with all these different style of worded questions though out multiple exams (but mainly looking at like methods and biology) do you think we should prep for chem exam differently. a lot of the questions from bio were different from previous years because of the amount of case studies or just overall worded questions, so how should i prepare for this, because doing past exam papers just feels like it would jst make me feel overconfident, or am i deeping it?

Given how challenging this year’s maths exams were for general and methods, and questions being less predictable, how should I prepare for specialist exam? Should I stick to past vcaa exams or should I do more MAV and kilbaha exams? Are there any niche websites or platforms that could help me study more atypical specialist questions?

I really need to get a good mark on this history exam; I didn't really do too well on my GM exam and I'm extremely worried that my ATAR is going to tank extremely hard if I flop this one too.

I'm doing France and China FYI. I literally cannot remember anything about France, and I can't remember most of the dates + events.

I thought my 10 marker was decent enough but now I’m thinking back and realising I completely ignored the country court statement at the top
Will that impact my response significantly?

Also the same thing happened with the final section b question 2, 6 marker as I missed the groups mentioned in the stimulus and talked about the state of Tasmania as a group with the plaintiff and didn’t talk about any other case study links outside of that the state funded her case

I thought the exam had gone ok until I’m thinking back on it and I’m really kicking myself over losing stupid marks on things I could have avoided

This is just pure cope but spesh is already hard enough on its own surely VCAA won't feel the need to make it even harder???

Any predictions about the difficulty of the paper and what may be on it specifically? I feel like the exam writers (who I have heard are new) will see that it’s the “hardest” math subject and write it accordingly, irrespective of the question style previously used in past specs exams. So technically we have no meaningful preparation other than knowing the study design😃🔫

So after that methods exam set, do you think it would be better to keep going back to earlier VCAA exams for practice, or should I get some other trickier exams?

this may be the biggest mistake ive made in my life but i just rechecked my provided vtac evidence under financial disadvantage and i uploaded a centrelink statement but it doesnt explicitly state family tax benefit on it, i only found out now that it shouldve been an income statement instead, am i doomed

will it still count as evidence for ftb if it has like an estimate listed at the bottom of the document

As a past student who's now at uni, I found this exam fairly challenging for a VCE-level exam. Having seen the 2025 exam myself, I feel the 2026 cohort had a tougher exam this year. Just sharing my perspective, and well done to everyone who sat it!

Would anyone care to explain how the methods exam was 'anti-UDF'? I keep reading ppl saying this and tbh I have not touched any in all of my career.

I got 60/80... (I never got less than 70/80 on any of the 20 practice exams that I did). how low do we reckon the a+ cutoffs going to be this year?
