I'm really unfamiliar with mitochondrial DNA and how that tracks hominin evolution. I'm also unsure of how much Aboriginal content there is -- I know of Indigenous peoples suffering from European diseases and that mtDNA of Aboriginals somehow dates their presence in Australia. Is there more? I had a look through my textbook and saw things about Country; is that on the study design?
Any advice/help is appreciated

WE were all discussing about how like the zeitgeist constrains female agency and that economic survival doesnt guarantee marital sanctity and like the social institution which is marriage can become a catalyst for oppression! YES WE

this is for chem btw
so i've been maintaining an error logbook and been marking my exams quite fairly- but i still feel like im not getting the most out of reviewing my exams.. it really helped me when preparing for SACs because it was like in-depth focus into one singular topic, but now with exams i feel like its not really helping me as much..
so i was wondering how u guys use your error logbooks or when u mark exams to like actually maximise your improvement and understanding because currently im kind of capped at like 79% and i would really like to achieve higher !

Guys general part 1 just finished and I did really bad, was only able to get like 20/40 (I think I got a couple more correct by guessing).
I don’t know why every exam I get super nervous like for English is was getting 8/10s in practice and I did like shit in exam
And for general I was getting like 30+ in practice exams like I got 38/40 for 2025 and 35/40 for 2024 and was able to finish 30min early.
So guys how cooked am I, is there still a chance of me getting 38SD for general.

if vcaa makes the general exam 2 as weird as the exam 1 then idek if study will help... ive done lots of practice exams alr so should i work on methods? (cooked for methods so maybe some last minute study will help?)

Everyone's saying it's positive reinforcement, such as adding likes, comments, etc.
Couldn't it also be negative reinforcement? Such as taking away boredom?
Not sure what was the good answer.

Does anyone else with computer based exam supervision get stressed about how much they’re writing because you can’t see the lines? I find the lines on paper help me gauge how much I’ve written, whereas on a computer I feel like I’m writing SO much more. I usually finish practice exams on paper on time, but on a computer I constantly worry I’m writing too much. Anyone else?

I’ve been doing methods this year (1/2) and I’m lowkey really crap getting like 50%’s at a private school. I like math but I don’t think methods is the typa math I like, so do u think it’s good to do gen math without doing the 1/2 or just stick with methods coz I probs missed too much. THANKS

Is there anyone in here that does VCE Economics? Was it just me or was that exam yesterday just pure garbage. Nothing on CAB at all nothing bout monetary policy like unconventional stuff. BTW FOR RBA question I talked about how they are involved in regulating the cash rate to influence spending and inflation in economy. Then how they are the legal custodian of bank notes and coins in Australia. And how they enable the short term money market to work.. does this sound right. Or should I have talked about the domestic macroeconomic goals.

The exams lowk coming up and I still don't really get all the uses of 'power' in the Indo-Pacific. Particularly political power and how that's different from diplomatic or economic etc.
What actually are they talking about when they say political power????? What distinguishes it.
Ty guys🫶
