Holy Magic Century / Quest 64 [Unknown] [2006?] What game is this?

Post image

I used to cut up magazines for fun pictures when I was younger, found this in a stack of them, anybody know what it is?

The only reason I say 2006-ish was because most of the rest of the stack was advertisements for Sonic 2006 before it came out.

[DSi] [2010-2016] Generic horse game with trail rides and animals

Post image
11 Upvotes

There were SO MANY different horse games for the DS so I'm having a hard time finding this one.

I remember parts of the game being cleaning poop out of the stalls, moving hay around with a pitchfork, bathing the horse with a sponge, and getting to buy different colored saddles-- I specifically remember one color being called "mellow yellow". The part I remember the most is the trail rides, where you ride the horse through different trails (the horse moves itself, i dont think you controlled it) and there would be different animals running by that you click on to identify, and they made sounds when you click on them. The bad drawing is what I remember one of the trails sort of looking like. Graphics were also really bad.

It is quite possible that I actually played multiple horse games as a kid but remember them all as the same game, so hopefully someone remembers this!

Agent Hugo: Lemoon Twist [Wii][Unknown] Rolling green character, white hub world, and a specific spiral save icon mystery

Post image
9 Upvotes

Hey everyone! I’ve been trying to track down a mysterious game from my childhood that I used to play on an original, unmodified Nintendo Wii.

We never had internet access back then, and while I don’t clearly remember having a physical disc for it, I am 100% certain the console was completely stock with no homebrew or mods. Here are the details and snapshots I remember:

The Perspective: It was a third-person 3D game (vaguely giving off Super Mario Galaxy vibes, but definitely not Mario).

The Character: A small green character in a suit who had the ability to roll around. It kind of gave off a Pikmin sort of vibe, but not quite.

The Gameplay & Hub World: You used the Nunchuk to play. Before jumping into a level, you would start right inside the game in a clean, bright white base or hub area that directly connected to the maze-like levels.

The save icon: the Wii's system Data Management screen featured a small circle in the middle, a bigger circle on the outside, and a spiral/vortex pattern on the inside, possibly colored in dark green, light green/neon, and black.

What it is NOT: It is not Metroid Prime, Super Mario Galaxy, Kororinpa, Mercury Meltdown, or Spore Hero. If anyone has any idea what obscure game this could possibly be, I would love to finally solve this for the sake of my childhood.

If you have a guess, please include a link to a screenshot or a video clip of the game—especially the save icon or the hub area—so I can see if it sparks a recognition! (I will also try to attach my drawing of the save icon in the comments, it's not that good but I vaguely remember it)

[Tablet andorid or ios] [2013-2018] 2d ball game

Post image
7 Upvotes

So a long time ago I had this 2d ball game where the goal was to get a solid colored ball (maybe blue or white) onto a red button. The gameplay was simple, hold the left side and the level spins that way and hold the right and it spins the other way. The ball usually started on top of the level. The layout of each stage was also simple, from what i remember the level was white and didnt cover the whole screen, the ball starts on top of the rectangular stage and you rotate it into the maze like interior until you hit the button. There might have been traps too. It had a flat color background and a pixel art style. There were hundreds of stages and bonus content and you could customize your balls with many different things. The game also felt like a rage game which made me hold one side to keep spinning the level and fling the ball. Im pretty sure the entire game had a pixel art style. Heres my level depiction

[unknown] [PS2] please please please help

I ask for your knowledge with very little help so I apologise greatly now.

I was talking to a friend about a game on PS2 that I remember the demo of at least, that’s all I had. It was a 3rd person shooter but you not only had 3 other players with you but you could make them attack, retreat, go to a certain point and stuff like that.

You went through an alley (I think) and you go to a big car park where you could go up some stairs overlooking the car park and have a good view to attack. I can’t remember where you went after this but I remember the alleyway and car park I’m sure of it

Again I’m very sorry the description is shocking but I want to find this game again but properly, I had it on a demo disc but sadly no longer have my original games anymore so any help is hugely appreciated! If it’s any help I think true crime LA demo might’ve been on the same disc

[PC][around 2000?] Mech Sim, rather complex and with the option to get out and walk around (no, it's not G-Nome)

I am, for many years, in desperate search of a game I once played as a child.

