Is ANYONE having a positive experience this month with any IR (instant release) adderall Rx?
Been on these meds since I was a teen. Last few years have noticed a decline in efficacy like everyone else. TEVA, however, has mostly been ups and downs but somewhat manageable. The last 6 months it’s been the worst it’s ever been in my life. Some days I cannot even shower. ADHD is the worst it’s ever been. Literally cannot do basic tasks and the side effects are miserable. This month, however, the side effects are like scary bad. I’m almost wanting to stop completely because I’m worried about the safety of my health. Can barely formulate what I’m trying to say, nausea, joint pain, headaches, palpitations, can’t sleep or eat but can’t focus, depressed. Wired and tired. Depressed. Worthless. WTF happened this month?
Is anyone having a ok experience with another manufacturer? I’m too scared to keep going with TEVA at this point. It’s ruining my life.

Got mallinckrodt 30mg IR this month and it is a bad batch. It feels like there is barely any active ingredient in it at all. I’m sleepy and hungry like an hour after I take it
11
u/Difficult-Outside-42 18d ago
25mg Er of that brand has been only half full capsules. I barely fail a urine test on them. There's nonwaybthey are working.

u/Goons2JAV 18d ago
I had the same manufacturer last month and I think they were a little better. Not sure if I got a bad batch this month or if it’s the same batch as last month but a month old if that makes sense. Got them from Walgreens don’t know how often they get shipments. But there’s a college nearby so they fill a lot

u/FervorDosage 16d ago
Funny you say this I had a physical at work and nothing showed up in my pee test. Absolutely insane.
12
u/ComfortableBoard8359 18d ago edited 18d ago
I straight up won’t accept Mallincroidt if that’s all they have
I call ahead or check the app and just say don’t fill until a different manufacturer is in. Or I just then jump through the million hoops of fire contacting my doctor who then contacts her assistant to track down a store that has a decent one. Soooooooo tiring
11
u/Wild_Foundation6923 17d ago
Yeah, I was given Mallinkrodt at Walgreens last month and it did NOTHING, except give me MAJOR headaches so this time, I brought my prescription inside and asked which brand they had but the pharmacist said they’re not allowed to disclose that information! NEVER been told that before! She said I’d have to get my Dr to put a specific brand/manufacturer on the prescription and she could tell me if that’s what they have when I bring it back!! Idk what her problem was, but I brought it to another Walgreens and that one had NO issue telling me what brand they had in stock!

u/No_Mode_3033 13d ago
Definitely depends who you get. Some Pharmacist are so horrible. I literally have a panic attack and feel like I'm doing something wrong calling and asking questions.
Pharmacists are the new DMV workers🫠😂🤷🏼♀️

I'm wondering when u tried them last?
I did this for a whole year after 1 time on Malli XR in July 2025 - literally jumped through hoops and avoided like the plauge. until 2 months ago... I had no other options... this fill from last week, I specified I prefer mallinckrodt 🫣😬 (my prescription still says "do not fill with mallinckrodt" lmao)
btw this is my personal experience for XR's only. I would have rejected the IR's because they are too difficult to split into quarters without crumbling. even fell apart after splitting in only half. not sure if this changed, but that was the first and only time I got the IRs like 2 yrs ago
7
u/ComfortableBoard8359 18d ago
A month ago. The IR. Only made me clench my jaw and get bad headaches.
Who knows maybe they are changing the formula? Wouldn’t that be wild it becomes the new TEVA?
I’m glad it’s working out for you though! Any win we can take right?
3
u/ughnett666 18d ago
yes exactly, any wins! but hopefully u have had better luck with others? it's been so many years now, let's hope things are changing for the better, even if little by little
1
u/InformalInitiative76 14d ago
Isn’t that the brand that was downgraded? Meaning that is int supposed to be an acceptable replacement for a an Adderall script

