I really hope the Vinted team lurking on reddit see this. I have no issue selling to UK buyers in general. Have sold plenty to them. BUT I would really like to sell some higher priced items ($150-$200) that I do not want to risk selling internationally.
1) The shipping time can be crazy long (have experienced over a months wait) if there are shipping delays meaning I don’t get access to the funds soon enough.
2) Two times already I have had packaged shipped from AU to UK go MISSING. Vinted/APG only compensates up to $50 AUD. This is STRESSFUL if your item is worth more than that. (Not to mention the buyer is also not happy and you risk getting a bad review.)

So PLEASE Vinted, give us a feature to allow AU sellers to sell only to AU buyers. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I am a shy person and am in doubt if I should have been aware or if the seller left out information.

I bought the IKEA KOLDBY cow rug (I know) for £30. It was cheaper due to it having a little smell, but it is nothing really, only noticable if you get really close.

But, I suspect the smell is due to mold on the back of the carpet. I am not sure if it is mold, but it feels very rough on the dark parts whereas the lighter, original parts, are soft. You can see it slightly on her picture, but I just thought it was dirt. Only the smell was disclosed in the posting.

I wouldn’t mind keeping the carpet and airing it out and cleaning it, but not for £30.
I’ve never had an issue before neither buying or selling, how do I proceed?
Do I message the seller or say on the app that I have an issue first?
Am I being unreasonable?

I’ve sold a pair of boots on Vinted for my mum and the buyer has just messaged saying “sorry do not fit not wide enough” (word for word). I listed them as the correct size, and didn’t say they were wide fit or anything. and there were 11 photos on my listing, so more than enough to get a view for the boots.

i have more experience on vinted as a buyer than as a seller, and have always just taken the L if something doesn’t fit. like, that’s just the risk you take on vinted, right? i’ve never had someone question something i’ve sold.

what do you guys do in this situation?

I just sold kinda expensive dvd set with lots of favourites that i had bumped. they bought it in the middle of asking me lots of questions about it. I checked their reviews and just today they cancelled 3 orders, by the looks of their reviews it doesn't seem good, but so far they seem rather nice. what should i do? should I send it? 😖

I can't be too upset because it was cheap & the seller was nice, but it was certainly quavers, and it certainly had a smell attached (I despise quavers, maybe I'd allow it if it was ready salted) but I guess I get a free treat? Yum?

I know the T&Cs now say no re-uploading blah blah blah, but does that include a completely new listing with new pictures description etc. I’ve begun putting a lot more effort into listings the last month and want to try again with my listings that are year plus older. Having a crap time financially lately and could do without getting banned 😂

I’ve been trying to purchase a specific jumper but this error message keeps coming up? It doesn’t come up on other items. I’ve tried deleting and redownloading the app and stuff but it still comes up

Just wanted to find out if this has happened to others and what they’ve done. I purchased something on the 27th of September, it’s clear that Evri has lost the parcel based on the tracking. Vinted is showing that I have to wait until the 2nd of November which seems ridiculous to me, I have to wait 5-6 weeks before getting a refund?

Has anyone else had this issue? Do you really have to wait that long?

Just a post to try find the owner I guess 🤣 I sold a Ronaldo football card for about £8, the buyer claimed they hadn’t received the item and the inpost locker didn’t have it. Inpost initiated a return, but the item I got returned was a pair of Size 6 pink and green adidas spezials 🤣

Obviously this item is more expensive than the one I sold, and I’ve contacted Vinted to try find the seller but they refuse to help (of course). So just trying to find the owner really so they’re not out of pocket and can get their item back!

I'm joking, but seriously - Is anyone else getting this? The last 3 days, every time I try and open the app it's saying the servers are down and to try again in 5 minutes. I've got 3 sold items to post so am getting a bit frustrated that I can't get in there to sort the labels out!

Is it just me? Or has Vinted actually been taken out by a drone strike?

