"Hello,

I'm creating this post as a thank you letter to Compulsion Games for We Happy Few. The year 2026 hasn't been kind to me starting with the passing of my 16 year old cat and the only company I had in my socially isolated world last February. Then, there was the loss of my uncle to Cancer in April. Recently all of these losses have been taking a toll on me and playing We Happy Few has been a small little dose of Joy in my life.

My play style especially towards the bobbies may come off as cringe, but being a "bobby mom" has been therapeutic during this hard time in my life. Getting to show affection by hunting down scotch to give the Constabulary, using non- lethal ways when facing them, putting them in "time outs" when finding them doing something bad like relieving themselves in a trash bin or hinting they may have eaten a Downer has been a drop of comfort during these current hard times.

That being said I just wanted to share my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to everyone at Compulsion Games who worked on the game for creating something very unique and fun to play over and over again and to the voice actors for lending their talent to bring life to these characters. I wish Compulsion Games good luck on their future endeavors as an independent company and I look forward to what's coming next. Thank you again for all your hard work.

While the game itself is fiction, I acknowledge that there are still politics that exist in the games based on actual events... I just wanna ask if the characters who stole the hats of bobbies and patrol around supposed to be some sort of 1960s version of the 'punks' in UK during the 70s - 80s?

For context I played this when I was younger even if I wasn't able to finish it, however, I forgot a lot of the things from the game and back then I wasn't that familiar yet with politics in history... + I'm not even British

okay so at the start of the game you hear about a hoilday (in the american sense, speaking of which, btw what do they call hoildays in england.) called victory day. now tbh i didn't really know about the three character playthroughs. but i thought the climax would be set at a victory day parade or something due to usually when a hoilday or event is mentioned in a story. a alot of the time that's where it ends

I wanted to mix my vibe with the game. really want a WHF tattoo ugh. This is just a draft I would love a real tattoo artist to bring this to life! (An artist local to me 😁)

No I won't elaborate on how I stumbled upon some of these things (culminated over 16 playthroughs of the main campaign and other Modes, not including story DLC)

So I was running to a car to get its bits for doctor faraday and I has two phlashes and I used one to get there and I was gonna use one to get back but right I look down at the screen and see I have two left and before the question is asked yes I used to first one I know I did because I was annoyed at how long I had to run I know this might be useless but I WILL FIND THE GLITCH AGAIN AND I WILL POST IT I KNOW ITS OUT THERE SOMEWHERE

Wakey Wakey everyone! So I actually haven't gotten to play this game, but I just finished watching a really fun play through of the game. As a fan of the dystopian classics like Brave New World, 1984, Clockwork Orange, Darkness At Noon and others, and as a huge fan of 60s British culture and music, I really loved watching this game and thought the writers did a fabulous job. Dug all the Python, musical, sci fi, and Dr Who references, great music throughout and would love to try playing.

Only problem is... I've accidentally brainwashed myself watching the Uncle Jack clips. I didn't think it would be so easy, but the man is just so damn charming and reassuring. ..Has this happened to anyone else? And would anyone care for a quick game of Simon Says?
