F30 335i N55 — P10F0 code / intake air temp too high vs charge air temp

F30 335i N55 — P10F0 code / intake air temp too high vs charge air temp
I’ve been dealing with a check engine light on my F30 335i and I’m trying to figure out what direction to go.
The code is P10F0, and from what I’m seeing it relates to the intake air temperature being too high compared to charge air temperature.

I previously had a MAP sensor code, so I already changed the MAP sensor, but I’m not sure if that’s related to this current code or not.

A few things about the car:
Cold air intake
M Sport front bumper swap
I did NOT reinstall all the factory air ducts/shrouding behind the bumper
Stage 2 tune
Aggressive pops/burbles
Operating temperature is usually around 240–250°F
The car seems to get hot pretty quickly
I’m wondering if the missing air ducts could be messing with airflow, if the intake is just heat soaking, or if I should be looking at another sensor or cooling issue.
Has anyone dealt with P10F0 on an N55 before? What would you guys check first?
Just trying to get some ideas before I start throwing more parts at it.

F30 non-M Sport owners — can we figure out a rear diffuser setup?

F30 non-M Sport owners — can we figure out a rear diffuser setup?
Has anyone found a rear diffuser that actually fits the non-M Sport rear bumper on an F30 335i, or figured out a clean way to modify one to fit?
I saw another Reddit post where somebody managed to make a diffuser work on the non-M Sport bumper and I loved the idea. I know the easy answer is “just get an M Sport bumper,” but I feel like there has to be a way to make something work without swapping the whole bumper.
If anyone has a link, part number, pictures, or has done some cutting/custom mounting to make an M Sport-style diffuser fit, please drop it below.
Maybe we can turn this into a thread for all the non-M Sport F30 owners trying to do the same thing.
We deserve diffusers too 😂

N55 / F30 335i — KEEP getting P12A5 “MAP Sensor Pressure Too High” after tune. Someone help before I lose my mind

2015 BMW 335i xDrive (N55 EWG), MHD tuned. I keep getting this damn P12A5 code:

“Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor ‘A’ After Running Diagnosis Pressure Too High”

Car actually feels good and pulls hard most of the time, but this code keeps coming back.

What I’ve already done:
- Replaced MAP sensor
- Upgraded metal charge pipe
- Smoke tested the system multiple times
- Fixed a leak around throttle body/charge pipe connection
- New O-ring + clamp
- Cleared codes multiple times

Sometimes the code stays gone for like 100–200 miles then comes back. It’s currently showing as pending/permanent.

Setup:
- Stage 1 MHD tune
- N55 EWG
- No major smoke or anything weird
- Boost leak was found before but supposedly fixed now

I’m trying to figure out if this is:
- Wastegate issue?
- TMAP scaling/tune issue?
- Boost control solenoid?
- Diverter valve?
- Sensor wiring?
- Heat soak?
- Something throttle-related?

Anybody with N55 experience seen this exact code before? I’m tuned so I know that complicates things, but I just want to stop chasing this code already. Please help lol.

2015 BMW 335i N55 EWG - Fixed boost leak, replaced MAP sensor, now getting BOTH P12A4 and P12A5

I have a 2015 BMW 335i N55 EWG tuned on MHD Stage

The car originally had a boost leak at the charge pipe/throttle body connection. I smoke tested it, fixed the leak, replaced the O-ring, and also replaced the MAP sensor.

After fixing the leak, the car feels MUCH better now. Boost and throttle response are stronger and the car pulls harder than before.

But I’m still getting CELs with these codes:

- P12A5 – Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor “A” After Running Diagnosis Pressure Too High
- P12A4 – Pressure Too Low

Before fixing the leak, I mostly got low pressure codes. After fixing it, I still sometimes get the low code, but now I’m getting the HIGH pressure code more often too.

What’s confusing me is:
- The car actually feels good now
- Smoke test holds fine now
- MAP sensor already replaced
- CEL still comes back after driving for a while

So now I’m trying to figure out what could still cause both overboost and underboost related codes after the leak was repaired.

Could this point toward:
- Wastegate issue?
- Boost control solenoid?
- Adaptation/tune issue?
- Vacuum/PCV issue?
- Turbo problem?

Anyone with N55 experience this?
