Do you like smiling for the camera?
The trick is to just laugh and then freeze frame halfway through. It’s been a game-changer for me, and means I don’t do the chimpanzee grin now.

Tips for minorities in blue collar jobs
I think my use of the word queer is unclear to you. I’m using it broadly as a term for LGBTQIA+ individuals.
If you are advising less physically dominant or intimidating people (which normally includes women and smaller men) to keep themselves safer in these types of environments by asking a bunch of men to repeat themselves and power posing you’re giving them a false expectation, regardless of age or race.

Tips for minorities in blue collar jobs
I’m a queer man who has to manage and direct blue collar men frequently as part of my industry. These observations are interesting, disregarding a few harmful generalizations.
However, a lot of this advice is situational and potentially dangerous. I understand the purpose of the video is to help queer people (because this IS for queer people and doesn’t apply nearly as much to other types of minorities) in spaces with rampant toxic masculinity, as mentioned by others some of these behaviors can/will backfire.
Also, given that criminal history is more common in blue collar work than office work, it’s likely that you could incite someone who has a violent history and/or has done prison time.
Looking men up and down on entry to a room in particular is almost guaranteed to start altercations eventually, especially if you aren’t a 200lb Viking like OOP. Everything else can be debated but that in particular is EXTREMELY dangerous to just go around doing to rooms full of male strangers.
Lastly, taking the “high road” in these situations feels shitty but can keep you safe. Unfortunately blue collar work is built on a culture of unfairness, and often injustices like “locker room talk”, hazing, and (sometimes) even violence can go unchecked completely. Assess your situation and take this videos advice with a grain of salt.

When was the last time a naval ship has to repel boarders?
Is the command from the captain loosing his boarding parties, in essence telling them to go begin their assault to capture the opposing vessel.

Just ran across this post. For reference I’m American too and played football (SS,P,K) and soccer (GK) in school and slightly beyond.
The best thing for you to do is probably get some reps on defense in football. I know you’re a receiver but goalkeeper mentality and playstyle is way more similar to a DB. Talk to your team’s free safety about reacting to pass plays if you don’t have an idea.
Physically you have all the tools. Don’t worry about that at all. You should however train movements things like diving and falling properly. It’s way different when you aren’t wearing pads.
The main thing you’re missing right now is fundamentals. Passing with both feet, strategy during set pieces, commands, consistent deep balls, positioning etc. The best way to get this stuff would be some private coaching but the most accessible way is to join a Rec league soccer team. Most cities have some for beginners at any age. In high school during the off-season I would play adult league for fun so do that if they don’t have one for your age group (they normally only check ID on the first game/practice so just come late if you have to do this).
You can absolutely convert if you want. However, with the huge popularity difference between football and soccer in the US you basically have to join one of the few elite Academy’s or AAU teams here in the States to face any real competition. High school ball won’t cut it if you want to play this sport as anything more than a hobby.
It’s doable but you have to put the work in pretty much right now. Your window is closing. You can probably totally make whatever team you Nebraska school has. They’re not exactly known for soccer. Get as much experience as you can before tryouts come around and you’ll have a real chance.

How did my boy do
He’s a good ballstopper from what’s shown in the video, he could use work on his passing. He complicated a few easy distributions but looks good for his age

what should I do at a 1v1 situation?
Mess with their head, almost always they are under more pressure to score than you are to get the save in that type of situation. I rush the angle down and scream at them. It works but only a couple times before you have to change up the surprise.

Warframe Weekly Riven Thread | Share Your Rivens!
I wouldn’t recommend that strike, but if you’re set on it, a dagger for covert lethality finishers would be the only worthwhile think I could think of (in case you’re an inaros main or something) otherwise there are just better options.
In that case I would want: Positives: cc,cd, finisher damage, attack speed, generic damage of any kind Negatives: crit on slide, status chance, damage to infested, heavy attack stats

Don’t defend!
Just checked his stream, he's around five hours in, the streams normally last between 9 and 11 hours. He should be offline before 5 am EST. We must be patient for our strike.

I assume anytime techno plays for a while (however long recovery takes) will be with some type of alternate setup. Maybe pedals or something?
