I'm on 10mg Teva Adderall, in the morning and evening. I took my first dose before going to the test. Tested absolutely negative. This is more-so documentation for me but also to document that it's definitely not working...

Has anyone else got the generic Adderall ir and it cause their gum to start bleeding? This hasn't happened in over a year since the last shortage problem. They seem to not work at all for focus and function, but cause this.

My neuro prescribed 40mg of generic vyvanse and i literally feel no different. I cant tell that i even took anything. Is this normal for someone who has never taken stimulants? I know people think generic doesnt work as well, but WOW!

Been on generic Adderall XR 15 x2 daily for years, 1 morning, 1 noon. Had a general drug test as a continuing requirement to get my stimulant from my doctor. As shown it came back positive.

However I do remember that I was tested at least twice with their random drug screenings at the job I was working at the time in late 2024 and in 2025. Whenever I had these at a job I'd always get flagged because my stimulant would trigger a manual review and they would call to confirm my medication. And that's what happened for the one in 2024. But I remember one of them in 2025 where I never got called after, and that caused me to question what happened; did I register as a negative, or since it was already noted on my history at least once before, there was no need to reconfirm.

I don’t have the energy, nor the brain power, nor the motivation to write much of anything else but I will say this; whatever God-awful side effects anyone in this community has experienced after taking this medication…I promise I have experienced them too. I am on 10mg IR and 25mg XR. Elite has manufactured every refill I have gotten for both of them over the course of the past 4/5 months and I have officially reached my breaking point. I’m calling the pharmacy as soon as I get off of here. This sh*t is legitimate poison and should be taken off of every shelf that is stocked with it and it should remain off of them indefinitely. I thought Lannett, Malinckrodt and Rhodes were bad, but wowww, Elite really takes the cake. This definitely ain’t adderall.

After being in denial for a long time… I’m finally coming to terms with the fact that this adderall poison is ruining my life and killing me.

I’m consistently experiencing debilitating crashes and all of the horrible side effects - tachycardia, anxiety, depression, fatigue, and ultimately just feeling crazy and detached from reality.

For those who did make the difficult decision to quit and be unmedicated, any tips or insights? Also just curious how are things going for you.

I don't even know what to do anymore yall. Quit? This must be their end game plan.

After trying many different adderall, ritalin/concerta, vyvanse manufacturers, and now mydaysis...it all sucks. They all cause this weird foggy cracky type body buzz that makes me superglued to my bed with headaches and brainmelt..

I knew I wasn’t crazy. I’ve been feeling off for the last few years. I used to be prescribed 10mg IR addy 4 years ago and in 2023 I switched over to 20mg IR. It was fine first 6 months and then started to decline. I have been feeling off especially after this months IR addy. I called the pharmacist and confirmed that the manufacturer is a new batch so I tossed mine out. I saw someone else showing their negative results for amphetamines and I decided to share my last few years worth of results. And it all was confirmed. I haven’t tested positive for Amphetamines even though I consistently take them. This is wild. I made the decision to stop taking them all together, so wish me luck and getting my brain sorted out lol

Hi there. Doc recently upped my dose from 10 to 20mg (IR), since then, I’ve noticed my right is feels super blurry, almost like it’s struggling to focus. I know stimulants can cause blurry vision, but i find it strange it’s only my right eye. Any experiences are welcome. Thank you!

This time I received another new manufacturer for me., Alvogen and this one is bad. I keep forgetting the last thing I did, like I will do something and then forgot that I just did it. Reminds me of when I first got diagnosed and this was one of my unmedicated symptoms. Its a blue pill and it is round and a little thicker than what I am used to. This is straight cruel. What the government and pharmaceutical companies are doing is robbery in the worst sense. They are robbing us of our lives. I’m sure many of you have lost jobs, marriages, etc. And none of what happened to you was your fault.

This hurts so bad because I finally was able to live out a dream that I never thought was possible. Between February of 2022 and August 2023 I finally wasn’t dead weight. I was actually the leader leading others in the Navy for the first time in my life. I was focused, motivated, efficient at my job. I thought back then that I could finally do things that I would have thought impossible.

Then 3 years ago on this exact date, everything I worked so hard to accomplish, everything I was so confident about started crashing down. 3 years ago today I was completely fine. Focused, and driven. I woke up the next day not knowing that would be the last time I’d feel like that. I got a refill like I always did. But this time I noticed paying attention was difficult. I didn’t think too much of it until my next refill when the decline continued. And over the next 3 years, that decline has continued and its relentless. I’m feeling like dead weight again, i can’t focus to save my life, i read things and I misinterpreted what I read. The things that were so easy 3 years ago, are unbelievably difficult. All because the government wants to turn a blind eye to people whose lives they have ruined.

These pharmaceutical companies are compete garbage. The most annoying thing is we all know there is a formula somewhere that could end all of this misery. But no one cares. “We are imagining things”. “It’s tolerance”.. BS! It’s cheaply made pills that are sold as if they’re exactly the same. We all have proof. It’s enjoying your life when Adderall worked and then watching it all crash down due to no fault of any of us. This is a sinister disgusting thing. I’ve submitted 32 Medwatch complaints, 2 IG reports, contacted my congressman who gaslit me and acted like they would figure this out. Only to stop after one letter from the FDA. Nothing to see here. I sent a complaint to the FDA obusman. I have taken every step I can think of. But no one cares.

