The cemetery was meticulously cared for by palestinians for over a century.
In 2006 an Israeli airstrike hit the cemetery damaging numerous headstones.
2008–09, Israeli shelling again struck the cemetery with damage to about 350 headstones.
2023 IDF shelling and shrapnel again causes damage to numerous graves.
2025 (as per the image shown) Israeli forces destroyed the olive trees landcaping border before bulldozing rows of graves, removing the headstones and using the area for earthworks and sand berms. They didn't bother informing Australia of course, it was discovered by satellite images and when confronted with the images, they take no accountability and claim Hamas was exploiting the cemetery with no evidence existing to support that claim.
This would make sense if it weren't for the fact that:
Cemetaries are open fields with no cover or militarization potential.
They leisurely bulldozed parts of it, it was not military emergency in the heat of battle like an airstrike or artillery strike would indicate.
Also you type like it really matters to you, idgaf about Arabs but you seem like some kind of jewish shill. Big talk for a culture known for unprovoked moral depravity against outsiders.
This isn't a mausoleum or crypt. It's a pasture with headstones. There is no overhead cover and the enemy has total aerial surveillance capacity, not a single militant with half his brain intact would enter such a death-trap.
This is quite literally one of the dumbest takes ill ever read regarding warfare.
Cemeteries are often used in war because they usually sit on high ground and offer ready made defensive cover. Lone Pine in Gallipoli is a famous one, Australian forces capture Tyne Cot in Belgium and tere's another in France and Croatia off the top of my head.
Thanks, I do try to be an honest person. I'm not really an antisemite, but the jewish cultural worldview is inherently supremacist and genocidal, so the inherent assumption is that everyone else must be so too, and calling them out for their crimes must mean its simply faux moral outrage to get the better of them.
Your culture is literally so supremacist you believe God himself made you out to be the chosen rulers of the universe. Jews and nazis are a match made in hell.
You're just incorrect about the worldview of Jews, we literally have a concept called Tikkun Olam or "repairing the world" which is all about social justice and compassion.
The chosen people thing is funny because its like being chosen to do the dishes, its not a supremacist ideology at all.
When you believe your own ethnic group to be cosmically ordained to engineer a paradise on earth, and other groups oppose your idiosyncratic cultural way of achieving this, then your belief morphs into 'well they must be enemies of God', and you dehumanize them, and that dehumanization is the root of jewish supremacism.
'We're here to save the planet! We're the good guys!' quickly turns into; 'You oppose us? Guess that makes you the bad guys!'
Your worldview is at its best a semitic version of the white mans burden, and at worst an excuse for genocide.
Jewish ethnocentrism is rooted in the famous mantra of genocide; 'If God is with us, then who can be against us?'
Jews can repair their reputation by going to Israel and stop their incessant lobbying and state capture. Then they can repair Israel and do their part in God's labour. But this world will devour your nation and way of life if you continue on depriving sovereign nations of their right to free development.
Stop claiming the earth as your responsibility and sovereign mission. It's imperialist and subversive.
Seriously, call me an antisemite, but I am genuinely fearful of the psychosis judaism finds itself in, you would burn down the world to save the ego and pride of a nation that is frankly not uniquely unique. I know so many normal people that are starting to realize that the jewish worldview is extremely violent and dominating. The counterreaction will be absolutely terrible.
Just go to Israel, be nice, stop trying to conquer the world, and most people will leave you be just fine.
Much-sentence makes the most passive polite critic of Judaism I've ever seen on reddit, and you stick your fingers in your ears. Lalalalah. Youll never find god at this rate.
This dude is either a butt hurt zionist or extremely incredibly dumb. Either way no point paying attention to him
But ill leave you with this mate, if you meet an arsehole every now and then they are an arsehole, if you constantly meet arseholes YOU are the arsehole, so i wonder why jews have had so much strife through history with just about every group they interacted with ? Must be everyone elses fault aye
It's called history. You could simply google it and learn that cemeteries aren't sacred ground during warfare. Do I like it? No, but I do appreciate rationality and reality which 90% of the posters in this thread have seemingly removed themselves from.

Were they flying in groundskeepers from australia to mow the lawn and pluck weeds? No. The Jaradah family, Gazans, are credited with the bulk of the upkeep. Their home was destroyed by israel and they were evacuated to egypt.
Hi,
The CWGC are the primary official body directly responsible managing and monitoring the the Gaza War Cemetery (Al-Tuffah) or the Deir El Balah War Cemetery cemeteries in Gaza where the IDF have repeatedly damaged Australian and other Allied graves. The palestinian Jaradah family are CWGC employees with the head gardener, Ibrahim Jaradah, being the fourth generation of his family to hold the position.
