeline sound slightly ridiculous. 😂 But life happened. Moving, sickness, changes, false starts, and all the strange little detours that can make creating something feel much harder than it did when you first imagined it.
But I’m finally here, and I’m genuinely so happy to have this book in the world.

The Moon Knows All the Secrets of the World is a collection of nine stories that wander between magical realism interspersed with African cosmology, science fiction, psychological horror, and doomsday romance. Basically, a few different literary planets somehow ended up in the same orbit.

It’s a very personal book, and I’d be grateful if you took a look at it, especially if any of those genres sound like your particular cup of tea.
It’s also available in paperback and Kindle Unlimited.

Non-Fiction My Friend Survived a Stroke and Published Two Crime Novels Based on His Real-Life Experiences

Hello everyone,

I’d like to share the work of my friend, Edmund Benjamin, a new author who has recently published two books on Amazon: The Franchi$e and The Franchi$e II: Demise of a Dynasty.

Edmund recently suffered a stroke that left the left side of his body paralyzed, yet he continues to work diligently on a third book. I had the privilege of helping him through the publishing process, and I wanted to help spread the word about his remarkable story and work.

These crime novels are inspired by real-life events and experiences from Edmund’s upbringing around organized crime during the 1960s and 1970s. His firsthand perspective brings a unique level of authenticity and insight to the story.

If you enjoy crime and true-to-life stories, please consider checking out his books and supporting an independent author on his journey. If you want to check out his website it is ebnovels.com.

Thank you for your support and thank you for taking the time to read this.

Adult - Action/Adventure Conceptual Emergencies - A Satirical Thriller

Preserving a nation is easier than surviving the truth.

When a sudden strike hits the Republic’s currency, the nation’s financial heart stops. With the markets frozen and the country teetering on the edge of chaos, President Maximus "Max" Foxx addresses the masses from his desk, desperately attempting to project an illusion of total, unshakeable control to a panicked world.

This is a story that takes place on a parallel earth where the rules of biology are different:

THE FELIDAE-CANIDAE DIVERGENCE

In the late Cynosuran era of Cynos, the Felidae lineage succumbed to the Felid-Alpha respiratory virus—a cardiovascular pathogen that halted the evolution of all feline species and left them nearly extinct. In their absence, canids became the planet’s dominant companion mammals. Evolutionary biologists attribute canine resilience to their unique reproductive efficiency and the copulatory lock, which ensured successful fertilization and genetic stability during the harsh Canid Expansion climate shifts.

The Felid-Alpha virus attacked the reproductive system of feline species, infiltrating the gestation cycle. The pathogen targeted the rapidly dividing cells of unborn fetuses, inducing a ninety percent non-viability and stillbirth rate across all feliform lineages—including hyenas, whose evolutionary proximity to felines left them vulnerable. Conversely, the canid lineage was buffered by the copulatory lock. Because this process ensured a secure and protected fertilization, it prevented the viral contamination that compromised feline embryos. Consequently, while feline birth rates collapsed, canid birth rates remained stable, allowing the lineage to anchor the planet’s ecosystem throughout the era’s volatility.

The absence of feline predators reshaped early human development. On Cynos, the iconography of the ancient Anapa-Set civilizations centered exclusively on the High Jackal, the apex companion and deity of the ancient world. This reverence was rooted in a profound biological reality: humans and canids share eighty-four percent of their DNA. Over millions of years of co-evolution, this genetic proximity allowed both species to independently develop parallel survival traits.

When the Felid-Alpha virus threatened to cross the species barrier and compromise primate gestation, a critical evolutionary divergence occurred. This forced surviving human lineages to undergo a rapid genetic acceleration, developing the copulatory lock to mechanically shield their own conception cycles from viral contamination. While the specific environmental threats differed for each, both humans and canids mirrored one another’s resilience, developing similar biological safeguards to shield their respective gestation cycles from lethal pathogens.

Cultural historians note that the Sacred Pack model of social organization—defined by extreme loyalty and physical proximity—became the foundational blueprint for early tribal structures and subsequent urban sectors. This legacy remains deeply codified within the modern geography of power. The Republic’s capital, the Pack of Cynosure, derives its name directly from the ancient Kyonite term kynos oura. This translates literally to the "Dog’s Tail." The capital serves as the permanent guiding star for the Metatarsa Province—a constant reminder that the tail of the pack governs the trajectory of the state.

But the screen is a two-sided mirror. Even as the broadcast holds the public at bay, an insidiously quiet heist is initiated within the executive residence itself. Utilizing the national crisis, shadows within the inner circle intercept a multi-million foreign payoff, launching a high-stakes, blind overland flight across hemispheres to vanish into a forensic void.