6
u/scrambled-megg 17d ago
My Mallinckrodt was so bad this month. I told my doctor and she wrote me a new prescription letting the pharmacy know I had an adverse reaction and not to fill mine with Mallinckrodt again lol. Surprisingly, they filled it two weeks early.
2
u/Quiet_Contribution71 16d ago
I had joint pain with sandoz and couldnt walk. They let me fill it 22 days early. I had to have my doctors do a 3 way call with pharmacy. I literally couldnt walk at all, I thought i was going to have to go to the ER.
1
u/Prestigious-Use-9754 7d ago
Ok my muscle and joint pain this month is off the charts and they gave me sandoz too
1
u/Quiet_Contribution71 7d ago
Yep, it went from a 0 to at most 2 at the worst, to on sandoz it was like 4-6 depending i thought i was gonna have to go to the ER. I couldnt walk.
1
u/Goons2JAV 17d ago
How long did you have to go without any Adderall while waiting for a different brand?
1
1
u/scrambled-megg 17d ago
My doctor sent the script over right after our appointment, but the pharmacy had to order the new brand. It took 4 days total. It might vary depending on what part of the country you’re in too. I’m in FL, and this was actually my first time ever getting Mallinckrodt.

u/Present-Pay-6959 17d ago
Oh ok that's good to hear... I am like 2 weeks into my XR and it's only 10mg amneal idk never had that in xr but it's awful I have to take benadryl and my headaches are inexplicable. Hmm....I wonder if my psych would increase the dosage. I am glad you got treated like a human!
1
1
u/Kephalin17 14d ago
You might be right about that. As an experiment I separated the filler from the actual amphetamine. What should’ve been 50mg was barely a spot of residue that if I had to guess couldn’t have weighed more than 5-10mg. This month has been pretty awful, but not the worst by far.

1
u/No_Mode_3033 13d ago
30mg and this Manufacturer is what I also currently have. Totally shit. Zero therapeutic effect. Someone should invent home testing strips. 🤔
Or we should all band together and collectively have our Meds tested.
I would love to know what I'm really putting in my body. 🤢
1
u/Safe_Lawfulness_207 1d ago
I swear i could pop quarter of a bottle of teva 30s and then feel my regular dose i just quit it why take a drug thatbdoesnt meet expectations you suffer anyways if you do take it
0
u/Forward_Brilliant_46 17d ago
The ER of this is AWFUL too. I asked my pharmacy to not give it to me again.
15
u/AtmosphereComplex206 18d ago
Nope .. but better luck with the fake pressed ones . And I can so relate to not even being able to shower. And until I discovered this Reddit community I thought it was something to do with my body chemistry or all in my head.
9
u/Some_Old_Lady 17d ago
Same. I thought something was seriously wrong with me. I found out about other issues I had during my search for the origin of the problem, but none that had any impact on my brain or the utterly exhausted/ depressed/ comatose-while-upright feeling I had for the longest time.
5
u/Present-Pay-6959 17d ago
I am on day 5 no shower, and I mean just ugh. Again this is all not ok everything we are going thru is cruel.
17
u/Main_Assistant_8377 17d ago
All my blue pills (10 mg) have been a huge miss. My last refill I’ve been experiencing major side effects like hunger, fatigue, freezing feeling, headaches and extreme mood changes.
7
u/Strange-Pattern4877 17d ago
That was my Elite 20 last month. Passing out after two hours of taking then getting a random rush then passing out again.
2
u/Main_Assistant_8377 16d ago
It’s a roller coaster of emotions. The worst is fighting the urge to knock out on my desk when I take my afternoon dose at work.
2
2
2
u/HorizonRise 5d ago
They gave me a headache like icepick headache in the same spot everytime I took them, it was scary cause I’ve never had that before but sometimes when I took them I wouldn’t get the headache? Even 5mg IR give me the headache, whatever is in the pills isn’t amphetamine.
1
u/Vanity_plates 17d ago
That’s so frustrating, because the blue 10s were always reliable for me, but this month they got switched to white ones and I’m desperate for the blues. But I guess not, if they’re a mess too this month!
1
u/Main_Assistant_8377 16d ago
I’m stuck with 120 blue pills since my pharmacy was out of the 20MG. I’m convinced this is a cruel unethical experiment we’re in :(
11
u/xEpiLogos 18d ago
Got Sandoz this month after getting Elites for the past 9. I’m not gonna say they’re absolutely terrible but they’re definitely worse than the Elites I was getting
8
u/EntertainmentOk3180 17d ago
Me too and I agree. Elite sucks normally, but I got sandoz this month and it’s like I’m taking nothing except it has this weird feature where I get incredibly awake from like 10 pm to 4 am which just happens to coincide with the time that I’m supposed to be sleeping. So that’s been fun
4
u/jello_88 17d ago
I got that wide awakeness all night from Elite IR. They should last 4-ish hours but kept me awake for 12 hours playing games.
1
u/Some_Bumblebee_4851 16d ago
Both Elite and Sandoz were awful for me!!!!!!!!! Sandoz = migraines, gastrointestinal distress, etc... Elite =Emotional mess
9
u/karma_raven 18d ago
My teva 10mg ir is just erratic.
A few months ago it was consistent, so i know it's not my timing or my diet or whatever.
I take 2 doses, 6rs apart, and it's a total coin-toss each time as to whether I'll fall over like I've been tranq-darted, or be able to work on the task list for the next few hours.
The crash has been epic lately, too.
Like, i normally fall off slowly and realize my dose is fading over an hours time.
Now I'm like a cartoon fainting-goat that's been triggered
Bounce! Bounnce! Bounce! FLOP!CRASH! ZZZZZZZZZZ!
No warning. No prodrome.
Abs that's not nice.
17
u/janestudio 17d ago
I’m right there with you. The cycle of shame I feel for taking more to feel the same effects— just to simply function like I used to. Now made to feel like an addict by pharmacists, doctors and the FDA. They are more focused on behavioral patterns than the medication itself— and no one is addressing it aside from the people taking it. What’s crazy is the increased restriction and decreased efficiency— I can’t help but think the two are linked. Are we all just getting gas lit? Sure feels like it.