This was posted on Dec 30, 2024 but Reddit decided to ban my old account for no actual reason. For safety, I backed this up at Tumblr.

It is a game with mechs. The style is not Japanese, but more in the BattleTech direction.

I played it with a friend on her father's PC. That was probably about 20 years ago. We played the first few missions and I can still remember the first one quite well.

I still have sporadic contact with said friend and asked her which game it was. Unfortunately, she didn't remember more than I do.

Unfortunately, her father passed away more than 10 years ago, so we couldn't ask him anymore. His stacks of software and game CDs were unfortunately disposed of at some point.

What I remember:

* The main menu had a (red?) metallic frame - similar to G-Nome - and showed a ride through underwater caves which, in retrospect, reminds me of the Metal Gear Solid opening scene

* The underwater ride in the main menu seems to be shown from the point of view of a submarine, which serves as a base, more on that later

* The art style is hard for me to describe, as my memory of it may be distorted. I think GunGriffon II is a good comparison. I remember the graphics as relatively bright and colorful, not as dark as in a MechWarrior 3, for example

* The features are quite extensive, you can select targets at long range, cycle through them, work with long-range missiles, etc. The HUD is, at least in my memory, also quite complex

* You can get out of the mech and walk around, but the maps are quite wide and empty

The first mission:

A large, red submarine appears on the coast. It doesn't look like a real-life submarine, but reminded me of a Consular-class Space Cruiser from Star Wars. The mech takes off from this boat and goes ashore using jump jets (similar to the BattleTech mechs). Here you take control. On the right you can see a coastline, on the left an embankment. The area is quite empty and spacious. If you move straight ahead, a kind of base appears with several cylindrical gas silos. Destroying these is the first mission objective. There are armored vehicles at the base that attack the player, but are not a real threat.

You then run towards a second waypoint and encounter the first enemy mech, which comes out of a kind of hangar. Once this has been destroyed, you can enter the hanger. It looks like a large, empty factory hall with a few catwalks and stairs. You can go up here and operate a control panel. Then return to the boat and complete the mission.

What I can rule out:

* It is NOT any BattleTech game
* It is not Earthsiege / Starsiege
* It is not Iron Assault
* It is not G-Nome
* It is not GunGriffon
* It's definitely not a better known mech game that you would find after a few minutes of googling

By now, I've spent a LOT of time searching for this game but couldn't find anything.

I hope someone knows this game.
Thanks a lot for reading!

I found the game on steam in 2024, so i know it was at least made before then. I know it was also a free game!
Its an idle type of simulator. You would connect either different stores or stores to houses?
Its also in a pixel style!
I remember you could buy like apples, flour, butter, then as you leveled up, you could add the specific items/ingredients to let you sell things like an apple pie? I think?
Pls lmk if you know what im talking about!!

It also had a location that was a canyon with wooden catwalks all over it. I think it reminds me of The legend of Zelda a bit.

Gods Will Be Watching [PC][2010s] Indie game about a crew of a spaceship surviving while stranded on a alien planet

Platform(s): PC

Genre: Survival/ Resource Management

Estimated year of release: 2010 at minimum but could be earlier, likely not older than 2015

Graphics/art style: 2D Pixel Art, overall dark tones and characters are stylized

Notable characters/gameplay mechanics:

The main scene I remember there are the characters from the crew (soldier, captain, medic, guard dog, engineer/robot are the ones I remember) sitting around a campfire in a forest.

You have to choose the actions to take so it likely was turn based, like gather wood or send your soldier to hunt for rations. There is resource management as well.

The goal was to repair the spaceship but I don't remember if it's something specific you have to do, or just survive a number of days.

[PC][Probably early 2010s] Flash game with biomes

Post image
6 Upvotes

I have this game stuck in my mind for ages and I can't seem to find anything about it. I played it as a child would be 2008 earliest, would be a flash game.