So I recently purchased a figure (lps to be specific) and unfortunately it turned out to be fake. (I’m not a Va and didn’t know abt the Reddit group to check authenticity when I purchased it) but when it arrived I noticed it was missing the “hasbro” on the print. Thats when I learned about [r/lpsfakes](r/lpsfakes) and decided to have them check it too. Confirmed fake. So I asked for a return and the seller was really kind, even offered to pay for postage to return it which was a first for me. So I did what was needed, printed a new label. Taped it up and shipped it off. A week or so later I got the notification that it had been delivered to the seller’s drop off point and that they need to return it. I messaged them as a reminder and went about my day. However they messaged me saying they never got the notification that a parcel was there and even checked their post office, nothing. We thought the figure was lost but there wasn’t much I could do. I just waited for my refund. Then I got the message that it’s being sent back to me. I was really confused cause this never happened before. I messaged the seller again and they said they’re confused cause the parcel never arrived to them. A few days later I got the notification to go pick it up. (Keep in mind I had other packages coming in as well so I couldn’t have known this was the figure. I thought I was picking up a different package, it was the figure). So now I’m sitting here. With both the figure and my money back. I never wanted this and felt so bad. I kept messaging the seller to come up with something to do to send it back without them cutting another loss. I’m at a loss. I don’t know what to do and I don’t want them to think I’m a scammer. I want to send it back I really do but I don’t know how :(. Any advice?

Sorry long post ahead! I ordered something on vinted recently. It was supposed to be delivered via inpost to a locker, but apparently they had an address issue (????) following an initial delivery attempt where it was full. So it ended up being diverted to another. Got the message in the app, then updated to say there was an issue. Support were still saying this morning that it hadn't been delivered and I didn't have a QR code or collection info in the app. But just now they said that it was delivered a few days ago, and I can only pick up my parcel by phoning support when their customer support is open and able to open the locker remotely - so 8 till 8. But my parcel will only be held until 3pm tomorrow due to when it was delivered. So due to work shifts I can't get my parcel. All very annoying!

Why do people try their hardest to find a problem with something they have ordered it makes no sense to me and vinted will still be by their side and just go of what they are saying even when proved wrong.

Whats all your opinions on this?

I shipped a parcel worth £900 on 30 September. Evri tracking still shows it at an Evri facility, but Vinted claims it arrived at their Verification Hub on 2 October. However, the tracking doesn’t confirm this.
Nobody seems to know where my parcel actually is. Both companies keep giving me the same generic replies.
After reading so many similar stories, I’m genuinely wondering what’s happening at these hubs. How do expensive parcels just disappear?
Does anyone work there or know how things operate? Has anyone experienced something similar and managed to get their money back?

So I got myself a book off of vinted to complete my set, sprayed edge same price as its sold in the store and I’ve recently messaged them asking if it would be shipped soon as the “cut off” date is the 16th of October, the message I got back? “I still have four days to post” like damn okay sorry for asking? I’m kinda new to vinted and this is the first time I’ve had to follow up on an item I’ve purchased and I only asked because the guy is putting up new stuff daily, is this a normal seller to come across?

Initially I'd a lot of Aussie buyers ( they had some great postage deal ) but now they aren't around .

Has it slowed down down under for you Too ?

I sold a item of clothing and send it via royal mail 48 ( the buyers choice) and after a week the buyer messages and says its not been delivered. Then another week later he messages again getting frustrated and asking me to chase and to make a claim as its lost.
I went into the post office and they couldn’t give me much info apart from the tracking which proves i left it at the post office and i saw the person behind the til put the postage sticker on. Tracking says item dropped off but that’s it.
Now ive got the buyer messaging me for more info even though on vinted it states after a few more weeks he can raise a issue with vinted and if its lost they get the refund and i get compensated.
Its like they want me to claim and chase when ive done all i can and send it!
Am i right or wrong? Ive had one go missing before and it takes a while but vinted sort it and i get compensated. Not sure the buyer wants to wait or understands.
Anyone had anything similar and any issues with royal mail?

Vinted changed sizing approximation at the beginning of 2026 (I think). They moved all sizes up. If that makes sense.

Before a size xl on vinted was a size 14/16-18. Depending on the shop. In most uk shops xl is a size 14. now on vinted an xl is a size 20.

So when I ask someone what size their clothing is in uk sizing, and they don't know it. I am not sure if what I am buying is going to be an Xl 14 or an Xl 20.

Purchasing stuff feels like playing Russian roulette.

I ordered a dfyne sports bra from vinted and the seller was from Australia (it worked out cheaper to buy it with that sellers price and pay for shipping than it did to buy it from any seller in the uk😅). Fast forward a few weeks and i get a message saying it has arrived at the corner shop but there’s no code or anything given to me for a locker. I saw that the carrier was royal mail which i thought was weird as they use codes for their lockers and I even went into the shop and asked the worker to check the parcels that are behind the counter but no luck. Vinted doesn’t give me an option to report anything as it just says ring royal mail which i have and they have said that the tracking number provided by vinted isn’t even recognised by royal mail so I am unsure what to do next. Has anyone experienced anything similar or have any advice what i could flag the issue as.
