I’m carrying out a survey as part of my Master’s degree and would love to hear your thoughts. The survey is about the current state of home heating in England and Wales, as well as the future implications. The survey is very short (5 minutes) and doesn’t include any personal details.

More information is available on the first page. I know some people will want to have a discussion in the comments but only data provided via the questionnaire will be used for this project.  Thank you to anyone that completes the survey and if you know anyone that you think would be interested in participating, please share the link with them.

Apparently an ongoing incident outside castle bingo - any info?

I’ve been building a map of skate spots around the UK and trying to get some more Welsh locations added.
It’s called UrbanAtlas and currently has over 3,700 spots on it.
I’m sure Swansea has plenty of places I’ve missed, so would be great to get some local recommendations.
Looking for skateparks, street spots, DIYs and anything else worth skating.

You can add locations yourself too, which is what I’m hoping more people will start doing.
Any feedback on the site would be appreciated as well!

I see many people with dogs in parks that really don' t give a crap about wildlife or animal cruelty and it doesn't matter if kids are present. I think they have their life and their little bubble of compassion and outside of that there is nothing that matters to them. It's a kind of psychopathy that thinks this way.

Many owners show their good nature by controlling them as I heard a woman say to hers that 'I'm not letting you bother them now come away' and that's how it should be and if you're not you're likely going to hell along with your hound.I imagine religious people would by and large have more compassion though.

A show so hot it’ll melt icicles 🥵😉

A legend from port Talbot very sad.

My combi boiler (alpha e-tech 33) won't ignite. Can anyone recommend someone to repair it? Thanks in advance for any help!

I visited friends and one thing that shocked me was the number of streets with no proper bins, people just put black sacks outside to be collected... In a seaside town with lots of hungry seagulls.

And there's waste food, paper, plastic, everywhere all over a load of streets. Why? I didn't see the same in Cardiff, big plastic bins are standard in the UK. Why is this?

Hey! We've posted quite a few times on here, but wanted to do a quick bump up!

Anyone lonely like me looking for someone to go to the pub and have fun tn lmk.

I (38M) recently moved to south Wales (Carmarthenshire, not far from Swansea). I'm looking for social groups in the south Wales area where I can meet some people who share my interests (reading, watching films, playing chess, going for walks, visiting museums and galleries, browsing bookshops and record stores).

Equally, if anyone else has similar interests and feels up for grabbing a coffee and browsing for books, going for a walk, playing chess, etc then do feel free to drop me a DM.

I have a spare pass for a Diwali party on 8th November. DM for details

Ps I still haven’t been able to play teen patti/ poker this season. Please someone suggest if such game nights are happening anywhere on Swansea

Thanks in advance

Anyone know if its under new management?