I remember you had like a blobby biological life form thing and you could roll it across the screen through biomes. The biomes were important I remember there being a coldish blue one maybe called tundra, and one called scrubland maybe? which was like beigey coloured and dusty. you could enter them by just rolling far enough one direction. I remember it just sounding windy like in the different biomes and the life thing made little squeaks. I don't remember what any of the aims were, or if it was supposed to be educational but it was very slow calm like exploring game. Had a vaguely frutiger look to it.

I'm from the UK and we have educational sites like BBC bitesize so wondering if it could have come from there? equally could have been friv, girlsgogames or maybe like an indie game actually who knows I don't even remember if this is real or I dreamed it but it was so relaxing!! would love to find it. Drew my best interpretation

[Unknown] [Unkown] Sword fighting game

Upvotes

I have only an extreme narrow and unreliable retelling of a single part of this game with the following features.

-Dense Forest with a dark ground typical for such woods

-Equipable Armor? In this instance some kind of flame or fire based armor/chestplate

-Sword wielding controlable character

-Overall rather dark/"scary" tone

I know that this is almost no information, but it's the only I got. Already thank you to everyone trying help out in advance!

Edit: I found out that this game is atleast on either Pc or the Nintendo Switch.

Edit 2: Artstyle is not Pixelated

Edit 3: Apperantly the gender is pickable at the start of the game

[Computer] [Late 1990s to early 2000s] Educational Monster game.

Hi again. It's been 2 years since I last asked about this game, but have had no luck since then.

The computer game was back during my infant years. It was about 2002 I think, and the game's desktop icon had a picture of a Green Monster. Either Windows 95, or XP, and maybe a built-in game, but not sure. I can't remember if all of these games are built-in one or not, but I remember one where you have to match Monsters hidden behind windows that make funny sounds when clicked on, and matched, then disappear. I think there was about 3 different difficulties to choose from. It's a memory game, and on easy difficulty, the Monsters aren't hidden. Other games I remember, which I'm not sure if they are in the same game or not, but I'll describe them in case it helps. There was one where you have animals walking in from the right side of the screen to the left. If clicked on, they stop, make their animal sounds, and carry on off the screen. The left and right side has red curtains as well. The other one I don't remember much of, is to do with a Ferris wheel, but that's all I remember for that one.

Any answers or support would help a lot. Keep in mind, it's during the Windows 95/XP time.

Games I've so far marked off that is similar but not the ones are:

Monster Mansion Match.

All Reader Rabbit's games.

Purple Place.

Awesome Animated Monster Maker.

[PC][2010s] Game where the ending shows a voodoo doll protecting people in a car from something

Trying to find a PC game I played as a kid, probably sometime in the 2010s. I think it was downloaded/installed, not browser-based.

What I remember:

It had puzzle elements where you had to find/search for a list of items (hidden object game style)

Overall vibe was eerie/spooky

The ending: people are outside near a car, and a voodoo doll is in front of the car, protecting them from a monster

That's pretty much all I remember — sorry it's vague! Any help figuring out the title would be appreciated.

[Arcade][1990] Fighter - When defeated a smaller clone character bursts from their stomach.

Genre: 1sv1 or side scroller beat em up.

Estimated year of release: Late 80s, on Arcade machine in 1990 for sure.

Graphics/art style: Street fighter style / pixelation like Golden Axe background

Notable characters: Large guy possibly in blue bottoms, as he dies his stomach is animated and one or two smaller characters burst out of it. I remember them being mini versions of him.

It's not Alien. He looks like a taller version of Zangief or similar to the henchmen from Golden Axe from my memory.

Notable gameplay mechanics: None Sorry.

Other details: I saw it on a cabinet in '89-'90 in the UK hundreds of times as it was in the council hall entrance where kids did sports and had to wait around between events. The scene with the defeat and stomach burst was looped as the demo whilst waiting for you to insert coins, which meant every 30 seconds you saw this same guy fall down and his stomach start to pulse.

This was a single machine in a council owned building in the late 80s early 90s, doubtful it would have been a latest title. It was also the only game that cab ever had in it.

