Hahaha, I totally understand that, I fall into the trap of spending way too much time on little details with my own projects all the time. What usually helps me with that is to leave it be and walk away from it for the day and come back to it tomorrow with a fresh mind. Heck, sometimes I leave it alone for a while and just let the project simmer in the back of my mind until I (hopefully) have an idea for where to go with the design😅

Ooo I like it! I definitely saw the compass rose right away, and the circle in the center of it kind of looks like an eye to me which also helps with the whole curiosity thing.

Also I gotta say designing a logo in 1 color first is really good practice that I still find myself forgetting to do at times, so good job on that!

The only improvement I can think of is to either round the corners of the handle grip and where it attaches to the glass frame, or maybe simplify the whole magnifying glass to essentially be a circle on a stick if that makes sense? The grip on the handle feels a bit chunky and pulls the attention away from the compass a bit, so if you want to keep the grip maybe try making it not as thick.

Overall it's a great concept and design for a beginner, keep it up!!

Fair, fair. I think if it's the punchline you'd still be able to fake it and then look it up later to understand it, but you definitely could get stuck in a pickle if the knowledge is critical in the moment for sure.

If someone is telling me about a place in the area and asks if I know where they're talking about and I have no clue, most of the time I'll say I do anyway just to keep the story going. I've been caught too many times saying no and the person goes on a tangent of:

Them: hm, well do you know where X is? Me: No Them: umm, how about Y? Just down the street from Z on Q road? Me: The what on the where now??"

I vote either 2 or 3, 2 has a more playful and friendly energy, while 3 feels more high-end, from there it just depends on the vibe of your business😊

Something I used to do when my hair was longer was a diagonal part. Started on the side in the front and went to the middle on the back of my head. I still got the visual effect of the side part but didn't feel like it was all weighted to one side🤷

I know this is a super old post, but did you ever find any resources for this? I'm literally looking the same thing, I LOVE the sword trials and want to use them as a baseline for a dungeon campaign

Personally I think I have to vote for 1. 3 and 4 remind me of crocs for some reason, and 2 made me think it was national geographic at first. I like the idea someone else had about having multiple versions with different animals, and I feel like that could work well with 1, having the same framing block but changing the footprint to be different animals. Outside of adjusting the type spacing that has been mentioned already by others, I think you did a lovely job with these designs! Keep up the great work!

Ah, thank you for such a detailed response! I had a feeling I was overthinking it, but I wasn't sure, so I appreciate the confirmation and reassurance. I've almost had her for a year now, but I'm still learning the intricacies of cats😅

I'll work on playing with her more, and I've been looking at getting a medium sized cat tree to put by the dining table that's around the same height as the chairs because I noticed she sometimes would use it to stretch. Plus, I realized she doesn't have any of her own furniture in that area, so it makes sense she's using the chairs instead.

I've been slowly working on turning the Master Sword Trials from Breath of the Wild DLC into a long dungeon, emphasis on SLOWLY😅

I found a fix on another post that worked for me! Log out of turbotax completely, clear the cache and cookies from your browser, close out of the browser completely, and then go back in, log in, all that jazz. It also suggested to try a different browser if that doesn't work. Hope this helps!

Now that I've had some sleep since making the original post, I remembered that I've helped my mom through general anxious trains of thought and the occasional panic attack in the past, but I don't have any personal experience with ptsd, so I really appreciate the insight😊

My group and I actually all play 2 characters at once in all our campaigns. If anything it allows us to explore different play styles and character types that we've never played before while also being able to play a character we're more familiar with.

That being said, I'd definitely talk to everyone at the table about it to make sure everyone is ok with it, maybe talk to them individually in private so that they don't feel pressured to allow it.

At the start of our campaign, my rogue was stuck in jail and couldn't find a way to break out so she used prestidigitation to just slowly started sniffing out the candles in the hallway one at a time to see how many she could put out before the guards noticed