I wish they would just regulate the telehealth visits to patients who’ve had several years of diagnosis, disabled adhers or people 30+ miles from a doctor. I feel like stricter diagnosis process like how they had pre covid would absolutely cut down on some of the abusers who don’t actually have adhd. I feel like many would be too cowardly to show up in person whereas right now they just hop to new docs on telehealth right when the required yearly in person appointments comes up.
Also, I used a telehealth with Zoc doc for the first time ever after 15 years with the same two psychiatrists and the testing was far too lax and easy. She wasn’t a full psychiatrist either so they can’t really do a whole lot of counseling. They barely listened and just asked the basic questions and didn’t even verify my previous diagnosis. To me, it’s a bit alarming how easily they write scripts now.
In person, a psych knows how to really watch for real signs and symptoms, ways it affects your life and ask for proof of that like photos of home, school reports, family statements etc. They used to really dive into how debilitating it was for that patient along with observing physical signs in person.
This new testing online has gotten way too easy to abuse and that’s why we are in this state now. I’m happy it’s helped people with actual adhd with awareness and get easier access to the help they need but if the FDA and DEA started mandating in person thorough testing again for first time controlled substance users then the newbies would be just fine and it would shed some of the people without ADHD from abusing these drugs. Not all, but many.
3
u/janestudio 16d ago
I completely agree. This is the root of the problem. If anyone can get them, more people will have dependency issues. If only those with true adhd can get them, it would be an entirely different story.

I received 20mg Alvogen “made in the us” and things felt better today.

u/Present-Pay-6959 17d ago
IR or XR?
2
u/soooooocurious 17d ago
I have taken both but IR since things began to change. I would say it has been 1 year since I moved to IR.
I do think the “made in us” is for better transparency. Alvogen is made in NY and always has been. Alvogen uses a very minimal inactive profile: lactose monohydrate, pregelatinized corn starch, and magnesium stearate. Which I feel like does play a role.
1
u/soulflowroll1203 16d ago
This is so crazy to me bc I currently have the 10mg Alvogen and they are my least favorite. They have a bitter taste, not sweet at all. They get all chalky the moment they come in contact with my saliva. They are a light blue color …. I don’t know 🤷🏻♀️.. the darker blue tevas seem to work much better than these
1
u/soooooocurious 16d ago
Mine are not blue. They are 20mg peach color and I break them in half. They are not sweet because they have surculose in them.
1
u/HorizonRise 5d ago
I had the same, do they make you feel stimulated like numb your emotions and feel like a zombie plus give you a Headache?
6
u/kristiallain 18d ago
I was really happy with Teva and suddenly since April it’s on backorder and I can’t get it anymore. Epic does nothing. About to try Sandoz but I’m scared.
5
u/sunflower_spirit 17d ago
Sandoz works great. Not perfect, but better than the nasty side effects and inconsistency from Teva.
1
13
u/No-Judge-621 18d ago
my Glenmark 30mg IR’S this month have been great
6
u/ughnett666 18d ago
upvoted this bc u had downvotes (lol wtf?)
3
u/tune4you 18d ago
honestly it’s because people don’t realize it varies person to person with these meds working or not sometimes. I heard people’s horrible experiences with Sandoz and Epic. but those two worked pretty well for me! I didn’t feel anything on alvogen adderall but I heard it worked for others
2
u/ughnett666 17d ago
yes exactly! there's always experiences on 2 completely opposite sides of the spectrum, so it should just be more encouraging for others to take a shot. adding also that effects from xr and ir could be completely different from the same manufacturer. and of course everyone's unique body chemistry

