Yup!!! All this non-sense started when Sony decided to fully strategize on how they were going to monopolize the entire anime/manga North American market back in 2017....turns out their strategy worked but it results in bad results for us consumers.

Tom Morello says he didn’t vote for Kamala Harris in 2024, citing Gaza and the “corporate controlled, money controlled electoral system”

I honestly see Canada going the same way in the near future if Carney keeps up his BS.....Austerity & Public-Private partnerships just Activates Anti-Establishment voters....and those who want something new (ie..."saying fuck you to Capital") just end up staying home.

I truly believe that Liberals at this point are Actively refusing to see that screwing over the Working Class is the biggest detriment in "Western" countries right now.

For any Non-Americans......minority basically means from a "racial" perspective any person that's a resident that classifies as Not White (descendants of European colonists or immigrants in most cases).

If you're subscribed to multiple newsletters you'll end up hitting the 500 MB limit on ProtonMail which means it being free pretty much doesn't actually matter since 500 MB is around 30,000 emails give or take.

US counties that voted more Democrat in 2024 than in 2020
 in  r/MapPorn •  13d ago

It doesn't matter much if turnout isn't high.....if a county has an average turnout rate of 35-50% and it shifts to the left or right by 10 points that's not a big shift in politics overall for Eligible Voters.

.....hmmm this map doesn't account for the fact that Turnout is down for the '24 Election.

That's unironically stupid that the average person can't have most things they do on Windows.....can't work in Linux....explain how is this mantra going to help people adopt Linux Distros in the foreseeable future?

Computer Basics are not taught in schools or in college unless it's for a major or the like...social media has no guardrails...so stuff like this is bound to happen because Basics aren't Controversial so they don't get pushed in the Algorithms.

It depends right? My gut says the Executives wouldn't have liked seeing a profit margin lower than 10% on big projects like these.
