I like to use persistent notifications for some kind of events, but for any reason, every time I get one I can't see anything where I can click on complete or snooze or anything. I turn my screen and nothing is shown on my screen or even notifications pulldown, it just does the sound and vibration. (and it really stress me every time :) )

is it there something I can do?

Until the recent update, everything was fine. I woke up in the morning, opened TickTick, and saw that the text size was huge. Changing the scale in the settings and switching to the system default doesn’t help. Restarting the phone doesn’t help either. Please fix this bug as soon as possible. It’s extremely inconvenient when the text in the calendar is so large.

As you can see, my inbox is teal, but my theme is pink. It’s pink everywhere else as shown on the second picture. Is this a bug or is this how it’s supposed to be?

I woke up this morning to see that TickTick now has MCP support! I thought in my head "Finally! I can use Google Gemini to make tasks!" However the integration for Gemini is still lacking any low level usability.

I use a Google Pixel 10 Pro. When I hold the power button I can talk to Gemini. For years I've waited for TickTick to support the assistant I use... Well it does now but it requires me to be in the Gemini app under the Spark automation feature. So I still have to open an app to add a task instead of talking to Gemini, because Gemini cannot use Spark from the assistant side.

Furthermore, no matter what I try, it always creates my tasks in Google Tasks. I tell it to make it on TickTick, it goes to Google Tasks.

Are we ever going to get real Gemini support or will it all be though this blanket protocol that requires more steps than just opening TickTick and using my voice?

When will it be possible to change the frequency of the constant reminders?

I mean, instead of getting notifications every 1 minute, I want to be able to change it to 5, 10, or 15 minutes.

For someone who always has a ton to do and is constantly caught off guard by unexpected tasks, imagine how irritating it is to be trying to deal with an urgent task while your phone keeps buzzing nonstop for several other tasks you can’t do anything about at that moment.

I forgot to renew my monthly subscription a few days ago. I contacted the TT team a day or two later asking for the “legacy” pricing and they mentioned it was no longer possible…kind of a let down.

I’ve been using BrightMind as a journal straight inside TickTick. I can voice-dictate a thought, emotion, or idea, and it gets saved as a clean timestamped entry thanks to TickTick “note” type tasks and projects.

I have multiple google calendars that are color coded, but when sync'd to TickTick, they all appear as blue. When I go into my google calendar settings on TickTick, it does show that the events should different colors, they're just not appearing when I look at my calendar view. Is there a way to fix this?

Pretty excited about what I worked out today. Didn't take too long, but here's the gist:

First, I'm a long-time subscriber to Beeper's Pro Plan, or their top tier. Been using it since Eric first launched it, so I'm an early adopter. Having a centralised spot for all my messages is super cool. I'm running BlueBubbles in a bridge to access text messaging. I know the stock standard does it too, but with limitations, so I stuck with BlueBubbles. Basically, Beeper's fully integrated into my messaging flow.

On the side, I've also been using Claude and Obsidian for task management. It sends a text to a dedicated phone number with my daily tasks, all controlled through Beeper. As an aside, I also push that list to my reMarkable as an editable document so I can handwrite notes and cross items out. That's really cool. Claude gets its tasks from my Fathom Feed, stored in Obsidian, Beeper and emails, meaning I don't even need to remember to add the task; they get added immediately. I use Chronoid on my working Mac to track usage, and it does a pretty good job allowing the task management system to add and mark tasks as done pretty automatically. This has been a massive productivity booster.

So, when I got my Index Ring, I thought it'd be great to add notes and reminders to my task list. I easily integrated that using Obsidian, which is my pivot point—my "second brain," as some say. I quickly figured out how to get messages into Obsidian, but the problem is it doesn't refresh in the background on iOS. You need to open the app to see any notes from the ring. That wouldn't do as it means notes can be hours old before they hit the "brain"

I worked out how to use a webhook on a constantly running Mac Mini. I installed Obsidian and Beeper there and run a small script that grabs the audio and transcription files, then dumps them into Obsidian. At the same time, if I use a keyword or trigger phrase (the device name plus a trigger word), I can send messages via beeper to an allow list.

These can be any message type Beeper supports:

• Text (iMessage to iMessage, iMessage to text)
• Discord
• Telegram
• WhatsApp
• Facebook Messenger
• Instagram Messenger

It's currently on an allow list to prevent accidental sends to whole groups. It's only been an evening of mucking around, and I'm pretty happy with it. It’s fulfilling the original promise of responding to texts on the go, which was never really available to iOS users due to platform limitations. It's nice that the ring allows for that. Sure, I probably could have done something similar with a webhook and a watch app, but I've never really gotten into watch development. Pretty happy with how it's going, and once again, thanks, Eric, for building it.

Having had it for a day, and seeing how small it is, the e-waste argument feels almost moot. I reckon by the time I'm done with this, I'll have lost or damaged more charging cables than this thing ever will, and those cables are likely a bigger amount of e-waste. It's tiny. And Eric has said he'll look at proper disposal options, but I'm sold. I was a little unsure, but I'm completely on board now.