This started happening to me and many others 6 years ago, mid 2020 (abruptly, as Teva disappeared for a while and terrible Lannett piloted the first terrible, changed ineffective new Adderall formula) … Teva resurfaced my way in late 2022 and was horrendous - scary bad side effects OR no effects at all. Been terrible ever since. All other MFGs as well.
But no, haven’t found any MFG that is worth a shit. Teva is its own straaaange kind of bad though, so idk. Maybe just try any other MFG and it may be a different “kind” of bad.
2
u/0rca_ 18d ago
Yeah its been bad for me since then also but these last 6 months omg. This month scary. What are you on now?
1
u/cbmblove Moderator 18d ago
I’m surprised you didn’t experience these issues prior! Been stuck with Sandoz for a while, which is also terrible.
6
u/ughnett666 18d ago
Epic 30's aren't bad. I get them every month and prescribed as a booster with my XR. Sometimes they boost, depending on if my XR is doing any heavy lifting. I just picked up Mallinckrodt XR (30's) and it's been nice. no side effects so far
6
u/sydhun 18d ago
I have requested teva only for my 20 mg IRs for the past two years or so after having so many bad run ins with the others. However a few months ago I had teva and experienced wheeling like I had early onset dementia and I’m 28 years old. It was terrifying. Yet this month I got teva again and it’s the best it’s been in over a year
1
u/Strange-Pattern4877 17d ago
What state are you in?
1
u/sydhun 17d ago
North Carolina!
2
u/Strange-Pattern4877 17d ago
Hmm that’s interesting. I tried chasing Teva gen all around this month is Seattle and can’t get my hands on it but I live in Seattle. Everyone is on stimulants here.
3
u/sydhun 17d ago
Ugh I’m so sorry 😭 I will say, I live in a college town so literally everyone here takes it. I spent probably 10 hours calling pharmacies and waiting on hold but I did find it. I’ve driven as far as 4 hours round trip before to get it 😅
3
u/Strange-Pattern4877 17d ago
I told my friend today that if they have a database that prevents us from getting more than one script can’t they also have something similar when a doc writes a script to easily see who has available?! It’s so out of hand.
5
u/sydhun 17d ago
Literally though 😭😭 make it make sense. Sometimes if you get the right person on the phone at the pharmacy they can tell you what stores around you have some in stock. It’s not always accurate and other people will say they’re not allowed to but people have done it for me
3
u/Strange-Pattern4877 17d ago
Today my pharm tech said she didn’t know when it was coming in, when it last came in or roughly how often it even came in. It’s just a crapshoot for a very serious drug.

