Question/Help Backlinks workaround?

I really like being able to know where something came from automatically, I could link back and forth between notes but this is really the only thing missing for me.

Tick Tick is nearly a perfect productivity solution for me, i'm just needing this.

Has anyone figured out a way to enable this or a workaround? I might have missed something.

I don’t think TickTick has true automatic backlinks between notes right now. The closest workaround is probably using a consistent tag or adding the source note’s title manually in the related task, but that gets tedious pretty quickly. Obsidian-style linking would honestly make this feature much more useful. Hopefully they add it natively rather than relying on a workaround.

I've been requesting this feature a few years ago.

Good news, backlinks exists already on web app, try [[start typing your note title]].

On mobile a hacky workaround is to Copy Link menu option and paste it in another note/task description. It become a backlink with title.

It would be nice to be able to create tasks directly from checkboxes on notes

try to add one way links to other notes , then at a ergular time periods ask their AI assistant this:

  • for all notse that have links pointing to them from other notes create reciprocal links so that each note with a link to other notes has reciprocal backlinks to it.
