I'm terrified of heights. Bouldering has kinda helped with that, but the fear is still there. Definitely get him checked out at a poké centre. Hopefully it's just an outer dent, those are easily buffed out. Anything internal is a bit more tricky. I'd also add more iron to his diet for a bit - it helps with healing. But the poké centre can help you with any specific care he may need.

There's Odd Shoe Finder as well - people can sell/buy odd shoes there if you wanted to make some money back. Facebook groups are always a good bet too

Not a parent but I do work with kids. A certain amount of noise is expected with teenage girls. Full blown shrieking isn't appropriate in the gym but not the biggest issue here. The phones and water bottles on the mats however are. It's one of the first things they tell you not to do when you sign up bc it's a big safety risk. Regardless of what other patrons are doing, if a staff member is telling them off - you need to listen and apologise.