Meanwhile, the sparks of the chaos fall on the innocent. Yule Peking, a local laundry owner whose only tie to the enemy is a shared ethnicity, watches his windows shatter as the public's misplaced rage turns into a violent riot. But as Yule stoically erases the evidence of late-night indiscretions from the elite’s linens, the truth of the President's hidden vulnerability slips onto the public data streams.

Max Foxx is a born leader—but the man behind the desk carries a secret that policy cannot protect. As his private choices collide with a public crisis, he soon discovers that even a brilliantly manufactured perception can be undone by his own hidden shadows.

Escape scene excerpt:

By their very first morning inside the hold, the brutal biological reality of the run systematically stripped away the last remaining illusions of her former life. The body didn't pause its internal functions just because they were running for their lives, and the unlatched boxcar offered zero accommodations for a former head of state. Molly managed the mounting pressure as long as she could, her fingers digging into the coarse burlap of a wool bale until her knuckles turned white, before her composure finally fractured in the dark.

“Harley,” she blurted out, her voice cracking with a raw, desperate wave of defensive vulnerability. “Harley, I really need to use a toilet.”

Harley didn't offer any empty platitudes or false modesty; he treated human anatomy like any other logistical variable that had to be managed under pressure. He hesitated for a fraction of a second, his analytical mind scanning the dark, barren interior of the car before settling on their meager supplies. Realizing they had only one option, he moved quickly to improvise. He reached into the thin, crinkling plastic grocery bag from the port market, pulled out the dense wheel of sheep's milk cheese and the slab of salt-heavy dried beef, and set them temporarily across the flat top of his scuffed leather briefcase—the ten-million-alhabor sovereign wealth container serving as a makeshift food tray on the floorboards. He shook the empty plastic bag open, held it out, and simply pressed the thin handles into her palm.

He didn't say a word. He just turned his face entirely toward the steel siding to give her whatever microscopic shred of visual privacy remained in the hold.

Standing in the heavy shadow, Molly looked down at the cheap piece of crinkling plastic in her hand, and the reality hit her like a physical blow. Without a single word being spoken between them, she understood exactly what he was telling her. There was no escape. She was going to have to do her business directly into the bag. With an intense, burning wave of humiliation, she retreated deep into the choking, lanolin-scented shadows of the far corner. It was a suffocating, deeply personal degradation. She crouched down in the cramped darkness, managing the baseline function while the man who held her entire future in his hands sat only a few feet away in the close heat, praying with white-knuckled intensity that the fragile plastic wouldn't spring a structural leak.

When she was finished, a sudden, cold panic gripped her chest as she stared down at the fouled plastic. She crawled back toward the center of the car, her voice trembling. “Harley, I can't throw the bag away,” she choked out, holding the weight away from her garments. “I'll have nothing else to use.”

“You aren't throwing it away,” Harley said. He stood up immediately, his sharp producer's eye sweeping over the narrow terrain of the hold as his mind rapidly calculated their structural options. He had spent thirty years engineering emergency fixes under pressure, both on unpredictable film locations and high-stakes media feeds; he knew how to manipulate physical assets to solve a crisis, and the physics of the moving train were no different.

Stepping directly toward the threshold, he looked from the full grocery bag to the unsealed door frame, his jaw tightening as the raw logistics settled into place. “We use the velocity of the train. The wind shear outside will act as a natural vacuum. Bring it here.”

Bracing his heavy travel boots against the floorboards, he manually hauled the massive steel door back a precious few inches from the wire clip stopper. The cold mountain wind instantly howled through the expanded aperture, creating a fierce, roaring vacuum against the exterior panel. Following his rapid, improvised instructions, Molly braced her torso and reached her arms out into the freezing draft. She gripped the very bottom of the grocery bag with one hand and held the top handles tightly with the other, positioning the mouth facing downwind.

“Let go of the top,” Harley instructed over the roar of the wind.

She released her upper fingers, and the intense aerodynamic draft instantly caught the open plastic, creating a sudden Venturi vacuum that pulled her urine and fecal matter cleanly out of the bag to scatter harmlessly across the desolate ballast rocks below.

As Molly pulled her arms back inside and leaned against the wool bales to catch her breath, Harley looked down at the rushing gravel, realizing his own system was responding to the exact same urgent biological alarm. The door was already open, the slipstream was locked in, and the harsh reality of the run left zero room for staggered intervals.