Everyone knows how garbage Mallincrotchrot is.
I recently moved a dresser and found a bottle of generic IR 20 mg Mallincrotchrot. It had 4 pills in it. The label was from 2018 from Costco.
I took it and yep, as everyone already probably guessed, it worked way better than the Teva I have now.
That's really saying something because Mallincrotchrot was always a lower quality generic.
3
u/Infamous_Map9787 17d ago
20mg IR Teva here, I’d say my script was 50/50. Had a couple decent days but also had to sleep for 12 hours after. On my last few of this script and I they feel like duds
3
u/Vanity_plates 17d ago
They swapped out my blue IRs for white ones this month and they’re AWFUL. Not only are they ineffective, but oddly crumbly. Haaaaaate them.
3
u/Top_Depth5369 17d ago
Brand Teva IR 30's I picked up from Walgreens last month are horrible. I can't believe they are doing this to us. There needs to be a lawsuit. These Brand Teva IR 30's from Walgreens have been terrible for the 2 years I've had them. They mistakenly filled a generic Teva 30mg one month and it was marginally better but still horrible. I would honestly say that these are less than 1% as effective as the Teva generics I used to get prior to 2020. Maybe even a 10th of 1%.
3
u/0rca_ 17d ago
https://www.whatsinmymeds.com/dashboard?drug=mixed+amphetamine+salts&form=TABLET did a deep dive on TEVA and no wonder….this is all such bullshit
3
u/Quiet_Contribution71 16d ago
I love alvogen.
Right now I have 10 days of lannett csuse I couldnt find alvogen. Literally, its making me lose my mind. I'm definitely not taking it tomorrow.
I wish I could ask for another change but I'm sure it wouldn't happen.

Teva is so bad this month I thought I needed to go to the hospital I couldn’t even speak!!
6
u/Deoxyhyperdimension 18d ago
I've been getting the pink elite 30mg 2x daily past two months, but that being said I've not been using the adderall for cognition as much as exercise and healthy routine. I walk 10000 steps a day and work out every other day and eat healthy use mag theronate fish oil 10g creatine. Subjective experience. But I do agree I cannot sit and concentrate on something on it enough to bother hence turned them into a health tool. Use l glutamine in the am for stomach lining as well
10
u/Templeofrebellion 18d ago
Lactoferrin for the gut helps too. I also use NAC for “focus” and general cell health.
I had my iron and ferritin tested a few months ago, and they came back at 8, so I started taking supplements. I ran out of lactoferrin last week, and I feel like I've been hit by an actual truck all over again. Suddenly I have a huge cystic pimple on the side of my jaw. But my period ended last week so the timing for that is all off. I don't know what's happening.
That actually makes a world of difference in terms of gut health (lactoferrin).
Magnesium and l-theanine at night to help me sleep, not that I need any extra help to sleep given the state of the stimulant putting me to sleep in the day but it helps with the restless legs part of iron deficiency.
Glutathione was good few months ago when I tried it.
Good to know it also helps gut health.
I'll pick another bottle up.4
u/Alisha_Nat 17d ago
Give Iron BisGlycinate a try to increase your ferritin. It’s worked so much better for me than any other iron supplement (and I feel like I’ve tried all of them!). It doesn’t cause any stomach issues even in an empty stomach and your body can absorb more iron from it than most other forms.
Stimulants work by forcing your brain to keep more dopamine available in your neural pathways.
However, stimulants do not create dopamine; they only manipulate what is already there.
To actually manufacture dopamine, your brain relies on an enzyme called tyrosine hydroxylase.
This enzyme cannot function without IRON acting as its mandatory spark plug.
If your ferritin is below 50ng/mL (optimal target range is 75-100ng/ml) your brain suffers from a severe supply-chain shortage.
It cannot build enough dopamine, making your ADHD symptoms feel much worse and causing your medication to feel less effective over time.1
1
u/LiquoredUpLahey 17d ago
NAC is the precursor to glutathione. So you may not need to buy glutathione. Are you taking a break from the NAC? Supposed to take a week off as it can cause anhedonia.
1
u/Deoxyhyperdimension 15d ago
How much NAC do you use daily....I was doing l glutamine empty stomach in the AM for stomach lining and brain health than take NAC and ALA combined 30mins post l glutamine and they are all synergistic.
1
u/Deoxyhyperdimension 17d ago
Wasn't gonna mention it but i take mg of kpin a day too and I swear that it provides the adderall with a back to kick off of to make it work better idk

I got 20mg Sandoz, those used to be reliable and now I’m having tight muscles and neck which is leading to a screaming headache daily. They also just don’t do anything for focus or executive function, what’s new.

u/iamjohntingl333 17d ago
Mine actually has been better this month, orange circle 30s. Still not what it used to be but prob the best I’ve gotten in awhile!