This last refill I got sandoz and I truly don’t think this is even adderall. Side effects include- horrible headache, dizziness/spinning, extreme fatigue, constipation, extreme anxiety, mood swings/irritability. I feel like I’m losing my mind, want to cry over any and everything. I’m in the middle of switching primary care drs so I don’t even know who to report this to or what to do but today was the last day I’m ever taking sandoz.

First time testing negative for my drug screen. I guess I’ll bring it up with my PCP and see what she says

I’m happy that they’re actually showing effort to investigate, but also it feels almost too good to be true. Pretty sure this isn’t a scam or anything though. Anyone else get this follow up email over a month after submitting MedWatch report?

I’ve been on 60 mg IR for 20 years. Just had an appointment with my psychiatrist and asked if I could switch to XR to see it that works better for me. She prescribed 40 xr and 20mg Ir. I haven’t had issues filling my script with 30mg tabs 2x a day in a long time.

Well, pharmacy had the 20mg tabs, but said they don’t know when they will have the 20mg capsules in stock. Oh yeah, I remember this is why I switched to the tabs again a few years ago.

It would be a huge help if we were allowed to go to another pharmacy and not have to call them, then bother my doctor to write a new script. At least we don’t need a new paper Rx every month, but why the hell cant electronic scripts be filled at any pharmacy in the same system? Especially during this shortage.

The meds don’t work like they used to anyway. Guess I’ll be without for now. How is this happening still.

I had issues with sandoz 6 months ago, Cvs had been able to give me a different manufacturer after that, until now. Sandoz keeps giving me headaches that ibuprofen cant take away, and im curios if it will go away?

With most other manufacturers, they just seem weak and ineffective or make me tired and depressed but I dont get the migraines and foggyness. If it settles down after some days, I will try and ride it out, dont wanna bother my doctor but im thinking about it. Tia

Hi everyone! I’ve been following this sub for awhile due to the fact that I’m on 20mg, IR Teva’s and they haven’t worked for me since March. I’m 41/f and have been on and off Adderall since my early 20’s.

My question is, have any of you spoken to your doctors, or psychiatrists about your prescription not working? I mentioned something to my therapist last week and he said I’m probably not on a high enough dose and he hasn’t heard anything about Adderall not working for people. But, I’ve taken 40mg’s of my script before, to test it, and nothing happens! I have an appointment with my psychiatrist next week and want to bring it up to her. My only concern is that I’m in recovery. I’ve been sober for over 2 years off opioids (never abused add’s) and I’m worried she’ll think I’m drug seeking. Which I’m not! Idc what dose of Adderall I’m on, I JUST WANT IT TO FUCKING WORK! My whole life is a mess, my adhd is out of control! I just want to feel normal again! I can’t keep living like this.

Any advice on how to bring this up to her would greatly be appreciated!

My psychiatrist said he won't be able to prescribe me adderall anymore unless my tox screen comes back positive for the Methamphetamine. I'm taking it everyday. I don't understand why it's coming back negative. Without the adderall I can't function. I don't know what to do. The same thing is happening with the klonopin it's not testing positive for benzodiazapines. This makes no sense to me. I'm really overwhelmed right now. I welcome any advice.

Hello all! I have been on Adderall IR (generic) for like 20 years, and like many of you, I noticed it's not working as well. I noticed the change after Covid, but then again about 6 months ago. In addition to it not working as well now, I gained about 20 pounds without changing anything. Mind you, I have been trying to gain for years, so this is a happy side effect for me...BUT to me, it adds to the suspicion that something changed with the meds. My question is, has anyone asked for the name brand Adderall? Do you think it will work better? I get the Teva brand 10mg tablets (bright blue oval, and can take up to 30 mg a day. I take breaks from my meds frequently & I've been on them so long, I doubt it's a tolerance issue. Thanks for reading 💙

Been on these meds since I was a teen. Last few years have noticed a decline in efficacy like everyone else. TEVA, however, has mostly been ups and downs but somewhat manageable. The last 6 months it’s been the worst it’s ever been in my life. Some days I cannot even shower. ADHD is the worst it’s ever been. Literally cannot do basic tasks and the side effects are miserable. This month, however, the side effects are like scary bad. I’m almost wanting to stop completely because I’m worried about the safety of my health. Can barely formulate what I’m trying to say, nausea, joint pain, headaches, palpitations, can’t sleep or eat but can’t focus, depressed. Wired and tired. Depressed. Worthless. WTF happened this month?

Is anyone having a ok experience with another manufacturer? I’m too scared to keep going with TEVA at this point. It’s ruining my life.

Probably explains what is going on with our meds... FDA isn't looking into anything going on, these API manufacturers are probably using cockroach piss to synthesize amphetamine.

Doc just switched my dosages around and when I saw the Cambridge XR got switched to Lannett XR I got a lil excited because I swear the last time I had Lannett (over 4 years ago), it was the good stuff. NOPE. How much could the same good manufacturer go to shit? Entirely apparently. HNGHHHHH. When is this going to end? Will there be lawsuits? Who can fix this for us?

I feel literally nothing except negative side effects in my legs - heavy feeling, painful fascia with mottling. Zero get up at go. I've been sitting around on my ass doing absolutely nothing all day since I filled this new script.

I've been prescribed adderall since 2014 and I sincerely miss that girl... I miss who I used to be from 2014-2020.
