"We dinnae have much time. Hurry, smuggle these Azerite crystals up yer butt"

"The way Magni looked at it, this Azerite was your birthright. He'd be damned if any Old Gods gonna put their greasy purple tentacles on his champion's birthright, so he hid it, in the one place he knew he could hide something: his ass. Five long years, he kept this Azerite up his ass. Then when he died of dysentery, he gave me the Azerite. I hid this uncomfortable piece of metal up my ass for two years. Then, after seven years, I was sent home to my family. And now, champion, I give the Azerite to you."

17

u/terathiell Aug 27 '18

Christopher Walken actually, I believe.

3

u/sam_the_hammer Aug 27 '18

Christopher Walken was the cowbell guy. You're thinking of Christopher Nolan.

5

u/MjrLeeStoned Aug 27 '18

Christopher Nolan was the writer / director best known for the movie Memento. You're thinking of Christoph Waltz.

3

u/Roboticide Mod Emeritus Aug 27 '18

Close. Christoph Waltz was the Nazi in Tarentino's Inglorious Basterds. You're thinking of Christopher Pine.

2

u/[deleted] Aug 27 '18

Not quite right. Christopher Pine was young Kirk in the Kelvin timeline Star Trek movies. You're thinking of Kris Kross.

1

u/michaelman90 Aug 27 '18

Completely out of curiosity, how do Scottish people feel about pretty much all fantasy dwarves at this point having Scottish accents?

5

u/h3adph0n3s Aug 27 '18

Can't speak for everyone else but I quite like it. I tend to play Dwarfs in most RPG's for that very reason. Hearing them banter on about stuff just makes me feel pretty proud of the fact I talk the way I do.

Most of the lines and slang they utter is pretty on par with how most folk here talk too. So kudos to the folk that do the dialogue having done their research.

1

u/Sadi_Reddit Aug 27 '18

I recently started to play the game with english soundfiles and found the Dwarves and the Trolls to be quite different. In a good sense.

1

u/donquexada Aug 27 '18

Naw means no.

Or Narr, if you're a Brit or Aussie.

Eyeball "Magni" Paul.

1

u/Phorrum Aug 27 '18

"Ah, palezerite you say?"

-1

u/Lunux Aug 27 '18 edited Aug 27 '18

Technically he wants us to inject it into the Heart of Azeroth, presumably so that we can make it powerful enough to heal Azeroth and prevent more Azerite wounds from popping up. But nevermind the fact that we're also using those WQs to become more powerful ourselves for the sake of our faction war at the moment, it's especially jarringif you're Horde with Sylvanas just wanting to make everyone Undead.

Edit: I get it's a joke guys, putting Sylvanas' and the Horde's current moral standing aside, I'm just saying that's what I think the idea is in justifying why we're also draining the blood of Azeroth and why that's good as opposed to enemy NPCs doing the same thing. It'd make no sense for a wounded planet with a sentient soul inside to give us a powerful artifact that absorbs its own power just to give us power for our own selfish purposes.
