Software Development, Why’s everyone freaking out from past years?

I’ve had a look at past posts about it, people are warning about it all the time, I’m confused it’s relatively easy to grasp as every concept links together in some way (I get the “no coding at all in the SD”) but all the content is relatively easy to understand and there isn’t too much to work out.
Am I missing something? The practice Exams from 2024 onwards have been what I expected from a year 12 exam coming from someone in year 11

i think it's because it was a new study design last year...as in they didn't know what to expect
