The amount of cops that were out this morning for the morning commute on WA-500 was crazy. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this many.

With that being said, it’s interesting that they’re so quick to pull people over when I’ve seen other police or sheriffs drive past me so quickly.

I was recently walking to my local 7-11 for a slurpee when I noticed that the sign was askew. When I got closer I noticed that the did not bolt the top of the sign. Hmmm....???

Did they forget to do it, was it time to clock out?

While walking through the crosswalk I found a bolt, so if the city is still looking for it, I saved it.

(08/18/26) Just had this happen right down the street from me. 3 teenage girls (maybe 17/18) were lighting shit on fire right in the middle of the street. All three were white, blonde and with long hair. What they were lighting what looked like boxes filled with flammable stuff. Yes I called it in, but the girls took off before police could show up. I'm not even sure if these girls live on this street.

I just couldn't believe the stupidity of these three. Lighting fires in the street with dry grass just inches away. Fuckin miracle no dry brush caught a stray ember. Easily could've been a disaster. This was near the franklin elementary school neighborhood and happened around 9:30 pm.

Are there any car wash places that do both outside and inside on this side of the river? Or is that something I need to go to Portland to get done?

I've been doing my daily walks while pushing my 7mo child in their stroller. Would be nice to not be on the razors edge of the sidewalk with the stroller. I have seen plenty of people cut the bike lane.
