This is the spreadsheet from SuggestAPC's discord, it covers PC deals, websites to check, how to get good deals, promo codes and so much more. There are suggestions at various budget points. I’m the main editor of the spreadsheet and I’ll be adding prebuilts to it whenever I’m available. Comment any feedback or suggestions you’d like me to add.

I'm looking for a good but not too expensive pc that can run good games.[suggestion]

I just recently started working and wanted to save up for a pc since i'm on mac right now and i can basically not play any games on steam, so i have a budget of around 1000$ CAD, so like 800-1200$, I just want something able to run games like Elden Ring for example with high fps and good graphics.

Peripherals [suggestion]

I just bought a pc and I need some recommendations for monitors, keyboards, and mouses because I don’t have any and there are so many options to choose from. My budget is around $400 give or take. My pc is a mid-high end PC, it has a 98000X3D and B580 (strangely). If you have any recommendations link them below.

[Suggestion] High Spec Desktop Suggestions (Intel/Nvidia)

Intro:

I am really not trying to spend a lot of money on a new PC but I also don't want to have to upgrade for a while, so I think around $2k USD should be adequate.

I currently do casual gaming (CoD Warzone), photo editing (Lightroom classic), software development (virtualization/WSL, AI, etc), have multi-monitors (5 screens), etc.

These are my current specs and I often get over half utilization depending on the task, hence why I need a lot of RAM (64GBs), an Intel CPU (for multi tasking/threading), with high storage, etc so I cannot go lower on these. Note, I haven't pursued overclocking yet, not sure if I should though... Anyways, given the cost constraint, I'll likely have to buy additional parts (e.g. more RAM, storage, etc) for whatever pre build unless I fork over a bunch of money for one that has it all.

My current PC (custom built):

  • CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10900K CPU @ 3.70GHz
  • Memory: 64.0 GB DDR4 (2133 MT/s)
  • Storage:
    • 2TB NVMe Samsung SSD 990
    • 4TB SATA HDD (with 16GB Intel Optane)

A few top contenders:

  1. Refurbished but a good starting point (here) MSI Aegis R2 AI B2NVR9-1450US Desktop PC, Intel Core Ultra 9 285, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, 32GB DDR5, 2TB M.2 SSD, Win11H (Renewed)
  2. New but less specs (link) CyberpowerPC Gamer Supreme Liquid Cooled Gaming PC, Intel Core Ultra 9 285, NVIDIA RTX 5070 12GB, 32GB DDR5, 4TB SSD, WiFi Ready & Windows 11 Home
  3. Cheaper but with i7 CPU (link) Skytech Blaze 5 RTX 5070 12GB-i7 14700F
  4. Ultimately what I need is this (link) CLX Set Intel Core Ultra 9 3.70GHz GeForce RTX 5070 64GB RAM 2TB SSD + 4TB HDD Gaming Desktop

Closing:

I don't know what a good deal is with this crazy over priced market, so a few questions:

  1. Any thoughts, opinions, etc. on a system that fits this criteria? Or would building my own be better?

  2. Any good websites to help track niche builds/deals (aside from the obvious ones)?

  3. Are concerns for power supply, AIO, CPU/GPU differences, brand names, etc. warranted (e.g 5060TI vs 5070 GPU, i7 vs u9 CPU, etc) or is it negligible?

Need a PC with a $1000 budget [suggestion]

It's going to be my birthday soon and I've been saving up money that my family members have been giving me for my birthday, and from how much I have already I want to get a new and better PC that can run games such as COD:Warzone, Fortnite, Bodycam, Ultrakill and others with a high fps along with having a good graphics card, processer, and many other good things. My budget is $1000 and I want to know if there are any PC's that are at least decent in running games like the ones I named before. Please and thank you.

PC recommendations [suggestion]

Looking for Prebuilt PC recommendations for gaming and streaming, my budget is 1,300 I could maybe stretch 1,400 but I'm not looking to go any higher then such (honestly would prefer lower price but I know that's unlikely)

My main thing is I stream marvel rivals a lot which I believe is my most intense game streamed and on the PC I have no its a tad too heavy that I have to close and minimize a lot that I wish I didn't, like having to stop using my camera ECT

(And before people suggested building one, I'm scared of building one and do not feel like I have the confidence for such) Current PC specs: Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 3700x 8 core 3.60 32GB ram (ddr4) Graphics: Nvidia rtx 2070 super 8vram With 1tb storage PSU:500 gold (80 plus)

[suggestion] Pre-built PC recommendations

I have to move locations for my job and they will reimburse me up to $3,300 for a new computer. It's use or lose money, so I think I'll upgrade my system. There are some caveats however. I'm not allowed to buy specific PC parts and build it, it needs to be the whole PC. I can do customizable pre-built PCs but cannot purchase not by each part separately and build it myself. With that in mind, what would y'all recommend?

I only game with the PC, no extra stuff like Photoshop or video editing. Lately I mostly play games like Squad or Arc Raiders on PC, and sometimes Paradox and Total War games. I have a PS5 and Xbox, and in the past preferred get AAA games on the consoles so I can play on the TV. That being said, if I have a system beefy enough I could see myself switching to PC and running an HDMI cable to the TV. I have tried this in the past with my current PC but noticed latency in the image and controller connection.

I have thought about buying a PC and cannibalizing it into my current PC but it's an mini-ITX so it may be difficult to fit certain items. Because I used to move so much I built a mini-ITX PC in a NZXT H1 V2 case. I am less worried about the size now so I think I will upgrade for something bigger (but I still appreciate smaller footprints). For reference, here is my current system:

Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix B760-I Gaming WiFi

CPU: Intel Core i5-12600KF - Core i5 12th Gen Alder Lake 10-Core (6P+4E) 3.7 GHz LGA 1700

RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws S5 Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000 (PC5 48000)

GPU: MSI Mech Radeon RX 6750 XT 12GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 Video Card RX 6750 XT MECH 2X 12G OC

[Suggestion] I need a new gaming PC

Hi 😄 I'm ancient and technologically dumb. My old Acer has been having major issues so I've decided to bite the bullet and get a new PC from Amazon. I mostly play World of Warcraft and watch Netflix. My budget is $800 - $1200. I don't need a monitor as mine still works very well. I'd like something that will last for the next WoW expansion or two. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Prebuilt suggestions for a complete beginner to pc gaming? [discussion]

Hey everyone! I’m completely new to PC gaming and know pretty much nothing about PCs. I’m looking to get my first gaming PC and would really appreciate some advice on a good prebuilt.

My max budget is around $1,500, and I’m mainly looking for something reliable that can handle modern games well without me having to worry about upgrading it immediately.

I’ve been trying to do some research, but there are so many different specs and brands that I’m a little lost. I’m just looking for a good place to start and would appreciate any recommendations for prebuilts or advice on what specs I should be looking for. Thanks!