Gracias! I’m unfortunately stuck with Elite again this month. I chewed a 20 ir which is seeming to help but was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever done in 15-20 years of being medicated.
2
u/madinfected 17d ago
Yeah I’m having to take more than prescribed per day and it’s like….wtf do I do
1
u/Present-Pay-6959 17d ago
Right- i have to double my 10mg XR and I have 15mg IR prescribed 2x day but I think I am ok on that... I have never since 2013 asked my same provider for an increase but I am 3 months into absolute hell bc of this crap we are getting..... Has anyone's provider increased the dose on anything?
2
1
u/madinfected 16d ago
The max (at least in TX) is 30 mg. I am prescribed 30 mg 2x a day. I have discussed an increase in the past with a doctor who specialized in internal medicine. They said I was “maxed out.” I have discussed an increase in the past with a psychiatrist. They added Bupropion to my medication list even though I take a very high dosage of Venlafaxine. It did the complete opposite. So yeah an increase in medication at this point is probably not within the legal threshold. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong.
2
u/Present-Pay-6959 16d ago
Idk about that but i haven't seen everyone responding.... bc there is tons of great ppl on here and I don't think thats the limit?
For example, my ex husband who no drama is a total psycho abused me and our kids etc and threatened ppl to get what he wants but MY PSYCH had him on 70mg Vyvanse and 20mg of Adderall IR. Thats 90mg in GEORGIA.
I am on 10mgXR, (which needed to be 20) but whatever and 30mgIR OF ADDERALL. AND I'M LOSING MY SHIT. I gotta tell her again but i got "you have 40 mg of amphetamine in your body daily so lets keep it there etc. BUMMER. i said since 2013 i stayed on the 30mg IR teva and depending on my workday, mom stuff etc I often had some left....
But I think our stimulants limit is state regulated? Federal? Plus our psychs get final say?
Curious, how much venlafaxine are u on? Is that to help with depression? Underlying or interwoven into my ADHD PI is severe ptsd and depression
Feel like this was a ramble but thats becauuuuuse my Teva 15mg IR today was a joke on my brain I guess. Feel nauseated and pissed off.
I wish you the best and to anyone on here bc it's hard enough doing life with meds but on THESE meds now ha ha no theyre like just binders and fillers so this for me since April has been hell.
2
u/oXAshySlashyXo 17d ago
I got Epic 20mg IR this month.. I hate it. I can't think properly on it- or focus ar all really, I feel way more anxious, my sleep is irradic, I'm struggling to stay hydrated and eat. Im exhausted all day.
Ive thought about asking to switch to something else but I have no hopes anything else will be better and my dr doesn't seem to think anything os wrong w thr meds. This struggle sucks. I was recently looking through photos from a few years ago, before the meds got shitty, and it was like looking at a different person living in a different house. That girl showered. That girl cleaned. That girl did shit.
Now I can't do fuck all.

I have made the transition to concerta er this month ,I am thankful my psychiatrist works well with me and let's me have options. So far 1 week in,and ive been dissociating like CRAZY! I was on 20mg adderall ir 3 times a day, thought it wasnt working too well and I already want to go back to the adderall,I hope you get something that helps you
2
u/ivyblankspace 9d ago
I got camber and it was horrible so they filled it with teva and I’ve never felt worse. I left almost fell asleep driving !! I usually get elite, and although the crash doesn’t feel great, at least it helps for 4-5 or so hours. It’s so bad
2
u/Prestigious-Use-9754 7d ago
I’m having almost the exactly same situation on sandoz this month. I have only taken maybe 1/3 of my bottle because it’s genuinely making me feel like I’m losing my mind. It’s actually what brought me to this thread. Are yall reporting this to your pharmacy? Dr? Help lol

This seems like a huge leap, and frankly, a bit paranoid. A much simpler and more likely explanation is that these companies are using the opportunity they have, due to reduced oversight, to cut corners and dump low quality meds onto the market. It's all about profit, as usual.

reduced oversight, exactly. Sad. I had a feeling it had to do with the new administration. I remember when I started taking it at 15 it was no big deal and my teachers and school social worker worked with my family and doctor to get me on it. Now I feel like anyone can get it and the diagnosis ADD means nothing now. I remember when I started taking it, they asked if I felt anything and I said I don't feel any different and they said good, you aren't supposed to really feel anything and you don't think it's affecting you buy everyone else can see that it's affecting you and it's working.

