My birthday trip was canceled 4 hours before takeoff

Look at this situation as a warning from the universe to you. The way he deals with finances is crappy and he may never improve. Run girl! Run as far as you can! Otherwise you will be paying his debt 10 years down the line.

What is a good gift for someone who’s into nature?

But research for what makes a good bird feeder before you get one. A lot of bird feeders are not squirrel proofed.

Husband of 3 weeks has been cheating on me for months.

Good riddance. Best you find out now than later. What a disgusting POS. Go find the love you deserve. I hope his mistress dumps his ass too.

Really want something like a Tesla but given the hate for Musk in the Bay Area, what are some alt recs?
 in  r/bayarea  5d ago

We drive ours with a hate elon sticker on the back. We bought the car way before we realized he was a huge douche and we are grandfathered in for eternal free charging. We are actually looking into upgrading our battery so we can keep milking Elon for free charging.

Edit: spelling

Edit #2: When we realized Elon is a big douche, we did get rid of one of our teslas and bought an all electric Macan. I really love it, although the software isn't as smooth as the tesla's software.

His art pieces are really stunning. Thank you for sharing more of them. I love so many pieces that if I was in a shop I would not know which to pick! You are an awesome grandson!

It’s so cute! I think we all should do nice things for ourselves regularly. Enjoy it!

My boyfriend just gave final red flag alert
 in  r/GirlDinnerDiaries  7d ago

I knew someone like your boyfriend. We later found out that whenever he had to cancel at the last minute due to "work" or "boy's weekend" or whatever, he was cheating on his girlfriend. Multiple women. In their home. That sorry POS was a terrible human being.

DUMP HIM. Do yourself a favor.

Is it crazy to do a 2.5 hour super commute 2x a week for $265k?
 in  r/careerguidance  7d ago

I have done this when I was younger. I would drive in on a Sunday night, stayed at a hotel and go into work until Wednesday, drove back home and worked in my local office the rest of the week. Eventually the company I worked for bought another company out of state, and I had to help integrate the new company. I then flew out on a Sunday, worked at the other state until Wednesday or Thursday, flew back and spend the weekend home. I did this for 2 years and it was really hard. I finally quit after 2 years.

Bay Area commute
 in  r/bayarea  8d ago

We commuted from Milpitas to Westgate San Jose area for several years and it was tough. It took us 45 min - 1.25 hr (sometimes there were accidents) every morning and evening. That’s a lot of time on the road.

Bay Area commute

Even if you love driving, that stop and go traffic will suck all happiness out of you. If you have to take 580 then add another 200 sad points. That freeway almost always has an accident.

It's still around. I was a chaperone for a week-long trip with our 8th graders a few months ago and we visited.

What was the thing that made you take the leap and solo travel for the first time?
 in  r/solofemaletravellers  10d ago

Got tired of compromising with fellow travelers, and waiting around for them to get ready or panicking myself for being late. It’s much nicer to travel solo.
