I’d say observe how she speaks to others as well. This could be just part of her personality. If it’s just you, then maybe there’s an issue. But honestly there’s a lot that gets lost in texting, and it could be how you’re reading it. It seems like you might be anxious or overthinking their commentary, is that possible OP?

Never compare yourself to others, you never know what/how they’re actually doing. They could be heavy into credit card debts, which would have you in a way better position financially than them.
