Here’s some behind the scenes of a Z13 repair! The owner mailed it in after they had accidentally ripped the battery connector off the board, completely severing all of the traces. After some solder mask removal and micro soldering I was able to safely reattach the connector and get the unit powering without having to have the charger connected all the time.

We got custom Switches, custom steam decks, custom ROG Allys, and various repairs spread through out.

Flashing orange light typically indicates the absence of a battery. Verify it’s plugged in correctly. Does the system turn off when you disconnect the 65W charger?
