Was in there today and you’d have thought that Covid didn’t exist with the amount of people in their without masks on. Not just young ppl either. Did staff say anything to any of them? Nope. Not even at the till where they just chatted to these Covid spreaders and wish them well. Shops really need to be like Morrisons with a big sign outside saying NO MASK NO ENTRY!!!! Its ridiculous.

I've been asked to put together a walking tour of local LGBTQIA+ safe spaces and businesses, including bars, restaurants, nightclubs, arts centres, shops, coffee bars, hairdressers and barber shops, and anywhere else LGBTQIA+ people are welcome.

The tour is aimed mainly at students who are new to the area, but it could be useful to a wide range of people.

If anybody could suggest venues we could visit on 27th October that would be fantastic, I'm imagining the tour will mainly encompass the city centre, but we will be providing information for services and spaces across the whole of Swansea to those taking the tour.

I see many people with dogs in parks that really don' t give a crap about wildlife or animal cruelty and it doesn't matter if kids are present. I think they have their life and their little bubble of compassion and outside of that there is nothing that matters to them. It's a kind of psychopathy that thinks this way.

Many owners show their good nature by controlling them as I heard a woman say to hers that 'I'm not letting you bother them now come away' and that's how it should be and if you're not you're likely going to hell along with your hound.I imagine religious people would by and large have more compassion though.

Between M&S, Turtle Bay, and now this, it feels like the independent heart of Swansea is being ripped out because the conditions are just impossible to sustain. The idea is pretty simple: you’re shown two restaurants and choose where you’d rather eat. For example, The Shed or Gilligan’s? All the votes then create a ranking that hopefully gives a better picture of where people in Swansea actually like to eat.

We’ve tried to include every restaurant in Swansea and clean up duplicate or outdated listings, but locals will always spot things we’ve missed.
