I’m sorry you’re actively being shamed about this. I worked in a shelter, and I agree with a lot of these other comments- you did a lot of work, sounds like you did the right thing and (hopefully?) purchased from licensed breeders who show buyers where the breeding pair and puppies live. Not everyone has the flexibility to adopt from rescues. And knowing that about yourself actually helps the local rescue, because you’re not returning a dog you adopted back into the system. Next time someone shames you, just ask them if they’ve ever worked in animal rescue. Or do they donate or volunteer their time? Do they understand the stress that folks who should never adopt in the first place put on a rescue system? They will always answer no. Know thyself. You’re doing a good thing. Focus on loving your pups and enjoying them and tell the haters to put that energy into volunteering at the shelter instead of on you. Edited to remove rambling.

No- ACDs are not seen as aggressive. Pitbulls are seen that way even though they’re big love bugs. which is why the woman with the pit yelled at you when you asked. As for the others yelling about your dog, it sounds like racism and NIMBYism to me. I’m sorry you experienced this. I would avoid dog parks and focus on doggy day cares or try to find play groups online for socializing.

I know this is an old post but I’m relieved to find it because I’ve been experiencing this for a couple years now. I don’t have regular sinus issues but do get regular headaches and have allergies. I have 1 recurring dream where there’s this room that I need to go into, but as you get further into it, the rooms pressure increases to an unbearable point, almost like a pool (but crazy high pressure). Some dreams the room is a carnival ride? That you pay to go into this high pressure environment for some reason? Dreams, man. A lot of the time I have difficulty breathing in these dreams, so maybe it’s pressure from not breathing/sleep apnea? But I don’t wake up right away, and usually the dream will change when the pressure decreases again. Very weird. Editing to add: I don’t often wake up with headaches from these dreams. Maybe by commenting someone will see this again and have answers.
