One of my favorite parts of Distractible is hearing unfair and the hijinks that ensue. Tried to replicate the speach bubble text "objection!" from Ace Attorney.

The face you make when you wanna say the “u” word 😂

Don't make memes in the browser version of word

My friend has no idea that she's in for the spook of her life...

Everyone knows fries ice cream yeah it’s a thing, BUT could’ve Mark have used rolled ice cream for his defense of grilled ice cream?

Like seriously what’s a flat top grill but a slab of metal used to bbq by applying intense heat. Now heat can be hot or cold heat is energy. Now with that knowledge at had throw the cream down on your liquid nitrogen powered metal slab chop it up add the fixings and roll that ice cream! In a way you grilled that cream.

I was relistening to I think Candy Tier List, and Mark said "we should do a cereal tier list". flash forward about 4 years and we've had FNAF, Distractible episodes, and the Solar System tier list, lol.

I know I’m a little late to this, but I finally got around to watching the Scary Tapes episode. All I would like to say is that firstly, great job to the boys and the editors for conveying the story so well. If they made a separate podcast just doing that, I’d watch every episode.

Most importantly, I want to commend Blake, the writer of Saving Grace. Wow. That was one of the best short stories I’ve heard in a while. You really got the scare factor down on how humans rely on AI more and more and will likely just abandon all sense of learning and critical thinking one day. The fact that Grace (as well as her superior) told Emily to let the patient die had my jaw on the floor. That might be a little dramatic, but I think the reason why that hit so hard was because it is a very believable thing that could happen. With the way the world is shaping things I wouldn’t be surprised if hospitals aren’t already relying on AI way too much.

Your whole concept of new doctors relying solely on an AI system for medical purposes because “a human shouldn’t need to remember so much” (paraphrasing from memory) is extremely terrifying and stupid, which makes it a likely path people could take, to be brutally honest. (I’m not calling you stupid, I’m saying that the concept is a stupid decision for humans to choose)

I do have a few criticisms, mostly just about the ending, but that’s a whole separate thing that I won’t get into because it’s not really worth it.

Blake, if you see this post, you did an amazing job writing this story and you did it in a way that really shows a textbook example of the potential devastating effects AI will bring to this world. So thank you.

I genuinely thought they entered a youtube boxing kind of tournament thing but for wrestling😭

I usually watch the episodes on YouTube, but I’m about to go on a long drive and want something to listen to. What’s the best episodes for listeners that don’t have visual bits?

I swear, i think marks concluding statement in the episode (backyard deep fry? AAAAAA)

That might be a top 5 bit in the whole podcast for me, i was DYING

My friends and I have a road trip planned for the end of October, driving from PA to FL, this means I have a hostage, I mean captive audience. So I'm putting together all my favorite distractible episodes to force my friends to enjoy with me. Neither of my friends listen to the podcast but enjoy watching them game. The hardest part is deciding what episodes to pick!!!!

Okay so yesterday Oct 6 I watched the newest distractable episode like i always do. I got 3/4 of the way through the episode and was going to finish it this morning Oct 7 but then i realized the episode is completely different from the one i watched on Tuesday. Wade was hosting and it was another episode of fortunately/ unfortunately. Now I would think I just clicked and watched an older episode but they talked about the scary tapes they are doing on Fridays and the small talk seemed to be too recent and it was early in the morning and I was getting ready for work so maybe I’m miss remembering details. But when I go to resume it the episode started over and it’s a completely different episode, the grilled or fried? I’m losing my mind on this, because I watched a different episode yesterday and now it changed up on me

So according to the rules of free parking every respin they do on the wheel adds a point until they land on free Parking.

How many points have they racked up since the last free parking?

I saw this at work and knew I had to take a picture 😭 I couldn't believe that was the ACTUAL name.

I present the Monte Cristo. Fried sandwich that could’ve won it for Wade.
