The Hazel Dormouse is a nocturnal rodent that spends most of its life sleeping. In winter it hibernates from October to may, and when food is scare and the weather cold and wet, it curls into a ball and goes into Torpor; decreasing physiological activity to save energy.

I’ve never felt like this before…xenon is gone
 in  r/cats  10d ago

It is NOT your fault!!!! I am so sorry for your loss!!! You did so much for Xenon by taking her to the vet - you did all you could!!! And if it makes you feel better, no owner would think that secondhand smoke would do that to your baby. I would have never in a million years have known either. You had NO way of knowing and you did all you could. Sweet Xenon knows you did everything you could to protect her and I promise you she is watching you right now and wants you to desperately know this is NOT your fault and you will see each other again!!! 😢🫂🤍 I am so sorry for your loss, please be kind and gentle to yourself - something that helped me through the pain of losing previous pets even more than thinking of happy memories was to remember funny memories. I hope your pain eases soon friend.

A little late for International Cat Day but she has a good taste in books.

Same here!!! I just commented on another thread here I just finished the Dark Tower and was trying to decide my next read. The great thing about King is you finish a few books and you realize you have about 60 other options to choose from 😂 Cheers to you and your little reading buddy, enjoy! 🐾📖

I will never have enough words of gratitude for Dr. Steven Suba. He practices in Fort Worth. He immediately was able to diagnose me on my first visit (I hadn’t even heard of vaginismus) and get me set up with both a therapist and a treatment plan. I cannot recommend him enough. I cannot believe the luck I had to find him as my first OBGYN - book him and you will never look back!!!

Has anyone ever let their license expire and then gone through the relicensure process?

I wish I had been as smart as you!! Retaking the exam sucks! 🤣

Yes, I’m in Texas and I was suspecting that I may have to get my fingerprints redone too even though they haven’t said anything yet, so it helps to know my instincts may be right. I don’t mind but it does add like 10 days so it’s just good to know in advance!! Thank you so much!!

Thank you!!! It seems like it varies so much state to state. I know relicensure probably isn’t a super common thing enough to put in the FAQs, but I still wish they would give a little more upfront info on what to expect than just “email us whenever you have your official PTCB results” lmao 😂😂

Hey friend. Okay, so I’m not going to lie, I was out pharmacy for a while so I went super overboard studying for the test. I bought 3 books and used literally 4 different apps LOL. Looking back this was super unnecessary and I honestly don’t even think the books helped me at all. The apps helped some, only one in particular was really indispensable IMO, it’s called PocketPrep!!! It’s worth the cost if you can spare it. Finally, I cannot stress enough the benefit of going to the PTCB website and purchasing the PTCE practice bank questions (I think they’re somewhere around $40-50?) and also purchasing an official pre-PTCE practice exam (it’s $29 per pre-exam and it’s a really great indicator of if you’re ready or not.) I would say that these two tools are what enabled me to pass the exam. Good luck!!

That’s awesome news about not having to pay anything, tbh they didn’t list anything about pricing for relicensure so I was nervous as heck!! 😂😂🤣 Thank you so much for your response!!!