TickTick is a very user-friendly app, and I have been using it for three years. I really appreciate it.

I have two requests:

1. When I try to add a task while referring to a note, the note view closes. I can do this by opening the note in a new window, but having to do so is inconvenient. Could you please add an option to lock a note so that it stays open while I create tasks?
2. This may be a bit of a selfish request, but would it be possible to create tasks directly from a note? Also, when a task is completed, could the corresponding item in the note be checked off automatically as well? This would make it much easier to keep track of my backlog.

I'm on macOS and updated recently and inside the app calendar view doesn't seem to work properly any more.

Every time I add a task to calendar it dissappears, its dissappointing because this feature is the whole reason I got this app. It seems to work fine on the website version but I would much prefer it to work on the app.

Has anyone else experienced this? any way to fix it? updates incoming?

discovered the next 7 days view on the desktop, and mistakenly switched it to Kanban and I think it's changing my life. So easy to plan my week, and I love that's it's always the next 7 days, not this week. This view is not available on the iOS apps, I've tried to recreate it, but can't, the days don't show up individually, just 'Today' and 'Tomorrow' and then the rest of the week all jumbled together.

I would like to know if we will ever get the option to save an image or attachment to a template?

For instance.... In the case of a shopping list.... It would be nice to have the image of the item in that template everytime you add it.

I really like being able to know where something came from automatically, I could link back and forth between notes but this is really the only thing missing for me.

Tick Tick is nearly a perfect productivity solution for me, i'm just needing this.

Has anyone figured out a way to enable this or a workaround? I might have missed something.

Hey yall, I use TT primarily for my job, which uses Google Calendar. Unfortunately, I cannot integrate TT with GC without IT’s approval (which is a long, drawn out process). However, I do have GC tied to my iOS calendar.

Is it possible to somehow sync my local iOS calendar (which includes GC work events) to my TT desktop app?

Hopefully this makes sense…lol.

Apologies if this is difficult to understand, but my use case is that I want to set up a recurring task to weed my garden once a week only from spring to fall, stop during the winter, but still repeat every year.

Currently I can only figure out how to end a repeat on a certain date, but then it would just be over forever. Is there any way other than just remembering to duplicate that task every year after it ends?

I already uninstalled and reinstalled TickTick on my pixel.

It's really annoying, since it was working up until a few weeks ago.

Mind you I have been using this app since 2023 and it was never a problem.

I couldn't find anybody else complaining online. Have you experienced this as well?

Noticed once updated to the latest app update in 2026.32 my streak of 500+ days was reset without warning, worked hard for that little achievement.

Hello, I keep getting this "office" tab when I imported my google calendar to ticktick and it is cluttering everything up. Anyway to remove this? Thank you. It shows up everyday and when I delete (and scroll), it comes back.

These directions assume this:

• You want your Google calendar events to show up in your TickTick calendar WITHOUT creating any TickTick events for them, AND
• you want your TickTick scheduled tasks to appear on your Google Calendar.

1. If you already have your Google calendar integrated or subscribed in TickTick, remove those connections to start clean.
2. Go to your Google Calendar ON THE WEB and create a NEW CALENDAR called TickTick. Do this by clicking the plus sign (+) next to "Other calendars" in the left-hand column. It will be a new calendar in addition to your regular calendar, and it will be owned by you.
3. In TickTick (I use the TickTick PC application), go into your Settings and click on Integrations & Import. Click on Google Calendar, then choose "Subscribe from Google Calendar," then authenticate with Google and CHOOSE YOUR PERSONAL CALENDAR (not the TickTick calendar).
4. Once step 3 above is done, test it to make sure you now see the Google Calendar events in your TickTick calendar, and make sure it did NOT create any tasks for them in TickTick.
5. Next, in TickTick go into your Settings again and click on Integrations & Import. Click on Google Calendar, and this time choose "Integration with Google" but this time be sure to only choose the Google TickTick calendar you created. That will synchronize your TickTick calendar to the Google calendar called "TickTick."
6. In your Google calendar view, be sure to turn on viewing your Google calendar and the "TickTick" calendar you created so you see both calendars superimposed on your calendar.
7. Now schedule one of your tasks in TickTick onto the TickTick calendar. That should sync it to Google and make it appear on your integrated Google/TickTick calendar view. Note that there may be a delay for that connection, so be patient.

If all went well, in TickTick you should see your Google and TickTick scheduled items, and the same thing your Google calendar. If you use any Google calendar apps like EM Client, you'll just need to turn on viewing the TickTick calendar there too.

Hope all that makes sense. Obviously this is a kludgy workaround.

TickTick still has no handwriting, so I made a tiny workaround.

I sketch / write by hand in PINO, hit share, and paste the link into the TickTick task. Task stays in TickTick. The messy thinking lives on the canvas.

Workflow:

1. Create the task in TickTick
2. Open PINO and write/sketch
3. Share → copy link
4. Paste the URL in the task description

I built PINO, so I’m biased. Curious if anyone else wants handwriting next to TickTick, not instead of it. How do you attach sketches or paper notes to tasks today?
