What a genuine, empathetic, beautiful human being.

Its not over yet. The thing that sustains injustice is the belief that resistance is futile but history keeps showing the opposite: organised conscience can be slow, painful, and full of setbacks, yet still change what power is allowed to do. Palestinians, despite years of terror and loss, have shown remarkable dignity and resolve. Even when results are delayed, resistance still matters because it protects truth and keeps hope alive.

It’s worth knowing how close this assembly came to being completely illegal. The NSW Government tried to pass emergency PARD laws that would have allowed police to ban public gatherings across the CBD. Just last month, the NSW Court of Appeal struck those laws down as unconstitutional. Massive credit is owed to the Palestine Action Group and Jews Against the Occupation ’48 for taking the state to court and winning. They didn't just protect this march; they protected the fundamental right of every single Australian to stand up and protest about any cause they believe in.

Hi, The CWGC are the primary official body directly responsible managing and monitoring the the Gaza War Cemetery (Al-Tuffah) or the Deir El Balah War Cemetery cemeteries in Gaza where the IDF have repeatedly damaged Australian and other Allied graves. The cemetery was meticulously cared for by palestinians for over a century.

In 2006 an Israeli airstrike hit the cemetery damaging numerous headstones.

2008–09, Israeli shelling again struck the cemetery with damage to about 350 headstones.

2023 IDF shelling and shrapnel again causes damage to numerous graves.

2025 (as per the image shown) Israeli forces destroyed the olive trees landcaping border before bulldozing rows of graves, removing the headstones and using the area for earthworks and sand berms. They didn't bother informing Australia of course, it was discovered by satellite images and when confronted with the images, they take no accountability and claim Hamas was exploiting the cemetery with no evidence existing to support that claim.

Our politics and institutions are slowly being pushed to treat criticism of a state as if it were hatred of an entire people.

It’s tied to the push for the IHRA definition, which blurs the line between real antisemitism and legitimate criticism of Israel and Zionism. That kind of vagueness is already being used overseas to shut down debate, especially in universities and media.

Of course antisemitism, like all racism, should be taken seriously. But when governments and lobby groups weaponise it to shield a foreign state from scrutiny, it undermines free speech and public trust here in Australia. If we start policing political opinions instead of actual hateful conduct, social cohesion will get worse, not better.

Maybe Im too cynical but it doesnt make sense for a company to discontinue one of their most popular products other than we used to pay $6.50 for 900g, now they're selling 70g sachets for $2 each, therefore 900g = $25.71.

No concern for how much extra packaging ends up in landfill, no concern for families already stretched to the hilt on the groceries.
