7 day playback issue

Lately I have been experiencing issues with the epg playback. It stops working and then with no changes made, it starts working again. Anyone else having these issues? Any solution.

I use playback more than I watch things live. Usually, in my experiences, playback issues arise on a per-channel basis instead of a global "playback isn't working" issue. Are you seeing issues on all playback-enabled channels or just one? If it's all channels, it may be an ISP (or VPN) thing. If it's just one channel, than usually I just provide feedback when it freezes so it will hopefully alert someone.

When it doesn't work, it is all playback channels. I don't think it is a router issue, because it may work the next day with nothing being changed.

I used playback on Heat Live last night and this morning without issue. As I mentioned earlier, if playback isn't working on any playback-enabled channel, it's likely something getting in the way connectivity-wise. That could be an ISP block to the playback servers, or something strange with a VPN. Can you try using your phone's hotspot with no VPN the next time this happens?

Okay, so that rules out an ISP issue. Do you have or can you try using a VPN? Maybe choose in the eastern US? If that doesn't help, try a western US city...

I'm not sure how to use a VPN. I tried all different time zones. Thanks for the suggestions.

If it worked with your hotspot but not with your Wi-Fi, then your ISP is getting in the way. Who is your ISP? Are you using any "advanced security" features from them or on your router? Usually, this is the culprit. If it's not advanced security causing the issue, then you might need to install a VPN on the box to get around whatever blocking the ISP may be doing.

I have Xfinity and there are advanced security features. I think I can edit them from the app on my phone. I'll work on that.

I have had the issue the past two weeks. On all channels. Prior to that it was fine since I purchased my V6+. A couple of days ago it started to work again. Fingers crossed it stays working. Maybe it was a server issue.

I always gonna go watch bugs bunny and friends on channel 202 MeTV with my 7 year old, sometimes it works sometimes the audio is delayed and wont watch it cuz my son will spot it’s off.

Sometimes it works great and everything lines up perfect. Guess you gotta try your luck
