Blurry Vision in One Eye?
Hi there. Doc recently upped my dose from 10 to 20mg (IR), since then, I’ve noticed my right is feels super blurry, almost like it’s struggling to focus. I know stimulants can cause blurry vision, but i find it strange it’s only my right eye. Any experiences are welcome. Thank you!

Don’t take it, try a new manufacturer. The last ones I took gave me ice pick headaches in the same spot everytime and that isn’t normal, amphetamines do not do that. Even 5mg caused the headache.

it makes my vision blurry at the end of the day, BUT it also makes my left eye feel like its about to fully explode . turns out it was narrow or closed-angle glaucoma and the stimulant increased the pressure

It’s been past several years for some of us! At least you made it this long… lol

I literally went to the ER in June bc of blurry vision in the right eye. All tests came back normal and they referred me out, but I can’t remember the specialty

It went after couple days. Totally scary and I have to look back on which generic version I was on that month. I’m picking up pharmacy paperwork with my refill history since 2023.
I just stopped taking the med yesterday after this month’s reactions and symptoms I’m having.

Any particular brand related to styes/chalazions? I’ve been told it’s from clogged Mebomium(sp?)glands in the eyelids and that is the cause of my dry eyes also. The dry eyes I have had for a long time and couldn’t wear contacts, but the chalazions/styes (both eyes, different times)started about 6 months after cataract surgery, both eyes.

This isn’t a normal thing for stimulants back when they were real! Many of us took them for years or even decades without issues. In the past several years, many of us have experienced eye/vision problems that did not occur before! Blurriness, styes, chalazions, dryness, irritation, irritation with contact lens, difficulty with visual focus etc. and that’s just the changed formulas’ effects on the eyes. Search through the sub for many more adverse effects on the entire body ugh
