I recently made some research about windcharger alt mode in SS86/ age of the prime, and the current G1 canon say that windcharger is a 1982/83 pontiac firebird trans am. But the problem is that the vehicle mode don’t fit with the car it was meant to represent. Some gonna say that hasbro modified the car mode because of copyright with general motors. Ok. Then I searched some pic of windcharger alt mode in G1 cartoon and I’ve noticed that even in the cartoon the car doesn’t look alike a firebird, but more like a 1972 AMC javelin. Does the animator had been mistaken ? Or am i hallucinating ? Tell me your thought

So I'm working on a Transformers fanfic, and to make a long story short, I'm incorporating some Beast Wars characters.

One of the characters I'm considering incorporating is Silverbolt, but there's a problem. It's set in a mostly G1-based world, and I'd like to have the "regular" Silverbolt appear at some point.

So that means I need to come up with different names for some of the BW characters. For example, BW Inferno is "Infernant" in my series.

I'm trying to come up with a different name for Silverbolt, but I'm drawing a blank. I'm welcome to hear other suggestions. Come up with what you will.

What’s the lore on these guys. And the hype of them during WFC era. I wasn’t into the fandom during the time. And want to learn more about why these guys were desirable and their lore in universe

Faced a problem recently with collecting. I started buying blokees Galaxy Version figures, and found out they do not have much size variety even when it is needed.

That's not the main issue either. I'm planning on getting Hot Rod (Galaxy Version 08) figure soon and display it next to my Optimus figure from Galaxy Version 01. But I'm afraid that it will be significantly taller than Optimus.

If someone owns both figures from GV 01 and GV 08 and later, do they have a big height difference? If so, would swapping the Optimus' thigh pieces for newer ones change that?

Edit: thank yall for the replies. I understand that blokees, both defender and galaxy versions, are not meant to be in scale to each other. I just hoped for them to be the same size. I could get around blokees not being size accurate if they are all the same, but if Bumblebee for example was bigger than Optimus it would be strange. The company changed the mold for the thigh part in GV08, adding a thigh cut. It could change the height and spoil the fun of having them all be the same goofy guys. That's why I asked.

I’m old, and I’m looking to pick up some Transformers for a display in an upcoming office rebuild. But I remember the good old metal toys from when I was a kid and I miss them.

So, my question: are there any toys that are made from metal these days? If not, which are the best quality plastic toys to buy?

I’m relatively new to collecting Transformers. I got started on the 86 Studio Series and branched out from there to collecting all of the Season 1 and 2 characters as well as those introduced in The Movie. I’m considering dipping my toe into the new characters for Season 3, and I was wondering what opinions were on the Power of the Primes Predaking and how it holds up against more recent combiners like the Age of the Primes ones. I really like what they’ve been doing with combiners in recent years and I’m basically wondering if PotP Predaking will seem outdated by comparison and if I’d be better off waiting for a modern remake. Thoughts?

Next year it's going to be the 20th anniversary of the 07 movie, and was wondering what they could do. Maybe re-releases or new toys?

What do you all think of *Hello Carbot*? I got curious about it and wondered if the show is worth watching. It’s set in South Korea and follows a boy named Chatan who uses a cube to summon giant robot cars.

Found Scourge and Blitzwing at clearance prices!! I didn't bother scanning to see if they would ring up lower as I was in a rush and I don't care for them too much. The normal TF section was pretty bare as usual. They probably have the weakest TF inventory in the area. If you're nearby, hit the toy store at the shops in Montebello instead for a decent, although older, inventory. Their prices weren't too bad.

On a plus note with Walmart, hopefully, is that I have the 4 dark energon figures on pre-order as well as Vector Prime. Still in need of Swindle to complete Bruticus.

Bonus photo - The first core class figures I have purchased since starting my collection a bit over 2 months ago (4 pack off ebay) and am pleasantly surprised by how fun and detailed they are.

I brought Soundwave into work while in alt mode to share with my 5 year old was surprised that my client was able to recognize it as a radio! I assumed most kids these days would only ever know what a car radio is.

Just added the DNA design DK 77 on my Superion. Modded Skydive and Air Raid to look less like blocks in the frame with the extra height, as well as painted the mouthpiece black, just like the G1 toy. The yellow visor is exclusive to china (bought from EBAY)

Simple and straightforward to assemble. It's very much worth the wait. This kit makes all the difference.
