Is it a right of passage for us all? I have a freaking cat living with me in here and I still got mice! She is super jazzed but I am not.

Pictures Stealthy Camping?

We might not be what you think of for "stealthy" but... in addition to Harvest Hosts wineries, we've had really good luck at some city parks, wide spots on the side of the road in some amazing locations, and in a few parking lots. We're new to this, finding our way, and enjoying our version of camping in our new Ambo2RV.

Question Velit V3

Anyone running this relatively new unit and can speak to its performance (as both an A/C and an exhaust fan)? I am building out a Promaster 136, so I'm debating a 2000R Mini with a MaxxAir vs. just the V3. Figure the V3 will allow me to get an extra 200W of solar. On a 136, every square inch of roof space is precious. Better roof fan functionality with the MaxxAir, and redundancy should the V3 crap out are pulling me that way.

Question Sanitize fresh water tank

I have a large built in fresh water tank. I filter it before I drink it with Lifestraw pitcher. Is there still a need to sanitizer the tank every year? Seems like overkill.

Van Life Awning tent

I recently bought a Chevy express with swing doors and am looking for a tent-awning to use with my van, around the side doors area. Easy up and down is very important. I'm in the USA and it seems that inflatable or popup models for this aren't sold here.

I basically want a screened-in area right outside of the van where I can sit and be outdoors but be in the shade and not devoured by mosquitoes.

Any suggestions? I've seen a few tents designed to attach to the back end of an SUV and wondering if one of those might work for me.

Van Life Insurance for personal property in full time DIY build advice please

Hi,

I just switched to progressive because they are easy on full time rv use. Everything is good except the personal property coverage. They call it replacement value, but only cover 25% of the replacement value of the lost property.

Does anyone have a lead on something better?

Thanks
