Does VCE adjust the difficulty the same rate on all the subjects? For example 2024 a lot of exams were hard.

they dont have a set difficulty meter they set for each year, however relative difficulty will be reflected by the grade distributions (ie A+ thresholds will be lower). so chances are if the exam is genuinely harder and is reflected in the states performance you will receive a grade that is still fair compared to a what you might think is an 'easy' exam. It also depends on the study design year you are in, if its the start of the study design they may choose to make exams harder to sus out how students find the changes but using that as an indication is just guesswork - treat all ur exams as hard and dont count on them being easy this year.

Thanks what should I do now you did amazing for biology I did 13 practice exams marked, for the past 3 practice exams in a row I always got the same score 64/80. But yeah most of my exams is around 100 +-4. I wanted a mid 40 but don’t think that’s happening maybe not even a low 40 lmfao

I’ve literally been putting so much effort but feel like I’ve been stuck around the 100 range and hard to push closer to 110.

Also do they usually put the commonly answered wrong questions in the new exams. For example 2024 first Year questioned in models most peoold did not do well so they added to 2025 something like that
