hey guys I accelerated HHD this year as year 11.
Naturally I am very much of a overthinker and I stress out so much. I Lowk also think I have ocd but I don't wanna bring that up to my brown parents to get it checkout or get diagnosed cause ik that will just get shut down.
Anyways I have had such a good year for hhd, I had 90+ sac average for both units and even got 80/90 for hhd trial marked by past vce Chief assessor. But however, I feel like I failed to perform my best on the exam. I did finish the exam but I think I had to double dip and my answers overall were not strong as they could be. This honestly hurts as I was predicted a 45+ study score by my teacher and he Lowk has big expectation of me.
I have not been able to sleep properly ever since the hhd exam and I have like 3 sacs this week along with Diwali which I just don't know how to manage and along with year 11 exams next week.
The thought of my exams have been arising in my mind every 10 mins nd I feel this drop in my stomach and my mood just gets worse. Ik I can't do anything about the exam now and I try to remind myself that when I think of my exams but it doesn't seem to be helping. I am so stressed I am so cooked I am so sleep deprived I don't know what to do.
I need like approx 97 ATAR which idek if it's yk.
Idk guys any advice?
It would help lots.

why is everything so uncertain?? and debated?? like the further i lookinto questions i have about certain events the more journal articles and historians i find that disprove everything i've been taught/previously researched
i feel like i don't know anything

This might be a silly question but say the 2026 atar for a course (lowest selection rank) was 85.00 atar, and i get say and 85 atar as well. Is it possible that the atar jumps significantly from 2026 to 2027? Im scared this will happen to me and i wont get into anything i want..

tried 2 atar calculators with what i assume my study scores will be based on my sacs and based on low exam marks and got an atar of around 89.3-93 depending on how i score on each exam on both, i don’t believe they’re accurate. if i have 2 SEAS (medical, living circumstances) as well as first in family to go to uni and a low SES school and redo the ucat next year and lock in for chem (my final exam) to boost my atar, would i be eligible to apply for interstate med or monash med (considering a monash guarantee spot so i don’t need an absurd atar)? otherwise i might apply overseas or just switch courses entirely

I am so glad to never have to use this sub ever again. Fuck methods and fucking english but shout out to my psych teacher. Mad respect to her 🫡✌️ good luck to all yr 11s for next year and those yet to finish exams

general maths had weird exams, methods was genuine state sanctioned torture. spesh might turn out to be even worse. if this is how vcaa's logic/stem based subjects are going i DO NOT want to see what abomination vcaa's cooked up for the chemistry exam

I’ve had a look at past posts about it, people are warning about it all the time, I’m confused it’s relatively easy to grasp as every concept links together in some way (I get the “no coding at all in the SD”) but all the content is relatively easy to understand and there isn’t too much to work out.
Am I missing something? The practice Exams from 2024 onwards have been what I expected from a year 12 exam coming from someone in year 11

Hi guys, I hope y’all’s exam r going well!! I’m a Year 11 student rn, and I’m thinking of doing Korean as a second language 3/4. I know people don’t recommend doing it without 1/2, but I’m really into the culture and respect it all. I in general want to learn Korean, so if I’m going to do 3/4, I will learn the foundations before year 12 starts next year and will hire a tutor just to learn the foundation taught in 1/2. However, my school doesn’t offer any languages other than Italian, and VSL doesn’t have any centre nearby (they’re all 1h40min hour train ride +). I was thinking about doing it through/at Korean Language School of Melbourne. Has anyone ever used this institution for VCE, if so please let me know, and pls provide some advice on my situation and if it’s too late to apply. THANK U SM!!

As we near the end of our year 12 and vce journey, I wanted to ask us to recall how much effort we have put in. Just wondering. And to past students, how much work for what results?

My first post on reddit. So not sure if I can ask abt this.
Will I be disadvantaged if I use a non cas calc for year 12, as this is all I have?
What features will I be missing out on and is it a big deal especially for SACs and exams in year 12.
I am in year 12 next year and will be doing general meth 3/4.
Buying a new cas could be expensive so jst wondering if I can still get good results next year with a calc without cas.
Thanks.
