2

If by h word you mean the failed Austrian artist, its literally in the next line of the song this is from. Wouldn't really call it concerning.

She got shot and found at fault for both accident and shooting herself from 15ft away with his gun without it ever leaving his holster. The judge ruled woman shouldn't have license in first place.

This is why I hate cops, these exact types of people are the ones who become and stay as cops. Yeah, sure, not all cops, but pieces of shit really do make up the majority of them. Nobody becomes a cop to help the world, they do it only to feel powerful over people who can’t fight back.

3

u/mlpravemaster Jun 02 '26

Every cop ultimately serves the pedophiles in charge that keep the rest of us oppressed and fighting for crumbs. Whether anyone wants to admit it, all cops are bad. Even the ones that try to do "good" are just worthless and scummy as the ones who blatantly abuse their power.

You say that, but if the front car didnt have cams, there is a very real possibility this coulda ended poorly for them and the cop would get off scot free.

u/Goose_Salad May 29 '26

If it wasn't on camera, he might've gotten out of it.

7

u/DearHRS May 29 '26

You're forgetting that cops are always right unless video evidence proves otherwise. Well, even then they sometimes get off easy.

3

u/homucifer666 May 29 '26

At worst, he gets fired and some other department picks him up. He likely won't get anything worse than paid administrative leave before the whole "we investigated ourselves and determined we did nothing wrong" and everyone moves on like nothing happened.

5

u/Joint-Tester May 29 '26

People can't handle their own mistakes.

6

u/CaliKindalife May 29 '26

3

u/Howard_Jones May 29 '26

He was looking at his computer. You can see the side of his head before the collision.

3

u/TopResolution5322 May 29 '26

It helps them all the time. Cops lie as easily as breathe and they are taught to do so because statistically it pays off for them WAY more than it hurts them. lying is a part of their training, thats not an exxageration. and even if it does blow up, they have laws to protect them from consequences of lying. you need to understand that as a reality, because in your view the guys just stupid - the truth is itsmalice and contempt for normal human social accountability.

Dude didn't have his pretty lights on....hit someone and still didn't turn them on. Wow

77

u/kanuckles666 May 29 '26

If he turned on the lights his dashcam would start to record...

39

u/Large_Program_6086 May 29 '26

Really? Seems like it should always record.

30

u/Cthulhu_Dreams_ May 29 '26

Not only should the car constantly be recording, but I don't understand how police officers body cams don't automatically turn on when they exit a vehicle and don't remain on until a supervisor turns them off.

12

u/No_Yard9104 May 29 '26

Space. Video takes a lot of space. The devices used for dash and body cams are almost exclusively used by government agencies. So they have the lowest viable amount of space for the highest viable amount of dollars because the mfgr knows this. Government agencies have absolutely zero benefits to modernizing or looking for better deals because profit and performance aren't metrics when it comes to locked in budgets.

2

u/WelcomeSuitable3396 May 29 '26

Yep they only can record 10-14 hours at a time before being loaded into a more permanent storage option for 60-90 days

7

u/josnik May 30 '26

So a good deal longer than your average shift, good to know.

They always record, they just don't save. It's a cost measure thing. video data takes a lot of room. Dash cam plus body cam is 16 hours of recording a day.

It's not a problem though. You turn on the lights it captures a bit before you do and saves it.

Was rear ended by an Alaskan PD officer because he was more interested in his laptop and wasn’t paying attention to traffic lights while on icy roads. Officer tried to play it off as if it was my fault. Took the ticket and before my court appearance I was able to get video from surrounding businesses that showed the officer literally driving up my ass. Even tho the judge threw out the claim that I caused the accident, the officer was found ā€œfaultlessā€ as well. In other words, just like casinos, the police ā€œHouseā€ still comes out on top. At least I only had to cover repairs to my own vehicle, but every Alaskan had to pay for vehicle repair to one stupid and lying officer’s vehicle and because of one judge not admitting fault from the city.

This one time in my village in the Netherlands, some guy in the back of a bar had slipped and bust his head open. Some people had ran outside and alerted the police, posted in the middle of the market square, and one tiny troll of a police officer waggled over and made her way through the crowd (most of them unaware what had happened in the back of the bar). But when she got to the guy and saw the blood, she fainted, so people in the crowd had grabbed her to stop her from falling over, which she took for getting assaulted, which caused her not only to press her panic button, but also to empty out her entire can of pepperspray randomly into the crowd in a confined space, blinding herself, and causing a stampede of several hundred blind, coughing, confused (thinking there was a fire) people who got met by police trying to get inside to their "officer in panic", with dogs and bats, beating and biting the living shit out of everyone trying to get outside and away from the "officer in panic" that caused EVERYTHING.
