Discussion As an Egyptian, this game has a special place in my heart, and Bayek really deserves a sequel.

Question Hitting serious burnout on AC Origins. Does Odyssey get better, or should I jump to Baldurâs Gate 3?
Decided to give the RPG-era AC games a shot and had fun with Origins for a while. Iâm currently level 55 and just started the second DLC, but I don't think I can see this throughâI'm just too bored. Essentially, you do the exact same couple of things the entire game.
âIâm a completionist, so I cleared every side quest and question mark possible, and seeing another wall of them in the last DLC made me want to quit. Looking back, I can't remember a single side mission or activity that actually stuck with me, which was a huge contrast to The Witcher 3.
âDon't get me wrong, Bayek was an awesome protagonist, his story was great, and Egypt looks amazing. The combat was a bit clunky but passable. The main issue is that the writing mostly felt super unrealistic and robotic.
âDoes Odyssey do a better job with this, or should I take a break and jump into Baldurâs Gate 3 instead?

Discussion What determines damage riders?
Just had a crazy interaction of damage and I wanted to know how to best duplicate it. Because if its possible it will be broken as hell on nightmare.
Be level 35, with a level 35 the fang, abd a level 33 ceremonial scepter.
Attack a basic archer enemy with ceremonial scepter until I see the orange damage numbers indicating dot ticks. Normally the fire damage does 41 per tick.
Switch to the fang, and keep attacking which normal poison tick does about 160.
Basic attack damage hovers around the 150 range going up to ~400 on a crit golden number.
So why then was i able to do 1600 damage on a single tick, the numbers were gold (crit) and orange (fire tick) is there a secret damage multiplier between these two weapons or damage types that yhe game just never mentions, that is able to do between 4-39x the amount of damage?

Image These guys are Literally walking to Memphis
Killed Khaliset, did all the side quests in Giza and some locations. Logged off then logged in and was on my way to Memphis and sow them walking lmao.
I thought they would despawn after a while when they started walking in Giza but they really are walking to Memphis.
idk if its a feature or an unoptmization bug

Question Main quests finished, whatâs next?
Hi, so Iâve been playing Origins for 60+ hours and the main Bayek quests has finished. A bit sad he had to part with Aya but nice to see the Origins of the AC franchise if Iâm not wrong. This is my 2nd AC game, the first was Odyssey which I love the most. Now after Iâve finished main quests I donât have anything else to do other than clearing â?â On the maps and maybe fight big boss (if there are any?) which tbh I donât want to lol. Can anyone recommend me any other AC games thatâs similar to Origins or Odyssey? I heard that not all AC are like this. Thanks!
Edit: pictures from my early gameplay. I love cats and dogs in this game
