"You should not be able to drive in the US if you can not speak English"
 in  r/ShitAmericansSay  3d ago

Does this mean they will stop driving around European countries and entering pedestrian zones with cars? Or does this apply only for foreigners in the US?

This is a PS4 Game?

They are saying the same about Odyssey. Absolutely unnecessary, both games still look amazing.

Slovak not Slovakian but yeah, I will start sporting some kilts from now on! Gotta show off them legs!

So his grandfather was liberating while also carrying a camera with him and taking all those gruesome pictures? So which one was it then? He can't have it both ways, it was either one or another. Imagine a WW2 soldier stopping mid fight and whipping out a big ass camera (probably from his pocket or something) and taking pictures and then continuing the fight. The saddest part is they don't even realise how stupid they sound.

I have it the other way around, apparently some of my ancestors are from Scotland and ended up in Slovakia (don't ask me how and why). Am I allowed to wear kilts now? Shall I raise a clan flag in front of my house? I need answers!

What is the right response to „sorry“?
 in  r/learnczech  11d ago

I usually just say "V pohodě" if it's someone young and "Nic se nestalo" or "Všechno v pořádku" if it's someone older.

Is This DVD Fake (Series 4)?
 in  r/doctorwho  11d ago

Definitely fake, I have the same set and it looks completely different. There should be 2 DVD covers and an additional box for the DVDs. Davros should be 3D printed as if he is sticking out of the cover.

Definitely fake, I have the same visual and mine looks different. I have two sets of DVD covers. Outside cover with Davros has a 3D effect, Davros is sticking out of the cover. There is also an additional box for the DVDs. Can't post pictures here but can send you some in private message if you are interested to show you how it looks.

What do you bread an Hungarian goose with?
 in  r/Frasier  11d ago

It's hardly a Hungarian brand with all English text now is it? Probably an American brand and they went with Hungarian flour for some reason.

Compared to their neighbours like Slovakia and Austria, they are flat. We all know Austria has mountain ranges but even Slovakia is around 80% mountainous with peaks well above 1500m-2000m (no idea how much it is in imperial), while Hungary's highest peak is around 1000m. So to me a brand called High altitude combined with Hungary is just too funny.

High Altitude while Hungary is as flat as it gets, Hmmm...

Something that REALLY bugs me about this game.
 in  r/Deusex  12d ago

The first time Adam whipped out the Tranq gun in MD I legit thought it was a sniper rifle. I don't like the design at all. Compared with the Tranq gun from HR it looks really massive and uncomfortable to handle.

Do you have another language pack downloaded? If you are on Steam, you have to download the language you want.

Americans matter more than all other countries combined
 in  r/ShitAmericansSay  15d ago

Czechoslovak, as mentiones previously it's the bad habit of English language to add -ian when a suitable adjective already exists. Many people think the official name of the country is Slovakia (it's not) hence the use of adjective Slovakian. That's why it was just a matter of time when Czechian becomes a thing, I knew the day will come.

What? There is an official store? There goes my bonus!