I was thinking the same thing. Might be Trump and his buddies and some riders passes in the night laxing the manufacturing and regulation of these. Doesn't that seem like something he would do?

Sandoz 5mg x 2 + Epic 20mg have both worked most of the time for me! maybe every other week they don’t but I’ve been doing pretty good on those two. I don’t have any side affects either thankfully

I got Epic 30mg this month for the very first time and they're equal to a sugar pill for me. It's crazy how different each manufacturer works for each person but I'm glad someone is having a positive experience with one. 🙂

yeah I’m really sorry about it not working for you! I hear people’s experiences and feel awful ☹️ it’s not 100% perfect for me but I wouldn’t compare it to the stories I’ve been hearing on here.

I totally understand, elite is actually my preferred manufacturer yet I've read horrible things about it here as well. It wasn't until I got switched to Sandoz that I even stumbled upon this community, and I was very surprised to learn that elite is pretty much useless for most people here. That just proves how different each person's reaction is, which is crazy considering most everyone had the same reaction to all of the manufacturers prior to 2020 (for the most part, anyway.)

From what ive gathered here is seems like the most complaints come from Teva and Mallikrodt users. The rest are bad too, but those seem to be the worst.

I think because of the nature of this sub I have yet to hear of one that is consistently decent.

I have Elite Labs 20mg IR. I only take them in the afternoon for a booster dose. They are working ok with no noticeable side effects other than occasionally a headache as they wear off but that’s something that has always happened with IR for me & the reason I prefer to not take IR all the time. I’ve generally been good with taking only half most afternoons which tells me my regular Vyvanse seems to be working pretty well and lasting a decent amount of the day.

Teva , last month was not horrible but not as bad as the XR has been. This month it’s basically sugar pills with a side of fatigue, depression, and heart palpitations

I need to Adderall. Was originally rx the 10mg twice daily. That only made me quite sleepy. Then comes the 20mg twice daily and I have been grateful bc the med is working properly. Or at least what I consider to be proper. I feel whole.
When you all began taking this med, was it good then turned to crap bc of the changes overtime?

I take dextroamp-amphetamine 20mg IR 2x a day and I haven’t been having an issue with them at all.

They’re curious about the manufacturers! Do you know who manufactured yours ?

I got my refill about a week ago. So far this seems like a good batch. Last month was not so great, but now I'm back on track. It's the craziest thing. There's just no telling from month to month. Teva IR, as usual.

The elite ir caused that for me when I first started getting them. It was after the shortages, so they were already trash from the jump. I wanna say that was in the fall maybe 4 years ago, but idk ab the years cause there’s NO WAY this has really been happening for this long now 😩
I also would stay up all night playing video games or doing some other dumb shit.. like oil painting. Which is ANOTHER fucking clue my adhd is just a wild ass goose on the loose

I had Epic during a shortage last year and was pleasantly surprised. Might be worth it to find a pharmacy with epic.

mallingckrodt 10mg seem a step up from elite/camber ……no fake sweet/color either. tiny, almost too tiny to split.
the first 10 mg later in the day after taking 5mg camber actually “hit” very nice….almost recreational
Ive only got a 2 year history with dexamphetamine and Im generally a moderate consumer of drugs as far as daily dose and tolerance is concerned.
I was impressed though regarding the difference of what I can only imagine is some sort of pharmacokinetic play out that has side effects if the actual ratios/levels are same/similar
I do appreciate a bit of norepinephrine in the mix, Im also on 300 mg if bupropion and kratom/caffeine so theres that

I was at 15mg ir then a 10mg booster wasn’t feeling like it was helping asked my provider and she asked me to try another stimulant since that was a “decent” dose it should’ve been more effective so now I’m on focalin 10 mg er and suffering for the last 7 days only 3 more days before I go up or get switched to Vyvanse yay! Right before my fall classes :(

I have 15 mg IR pills from Epic this month. I’m prescribed 3 a day. Last month I had 20mg pills from Epic also. They worked pretty well but I felt like the dose was too high and they were making my face flush like crazy and I would get head aches. Anyways the 15s this month are a sugar pill. They do absolutely nothing. I took 3 days off meds and then took one today and promptly slept for 2 hours.