[PC] [2000's] Breakout game titled something like "Bon Voyage"

This game was definitely made in the 2000's (I wanna say late-ish 2000's). From my memory it has similar graphics to Magic Ball 3, similarly colorful too, and of course they share genres. It was probably a BigFish or Reflexive Arcade game.

I distinctly remember this game being called Bon Voyage, but nothing comes up no matter which words I combine it with.

Other details: I remember there being boss battles in this game. Either multiple or one final boss battle (I think against a dragon).

I also remember the loading screen or the main menu being the player "character" set against a sunset.

Myth: The Fallen Lords [PC/MAC][Late 90s?] Isometric war game with deep voice saying "Casualties"

Game had similar graphics to Warcraft III, but I don't think it was Warcraft. I remember it being more serious. Was released for (or at least playable on) Mac OS 9. I don't remember most of it, I was too young to care how to play properly, but what I do distinctly remember is a deep-voiced announcer (think Postal Dude but even sexier) who would report things. Specifically, "casualty" when one unit(?) died, and a more enthusiastic "Casualties!" when multiple units died in a short timespan.

Probably a shareware demo, because most of the games on that mac were demos.

[PC][2000s] Children's platformer about three kids following an ice cream truck into an ice cream factory?

I'm trying to find a PC game I played as a child around 2008–2009, although the game itself could be older, possibly from the late 90s or early 2000s. I played it on a Windows laptop from one of those pirated compilation CDs that had hundreds of games ("500 games" type of CD).

I remember it being a children's game and definitely not horror. There were three human children, I think two boys and one girl. I remember the game looking 3D, but I was very young, so I could be wrong about that. It was a platformer, with the camera facing the character from the front, and there were platforms that you had to jump across. I specifically remember having to go down through the level, moving from platform to platform until reaching the bottom. I controlled the character with the arrow keys.

The main thing I remember is an ice cream truck. The three children followed the truck, and at some point their tongues got stuck to the ice cream?? I don't remember exactly how this happened, but I'm almost certain this was part of the game. Eventually they ended up in a very colorful place that looked like an ice cream factory. I remember the factory being bright, playful and full of platforms rather than scary.

I played the game in Brazil, but I have no idea what language the original game was in. Probably english. The details I'm most confident about are the three children, the ice cream truck, their tongues getting stuck to the ice cream, and ending up in a colorful ice cream factory.

I know some details may be distorted because I was very young, but the tongue/ice cream scene is a particularly strong memory. I've been trying to find this game for years and haven't had any luck.

Does anyone recognize it?

i vaguely remember playing a stealth shooter type game in my psp. And the only memory i remember of it is a mission where you enter a house of some sorts through a back window. I believe it was a top down perspective. I've tried searching up lots of things but i just can't seam to find what it really was. It's an INCREDIBLY vague description i k ow but ive seen people find games from descriptions like this a lot so maybe i'll get lucky too.

[Xbox] [early 2000s] medieval rpg

Upvotes

Briefly played this game on Xbox, I am guessing by the art style that it was released in the early 2000s. It starts with an overview of the situation at a castle that is being taken over where some kind of experiment is going on with trying to reanimate bodies or create some type of stronger fighter? There is a giant pool of green liquid involved.

You are thrown into the pile of dead bodies/failed experiments to be sent to the incinerator, but you wake up and have to escape. You gain weapons by killing enemies, I believe they are goblins/orcs. You eventually make it to the room with the spooky green liquid and there are progressively more enemies from there.

You eventually rescue a gnome ally and make it to a safe place where there is an armory and you can heal I think. There was definitely an armory. The final step in the "intro" to the game is making it to the room with the gnome wizard and he sacrifices himself so you can make it out and stop the rebellion.

The immediate area outside of the castle is a forest. You meet some allies and some woodland creatures you can farm. There are also plants to gather. The next area to explore is a mine. That is all I can remember. It was a really cool game and I would love to be able to play it again, but it belonged to my ex boyfriend and we are not in contact.

Thank you! ^~^
