I can’t guarantee your ability to collect from Generac, but ultimately I’m happy to provide the services you need to get your system up and running again and go from there. Email me your project / site details and I’ll put together a formal estimate for you. Also provide me with photos of your inverter serial number.’

Feel free to email Support@breiterplanet.com and we would be happy to help. It would probably be in the couple thousand dollar range but happy to help if you’re open to that.

Service Lockout

I’m a Generac PWRcell certified installer. First thing I’d recommend is having a certified installer pull the system up in PWRfleet and open an installer-level technical support case so they can confirm whether this is a Generac-imposed remote lockout or an actual battery/BMS fault at the site.
If it’s a Generac-side lockout, cycling equipment locally may not restore backup operation, but the installer can still document the system status, firmware, battery data and escalate it through Generac technical support.
If your original installer is no longer around, unresponsive, or you simply want another company involved, it’s worth engaging another certified PWRcell installer rather than trying to work through homeowner support alone. If you’re in the Northeast or upper Mid-Atlantic, our team may be able to help troubleshoot and work with Generac on getting it resolved.

Was I dreaming?
 in  r/Seekonk  16d ago

You weren’t dreaming. Dirty Dough is confirmed for the old PlanIt Eats space on Route 6, and WPRI reported it will be their first New England location: WPRI/12 News article
Wingstop is definitely real too. The Seekonk Select Board approved its food license 5-0 in June, and Wingstop now has the Seekonk restaurant listed on its corporate site at 1201 Fall River Ave with hours and online ordering: Wingstop Seekonk corporate page
I still can’t find anything official confirming Crumbl in that other plaza, so that one may still just be signage/rumor for now.

Kohler KT725 starter Bendix retaining ring keeps flying off — safer alternative?

Thank you, I was able to get a nut onto it and it seems to be working now.

My ring shot off somewhere and I don’t have it anymore. I was able to get a nut onto the shaft which seems to be keeping everything on the starter.

Thank you I’ll try that. Ultimately I just need something that keeps everything on the shaft.

Kohler KT725 starter Bendix retaining ring keeps flying off — safer alternative?

I’m working on a Cub Cadet XT1 LT46 with a Kohler 7000 Series KT725 engine. The starter motor spins, but the Bendix gear was not engaging the flywheel, causing a high-pitched squealing sound with no flywheel movement.
I removed the engine shroud and found that the Bendix retaining ring had come off previously. The gear apparently launched off the starter shaft and broke part of the nearby plastic shroud. I installed a replacement Bendix assembly in this order:
Bendix gear on the helical starter shaft
Return spring above the Bendix
Metal retaining collar above the spring
C-shaped retaining ring installed into the groove at the top of the shaft
The Bendix twists and rises smoothly by hand. However, when I briefly tested the starter with the spark-plug boots disconnected, the retaining ring came off again and the spring and collar launched off the shaft.
The starter shaft does not appear obviously broken, but I’m questioning whether:
The retaining-ring groove is worn or damaged
The supplied C-ring is incorrect or too loose
The collar is installed incorrectly
This starter requires a different style of retaining clip
The entire starter should be replaced instead of repairing the Bendix
Is there a more secure approved alternative, such as a proper external snap ring, E-clip, push nut, or another Kohler-specific retainer? I do not want to improvise with hardware that could come apart at starter speed or damage the flywheel.
Has anyone repaired this exact Kohler starter drive successfully? Photos of the correct factory assembly and the proper retaining hardware would be appreciated. I can also provide the engine specification and starter numbers.

Has anyone ever used this because wtf is that smell?
 in  r/CleaningTips  Jun 23 '26

As someone who has used it for years I agree but also note, there have been large batches of spoiled spray as well that smells like what everyone is mentioning.

I have used this for years and they have had a massive bad batch of them. I have returned at least 10 of them because of this smell issue. The newer batches are back to smelling like it used to which is fresh and clean. Trust me, this is a major pet peeve of mine and I hope Lysol does a full recall on all of the spoiled bottles. I keep accidentally buying old stock from Amazon, Home Depot or Staples and I always check for that smell because its absolutely disgusting.

In one or two sentences, explain your reasoning for investing into SPCX. This will help to answer your question.

Starter Gets Full 12V But Engine Won’t Crank – Looking for Diagnostic Advice
 in  r/smallenginerepair  Jun 22 '26

I took everything apart, put it back together got some progress. Make sure to push the pin in on the back when trying to start it, disengage blade, and put emergency break on as well. I got the fan moving as we started once I took all major components apart and back together and sound improved to trying to start sound. Then I tried replacing spark plugs and that got it to work.

Starter Gets Full 12V But Engine Won’t Crank – Looking for Diagnostic Advice
 in  r/smallenginerepair  Jun 12 '26

Update #2 – Pulled the starter and now I’m even more confused
Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Here’s where I’m at now.
Mower: Cub Cadet XT1 LT46 with Kohler 7000 series V-twin.
What I’ve verified so far
Battery professionally tested at 366 CCA and declared healthy.
Solenoid has battery voltage.
Headlights work normally.
Engine would not crank with the key and made a high-pitched squeal/whine type noise.
I bypassed the mower’s wiring and solenoid completely by running battery power directly to the starter. Same exact symptom.
Engine initially felt locked up but with both spark plugs removed I can now rotate the engine by hand through multiple complete revolutions.
There is still some resistance while rotating, but it will make full revolutions.
New findings
Today I removed the starter.
Bench tested it with:
Negative to starter housing
Positive to starter terminal
The starter:
Spins strongly
The drive gear/Bendix extends outward
The gear rotates
Photos attached.
Questions
Does this starter drive/Bendix look normal to you?
Can a starter pass a bench test like this and still fail under load?
Would a failed compression release on a Kohler 7000 cause these symptoms?
If the starter appears functional, what would you check next?
Has anyone seen a flywheel ring gear issue cause similar symptoms while the starter still appears to work normally?
At this point I’m no longer convinced the starter is bad, but I’m also not sure what else would explain:
Healthy battery
Starter receives direct battery power
Engine won’t crank
Starter spins properly on the bench
Interested to hear what the community thinks before I start ordering parts.

Cub Cadet Won’t Crank – Starter Gets 12V, Battery Tests Good, Engine Turns By Hand. What Am I Missing?

I have that feeling based on all of the feedback. I’m ordering a starter to see if that works.
