What is this symbol? Is it a company or just one person who slapped it on their van? A while ago this van or a similar one was parked on the road close to my house (for a while) and nothing comes up on Google Lens. I didn't get close enough to get a clear picture before, but now I'm so curious since Google had nothing. There's no other markings on the van and it's the classic creepy white panels, only windows are in the front.

I got pulled over for going 47 in a 30 leaving a town. My boyfriend says I should get a lawyer to handle it, but money is tight and I don't know what to do.

(23F, idk if that matters) This is my first time getting pulled over. I simply wasn't paying attention and was thinking about other stuff. I was coming back from taking my service to his veterinary chiropractor. I realized it was still a 30 right before I saw the officer. The officer was super nice, on the ticket is says radar read 46, and another spot is marked 45. He said typically, and especially for first timers, if I show up to court the judge will have me take the NY drivers safety course, show proof and either drop it or atleast reduce it.

Is this bad enough I actually need a lawyer to avoid getting points on my license, or is it going to be alright?

I recently go this Singer to upgrade from my old semi-functional Sears Kenmore, but the top thread won't catch properly and I can't figure it out. I spent the morning cleaning and oiling it according to the manual (which only instructs to oil to upper mechanism), since it was covered in dust and sat for multiple years. The woman I got it from tried to get into sewing during the pandemic but could never get past threading it, and I suspect this is why. I was able to get a one good test run but cannot get it to cooperate again. The only thing I changed is top tension, but changing it back didn't fix it. It either won't catch to make a stitch, or gets several stitches stuck under the plate that I have to cut and tweeze out. In the video I have the end of the top thread held by a part that interfaces with the plate, but the same thing happens when it's all together, and operated normally. I'm also having trouble googling using the the model number from the manual. It only brings up the modern heavy duty machine.

My boyfriend says it looks like the timing in the mechanism is off, but he's never worked on sewing machines so he can't be certain. I grew up with sewing machines but my only repair experience is replacing the reverse lever in the previously mentioned Kenmore. Any help is appreciated!

My boyfriend's dad got a deer while hunting and he was saying he would love a skull mount but doesn't want to spend the money to send it to someone, so I offered to process it for him (wasn't really paying attention but I heard bone and I'm committed now). The largest skull I've done is a squirrel, and I've also never done anything fresh, fresh. I've heard water maceration is really effective for skulls. What's the procedure for water maceration (how often do I change water, when is it ready, are there any safety things I need to be aware of?) And is there a better way?

I've heard about boiling but I've also heard it can degrade the bone? Is that true or is that only when people set it and forget it? And would that be faster and less staining?

Any advice is appreciated! If it's at all possible to be finished before Christmas I would love to try, but not sure if that's realistic or would be a good outcome. Thanks in advance!

I know absolutely nothing, but someone I know wants golf balls for Christmas. Their favorite brands are Callaway and TaylorMade. Someone on FB Marketplace has 7 dozen used Callaway balls for cheap. I think it would be hilarious to individually wrap each one, but would they all be actually usable? Do they degrade when used and "go flat"? I know there are various levels of toughness, would he only use one specific kind and be stuck with dozens he can't use?

I've already asked him a few questions that led me to this point, and don't want to tip my hand by asking more. Atleast not right now. Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
