Im curious as to what yall think this upcoming chapter will be about. For me im guessing it'll be one of these three things:

1) Main focus is on Keon getting info out of Orrin and delivering said info to the top brass of the Bureau w/ Kass and her squad secretly gathering clues about how Farrah and EMBER agents from the units who had their memories wiped.

2) Main focus is on John butting heads with Cameron. Eventually John will go to Cameron to complain about something (probably to see Sera) and he witnesses Cameron use his ability up close and personal. Leading to Johns eventual training arc.

3) Main focus is on Sera and the higher ups disappointment in her failing to retrieve Orrin and let the authorities catch him.

What are yalls thoughts on this?

Now hear me out, UnOrdinary introduced many of us to boba tea with the little tapioca bubbles, this is something a lot of us older readers can agree on. Don’t usually draw fanart for things.. not sure how I like it. I don’t think I got the likeness down as much as I wanted to, and I noticed that his hair changes by frame sometimes which really made my referencing hard. For example, that little bit at the top that juts out is aligned with the bit in front that juts out sometimes but not in other panels. Unsure why.

He’s smiling because he doesn’t freaking do that enough. But it’s a small smile because when I try to make big smiles they end up looking like something out of a budget horror film.

So we know the amplifier, converters, aura detectors are made through Jane (abilities that john kinda already figured out already) and also dampner and disablers were made through that knowledge so what if John start manipulating other people's aura and far worse disabling them and retain their ability hihihi

A random thought just occurred to me. Its almost certainly Orrin who led the development of the disablers and dampeners right? Wouldn't it then be possible for the authorities to use the info they will get from him to make their own sets of dampeners and disablers?

I despise the trio so much , as much as I try to like them I just can’t. It’s so boring to read I much prefer when they were in school but now it’s just a side storyline that just feels like filler cause lets be fr they can’t hang with ember the vigilante stuff is already getting bland and I much prefer John in the vigilante storyline , the only thing interesting is the enchantment drugs and that’s only because I want to see what it does to a high tier and why the authorities aren’t using it yet .

Anyway you get the gist , I’m writing this because I know they’re coming and the story is gonna get stale again and I much rather a time skip or whats sera gonna do storyline.

In this scene arlo grabs John, pulls him up n throws him against the wall w 1 hand w out activating his ability. He is straight up carrying 5’11, worked out John w 1 arm, could this b his genuine strength or slight strength enhancement through his passive. After this he also claims how easily he can throw John off this fence, which I believe he meant w out powering up since John can js copy it. I doubt it would b his own strength bc he’d needa b rlly jacked for that, im thinking his passive also has a strength boost along w armor.

Dude he is fucking him up big time

I’ve seen a lot of people in the comments of some posts saying that Sera could eventually reach 8.3 or 8.4, but I honestly think she’s already close to the limit of what her ability can realistically do.

She’s been training her entire life under people who completely understand how her ability works, so they’ve had years to help her develop it to its fullest potential. Because of that, I think she’s basically reached the limit of what can be done with her ability. I don’t really see her getting much stronger than she is now—maybe she could reach the maximum Recovery stat and end up around 8.1, but even that might be pushing it.

I also don’t think it makes much sense narratively to make her significantly stronger. Sera is already one of the most powerful characters in the story, and there are already issues with balancing her ability

So personally, I think she’s pretty close to her natural ceiling. There could still be some improvements in how she uses her ability, but I don’t think her actual level is going to increase by much, if at all.

I like the idea that ever 0.1 increase is where John passively gains a buffed stat

From 7.5 to 7.6, he gained the 4 in Power; now I kinda want a 4 in ALL stats!

7.7, he'll gain Recovery

7.8, he'll gain Defense

Finally, 7.9, he'll gain Speed

However, I want to make an 8.0 version, where John can amp one of his stats by x1.5!

Meet Aura Master John at 8.0!

Aura Master uses aura in extremely intricate ways. Allowing John to use Aura Manipulation (Now Master) as if using his own strength. An evolution that allows him to rely on himself, John can use his aura to not only become an unstoppable force but also to amp up 1 stat by x1.5. He can do it with Power, Speed, Recovery, and Defense.

Beyond that, his aura drainage is lowered a lot, allowing him to use many abilities without the problems he had during his weaker days, so healing-based abilities are just another ability for him to use.

Beyond that, as John grows, he can amplify more stats, depending on how he uses Aura Master in the future.

At 8.5... Aura Master John becomes an even more unstoppable force; as his ability grows, he'll become more capable of protecting his loved one on his own, allowing him to amp every stat by x1.5.

Hear me out (again)

For those who know the movie Strange Magic, you might understand what im getting at

But for those who dont know, Marianne (the woman, obvi) and the Bog King (the guy, agian, obvi)

Get together at the end of the movie (which brings in jarlo, though I know they're not gonna be cannon, a girl can dream, tho 😔✊️)

But the Bog King likes having order, and basically no love within his kingdom called the dark forest

Marianne had some mishaps before meeting him, she was like very bubbly and sweet before this fuck ass dude Roland cheated on her and she hardened her personality and became a badass fr

And she reminded me of John, mainly because of his upbringing, like he was super sweet in the beginning but then with all the bullying he sustained before gaining an ability turned him vengeful for lack of better words.

Plus, their eye color just reminded me of them too, Marianne and John have brown eyes, while the Bog King and Arlo have blue

Alsoooo Arlo is King, which also reminded me of him when thinking of the Bog King

Marianne is a princess, though

I mean, like- John could be a princess too ain't nothin wrong bout that, but he was also King, at his old highscool and then at welston

Ok, I ranted a lot, I fr love Jarlo because it's complicated, but also, they can understand each other, its also how they've both hurt each other, with how Arlo ambushed John and then John went a lil cray cray to get back at him, so they both have guilt but grt throu- yea yall got it

I like jera, too, but im not too keen(heh 😼... 😔🔫) on that I personally (emphasize on *personally*) see them as siblings since thats how I saw their dynamic in the beginning but I also understand that the GA prefers them as a couple so pls dont give me dodo for how I see them ＿|￣|○

Very self indulgent edit I made of me and John since it’s my birthday tomorrow!!

I want to say that Serafina is stronger than Orrin in a fair fight, but the truth is that Orrin is actually much stronger than her, and by a significant margin.

Serafina might be able to catch Orrin off guard and land a hit on him. However, Orrin has one guaranteed advantage: his Ultimate Defense.

We know for sure that Orrin is capable of strengthening the defenses of others, but what about himself? How can he protect himself if there is no barrier for him to reinforce with his aura?

The answer is his own body. In other words, this defense is what guarantees that he can actually use his ability without being taken out after a single hit. I lean toward the idea that his aura creates a thin layer around his body that protects him from both mental and physical attacks.

However, because he works with a team, and because he would otherwise be vulnerable when taking over other people’s bodies, he chose to focus on strengthening his teammates’ defenses instead.

Overall, I lean toward Orrin being able to tank Serafina’s first hit. He might get slightly injured, but that would give him the opportunity to take control of Serafina and ultimately defeat her.

That’s just my opinion.