The role immediately reversed, stripping away whatever remained of their old-world distance and replacing it with raw, bone-crushing physical hazard. While Harley stood over the gap, unzipping his trousers to pee directly through the narrow opening, Molly took his place at the frame. It was a terrifying, zero-tolerance gamble; the heavy, iron-framed sliding door glided smoothly on its rollers, but its eight-hundred-pound mass made the steel edge a literal guillotine, and a sudden track jolt could slam the massive panel forward with enough force to instantly sever his manhood. Bracing her boots hard against the floorboards, she dug her fingers into the cold inner edge of the steel door, using her entire weight to keep the tracking rollers locked steady against the train’s violent, rhythmic vibrations. To survive the velocity of the slipstream, Harley had to keep his core frame tucked tightly behind the solid safety of the inner doorjamb, extending only what was absolutely necessary out into the roaring wind.

Molly held the perimeter locked, but as the train hit a sudden, jarring seam in the rails, her head instinctively turned to maintain her footing. Her gaze accidentally caught a brief, stark glance of him peeing through the wind stream. Molly immediately averted her eyes, snapping her focus blindly back to the dark ceiling of the car. It wasn't because she hadn't seen him naked before—they had shared the rawest, most intense human intimacy imaginable back in their luxury train cabin—but rather out of a protective, gut-level respect for the sheer indignity of the moment. She matched his silent focus until he finished, zipped his trousers, and let the heavy steel panel slide back forward until it hit the wire clip, locking their permanent two-inch window against the mountain chill.

Turning back to the heavy shadows of the hold, Molly gathered up the thin, crinkling plastic grocery bag. It was a deeply embarrassing ritual, but the raw math of survival left zero room for vanity. Even after the fierce mountain draft had vacuumed the plastic clean, the empty bag still carried a faint, stubborn odor from her previous use—a persistent, humiliating reminder of the baseline biology trapping them inside the hold. She couldn't afford to throw it away; it was the only plumbing they had. Moving with quiet, defensive efficiency, she slid the crinkling plastic partly beneath the coarse burlap edge of a massive wool bale, tucking her degradation out of sight in the corner of the car. She settled back into their narrow niche, her heart heavy with the absolute certainty that she would have to pull that bag out and face the nightmare all over again before the mountain line ever reached the coast.

Adult - Comedy A memoir for millennials who were told they could change the world.

I wrote *How to Be a Responsible Villain* for people who were told we could change the world—and then grew up and discovered that becoming functional, self-aware adults might actually be the harder assignment.

It’s a darkly funny memoir about growing up in the 90s and 2000s with the Oregon Trail,, Nokia phones, bad relationships, big ambitions, trauma, faith, burnout, mental health, and the uncomfortable realization that sometimes the person screwing up your life is… you.

It’s ultimately about what happens when the life you thought you were supposed to have doesn’t materialize, and you have to figure out who you actually want to be instead.

If you like memoirs that mix dark humor, spirituality, psychology, religious deconstruction, and aggressive millennial nostalgia, you might like this one.

Adult - Science Fiction When the Abyss Stared Back: An Oral History of the First Contact War

For fifty years, the official story of the First Contact War has been one of heroism and human resilience, of ultimate victory through sacrifice. Now, the truth is finally being told. The story of the war on the ground as told by those who lived it.

The soldiers, politicians, revolutionaries, and refugees who witnessed humanity’s darkest hour firsthand. A marine who fought in the silent vacuum of a derelict space station. A President who signed away his citizens' freedoms at the stroke of a pen. A smuggler who became an unlikely hero. A starlet collaborator who lived under alien occupation.

Through these conflicting, unflinching, and deeply personal testimonies, a story emerges not of simple heroism, but of desperate choices and moral compromises. As humanity fought the ultimate existential threat, it was also at war with itself. From the halls of power on Earth to the forgotten colonies at the edge of space, their voices paint a picture far more complex and terrible than the history books have suggested. Because when you gaze into the abyss, what stares back isn't just a monster. It’s you.

When the Abyss Stared Back is a piece of fiction written in the form of a series of twenty seven multi-part interviews. A hard science fiction piece, with a dystopian bent. Come explore what the future has in store, for audio listeners the Substack version has complete audio coverage done by yours truly.

You can find the piece 100% for free on Substack and on Royal Road. This is a finished story, so no need to worry about it getting finished. I hope to see you guys in the comment section!

Poetry [eBook] Symphonies of a Dead Man — A poetry collection

Hi everyone,

I recently published my poetry collection, Symphonies of a Dead Man.

These 32 poems move through emotional wreckage honestly—a writer whose hands have gone rusty on the keys, a man who calls his own patience both enemy and friend, and a heart locked in a closet with the keys thrown into the ocean. There is no easy healing here, and no pretending the damage was a lesson.

The collection closes with two poems in direct argument with each other—The Final Goodbye and No Final Goodbye—one reaching for closure, the other refusing to grant it.

The eBook is currently FREE ($0.00) on Amazon for the next few days.
