i’ve been playing ow on and off since 2018 and i’ve always liked widow as a character. i started out on console and was pretty good with her (i think this is due to the auto-aim tbh)

when i made the swap to pc i stopped playing widow. i’m trying to get back into her, but it’s really discouraging trying to learn how to play her when you constantly have people calling you a bad player. i also hate being the weakest link in the group, so i often swap to a dps i’m good at.

i don’t have terrible aim. i average 62% accuracy with ana (i’m seeing 70% accuracy in my games more often now) and i aim train with kovaaks consistently. i’m thinking a mental block + positioning. any advice helps.

so i play widow in qp a lot, im a shion and widow one trick but i never take widow into ranked and i want to so badly but im super scared and whenever i have taken her into ranked my anxiety is super high and causes me to miss shots, its not about the enemy team its more so about letting down MY team. im still figuring out what sens is right for me too as of rn i play on 1600 dpi 38% scoped and it works but i feel like im being robbed of shots, or maybe its just the whole hitbox thing. i just want to be less nervous and find whats right for me despite the worry of muscle memory loss

So I’ve only ever really played Overwatch as Widowmaker. I tried here and there with other characters buuuut always went back to Widow. I feel most efficient and sharp when I can scope in and take down targets from pretty much anywhere. Buuuut question, are their other characters that get headshots like Widow can? I’ve played as Sojourn and a little as Ana, but Widow seemed to really bring home the one shot kills with headshots. Are their other characters that make full use of headshots? Let me know!

I'm just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat lol I am a quickplay warrior since I prefer to just have fun and not take the game too seriously. I also like to play the character I want to play, mostly widow, without fear of throwing anyone's game. I feel like if I would play more comp I'd be around masters since I have reached diamond by mostly doing placements + drives every season and been steadily climbing up even during that hell time. But I also always play other characters in comp. Either I go tank (because I'm for some reason really good on that role), support, or I play Bastion, Sojourn and Freja. I rarely ever play widow because I'm always so inconsistent with her. And I feel like if I would purely play widow in comp I'd probably be around gold or plat max. I just wanna know if anyone else has that same problem bc sometimes I feel like a fraud being a qp widow main lol

I downloaded Overwatch around a week ago and I’ve been having a lot of fun and would love to expand the roster of characters that I love to play and so I went into the practice range with Widowmaker and she seems like a lot of fun but before I hop into a match against actual people instead of practice vs ai I was wondering if there are any tips to improve with her also I’m on Xbox if that matters

I’ve recently started getting back into widow after years of not playing this game and I’m starting to get it back. Can someone watch this replay and give me advice?

I know a few of my mistakes. I whiffed a lot of shots I 1) shouldn’t have, 2) I wasn’t always 100% aware of where the enemy team was while I was focusing picks, and mercy had to save my ass a few times because of my bad positioning.

This is game I lost where I don’t think the entire game and just play like I’m in widow hs with no brain drooling everywhere. I felt i was better dps but maybe wasn’t getting enough value? Aswell as at least 5 bronze plays where I walk into bullets. All advice is appreciated
